I remember buying “The Hurting” album back in the 80’s and playing this track over and over.Roland sings it from the heart,for me it’s their finest track,I never get tired of it and never will.Total perfection and when he sings Memories Fade but the scars still linger for the first time and raises his arm it sends shivers down my spine every time.

My dad was a fan and he used to play their music for me literally since I was born and over the years I discovered more and more of their songs falling in love more and more with their music.
I was 7 when I knew they were my favorite band, I'm 23 now and they still are
Roland Orzabal was only 20 when he wrote this song. I let that sink in every time I listen to it.

me gustaba muchísimo la formación original de Tears For Fears , eran muy talentosos los demás músicos y lograban un sonido único ! los cambios posteriores de miembros no era lo mismo, empobreció el sonido y estilo , destaco al tecladista ,al saxofonista y al baterista que me parece tremendo musico .
Esse baterista colaborou muito na definição do estilo deles. Deveria ter continuado na banda.
