Dave's voice is great
Yes. He was great in Morbid. His work on Vltima's record is phenomenal. And he sounds great here as well.
The best Death Metal vocalist in my opinion.
Tom doing a good job of emulating Robbo's guitar tone here! In a world where everyone just wants to cover Ace of Spades, it's awesome to see these guys pick a track from an obscure -- but underappreciated -- Motorhead album.
Another Perfect Day is such an underrated classic.

If I recall, Morbid Angel toured with Motorhead in 93 or 94 sometime after "Covenant" came out. I was too young back then but would have loved to see that.

Casual fans will often talk shit about Another Perfect Day, but I've seen so many great metal musicians take major inspiration from it. Fenriz, Abbath, LG Petrov, David Vincent and more I'm probably forgetting to mention here. Heck, Sepultura named themselves after the song Dancing on Your Grave (Sepultura is grave in Portuguese).
So yeah, this was a fucking awesome cover.

Abbath is great. David is different but at least equally good (he has my preference since I'm much more a fan of Death Metal than Black Metal).
As good as the original. Some people says even better.....

Huh? He was doing pretty much all alternate-picking here. And why should he sing death metal style vocals on a Motorhead cover? That would be wack. Maybe think before commenting next time.
David Vinson has gone total country now. No way he could even do altars of madness voice anymore anyways.
He already said he had to adapt his vocal style because his voice became a lot deeper after he quit smoking, so those Alters vocal days are long gone.
