It's usually because you have not done enough take-off work from a middle to long run-up i.e. with speed. So, you want to slow down. We use lots of mat drills (search on the channel) to learn how to set the take-off up. Also, you should do lots of run-ups so that you get ued to travelling across the board at speed and on say 50% of these you should make a take-off. Hope this helps
25% increase in one month is a little optimistic, 5-10% is much more realistic. You might want to look at taking a longer approach to have more speed at takeoff. for example if you do a 12 step run up, try 14.
I have trouble sprinting off the board and my coach keeps telling my that I’m reaching sticking my foot out is there anything that can fix my run off?
