Thank you Ed for the three little bottles that I ordered which arrived safely at my dad's. I am here from Canada on a visit but currently isolated because I came down with COVID. Watching your videos is a good distraction.
Everything looks so impressive when you photograph it in the round-up. 😁 The groupings really lend themselves to the concept of shadow boxes. 🥰 You'd just have to decide what to let go of... 😬😂
Great finds Ed, always nice to find a bit of Roman, great you found both parts of the fibular!! That the excellent thing about metal detecting. Thinking about having a go with mine soon, getting stronger after the big C , so I'll have a little look on the beach here at Eastbourne. Looking forward to your next vid. 👍
I always enjoy the pace of your videos Ed. I did think 'tamper' at first, but I think that it may be a bit chunky and uneven. 🤔 How is the move going? I see that we have lost the Rose. 😪
Thanks Brad, we found a place finally, a bit expensive but location is perfect for me as I won't spend a penny on commuting so evens out. Just waiting for the credit checks and that lot and should be in very soon. The hard part will be finding a permission around here 🫤😂
Thanks mate, I think it is a strap end too. I wish I had more time to explore those fields but I am on the move again 😂 back to square 1 for a while and start finding permissions from scratch, I hope you are having some luck too 👍
I’ve got to say that the fibula is stunning, even in 2 parts! If I find the pin I’ll let you know🤣 That little coin looked Roman to me too and I bet that is a zoomorphic strap end, the eyes are probably at the pointy end and a bit worn away 😢Fab hunt Ed, take care and catch up soon 👍🙋♀️Julie👩😘
@@VintageParagonUk yeah, just kidding, plus I’m sure once there’s a downpour some more will pop up 😁 Are you settled in yet or still in the process of moving? 🤗👩
@@DowntoEarthDetecting2000 I had my first day at work today which was hectic and just going through some checks for a house so having to stay at a friend's house during the week for a while so it is a bit crazy but hopefully be sorted out soon, I brought my detector along but not had much luck finding a place to go, once we are moved in I can have a proper look about 🙂
To be honest I usually just stick to multi frequency most of the time unless I find a little hot spot then have a fiddle to see if I can get any smaller bits out after covering it in multi 👍
Fantastic…❤️🇨🇦
Thank you 😊
Well done on the roman brooch most likely broke by the plough
Thanks mate, always like a bit of roman
Loved the Roman!!!!
Thanks Mary 👍

I am glad they arrived safely 🙂 but rubbish about having covid, I hope that you don't feel too bad and can get out and about soon 👍
@@VintageParagonUk I didn't get very ill but it went on for a while, but once it was over I had a great trip!

Thanks Noralee, nice to know it is being appreciated as the analytics show most people click away by that time 😂
@@VintageParagonUk Well that sucks! 😒 We're becoming a species with no attention span. 🙄
You found so many amazing things. Thank you for the wonderful video.
Thanks so much, I have had a lot of luck 😊

Wonder if the broken bit could be part of a pipe tamper , enjoyed watching your video 👍
Yes I wondered the same 👍
Thanks, it might be but not too sure 🙂
Really good finds! Very enjoyable. Pretty button! Thanks for taking us with you into the field. Suzy
Thanks Suzy, plenty of buttons in those fields 😂👍

Cracking finds Ed!! Fancy those fibular pieces being sat waiting for you on the surface! 😁 Lucky day!
I know it is crazy to think how long it has been there for 🙂
So fabulous finds there. Your coin collection must be growing nicely.
It certainly is getting there 👍

Yet again Ed another great video, it's all about presentation and editing, keep digging mate 👍, regards Kelvin.
Thanks, I am really glad you are enjoying them, they take time to put together so it is nice to hear 👍
Jesus mate I would be grateful for half of a fib, but the matching other half. Simply amazing 👏, well done and thanks again. Regards kelv. 😀
Cheers Kelv, yep, amazing wasn't it, all those years and only about 2 steps apart 😁👍

Thanks Mark, I have been very lucky recently, nice to hear you are getting stronger, you will be out finding treasure in no time 👍
What a great variety! The luck of finding the second fib. piece - was that before or after the wishing stone?...🐸
I think the stone had something to do with it 😉
Great finds 😊 but the padlock is more Rupert Bear than Mickey Mouse 😃 😎
Thanks, yes you are right, the ears are a better size 😂

Awesome hunt, especially loved that fibula and i would say that's definitely a strap end not sure what age, but i would say early medieval or saxon.
Thanks mate, I think it is a strap end too. I wish I had more time to explore those fields but I am on the move again 😂 back to square 1 for a while and start finding permissions from scratch, I hope you are having some luck too 👍
@@VintageParagonUk Thanks so much, I have had lots of luck recently, finding some beautiful big hammered coins.

Do you find frequency settings make a difference with your nox?
