Wow, for an original Game Boy port, this is very good. Very faithful to the original arcade. I heard if you use this on Super Game Boy, it becomes the SNES version.
Back then, videogames has no "epic ending". Why you ask? Because videogames main purpose is to have "quick fun" and "kill time till you are bored of it" That's the main purpose of a videogame. Kids have other activities to do actually, like reading, riding a bike or playing with friends in the neighbourhood if any. Even Super Mario Bros let you play it again after rescuing the Princess, and continue until you lose all your life, or just let someone else take over the cabinet.
Actually SMB ends once the Princess is rescued, you could go through a harder second loop if you liked (Goombas replaced by Buzzy Beetles), but finish that, and that was pretty much it, you saw the entire game, both loops.
Nah smb still has a goal to be defined This on other hand not really I usually like arcade games because i become less frustrated in losing, it's not like there's an ending anyways, so i keep playing
@@kqlys7845 probably because previous Boomer eyes (Those who were already 40 and 50 in the 1980's) see that anything that is "Fun" is seen as kids activity I guess ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I remember Nintendo was sold in toy shops back in the 80's and early 90's before Sony Playstation appeared in music stores in mid 90's here in Sweden
Seems a bit different of the version I had. Mine was probably a japanese version (it came on those 100 in 1 cartridges), the differences were basically on the sound department, and I think it was a launch title as it appeared as a 1990 game in the title screen.
The best part about this version is that when played on the Super Game Boy, it includes the SNES version.
even if you've never played it before, it's a nice game to play. It can easily keep a person playing for hours on end.
even with it's early/primitive graphics, Space Invaders stands out as one of the best video games of all time.
Yep
I wasn’t born when this was made but I think this is better than newer games

These graphics are next gen
Man it's 32k 6400fps Hyper HDR Deluxe Pro Ultimate more-realistic-than-real-life graphics support and its size is 0,001 bytes
This version is way too easy :( I made it to round 22 and turned it off out of boredom. The SNES ver. tho, I can only go 5 rounds before I'm losing

FinalFantasySete Taito reworked the game for Super Game Boy use, so that’s why.
