Dobby gives Harry the gillyweed in the fourth book and warns the DA about Umbridge getting ready to raid their club. He came in clutch when they needed him. He also tells Harry about the room of requirement so they have a place to train
Hermione erasing herself from her parents' memories is arguably the bravest anyone's done in this universe. It was only mentioned in the books in passing, but I'm glad they decided to put it in the movie.
In the books, wasn’t it presented as not as permanent? Like she sent them to Australia so she would know where to find them or something along those lines and it was reversible. The movie definitely made it seem like a huge split / sacrifice which was honestly maybe a good change for the stakes and gravity of the situation
Memory Charms are always capable of being broken but it takes great skill and depends on how strong the caster is. In Goblet of Fire Voldemort breaks the memory charm on Bertha Jorkins via cruciatus curse
@tylerbrown7246 yes, but it still is just as brave of a thing to do. Like you said, it takes so much skill to undo it. I'm not doubting Hermione's skill-she's the brightest witch among her peers after all-but there's a lot riding on reversing a spell. Remember, Lockhart never fully recovered from his own memory charm.
Yes that’s why I mentioned the skill of the person who casts the spell because Lockhart mentions that he’s especially gifted at memory charms which gets rebounded onto himself. Hermione had never done it before and I can’t imagine Barty Crouch ever needed to cast one before Bertha. I imagine since Lockhart has obliviated many many witches and wizards that his charms are stronger and he intended to completely erase all of Ron and Harry’s memories instead of specific memories. Yes it is brave and a sacrifice for Hermione but it’s not an absolute.
*Bill delivering the news of Alastor "Mad-Eye" Moody's death is worse when you know that their actors, Brendan and Domnhall Gleason, are father and son in real life.* *Also: Voldemort wasn't hating on Lucius' wand. Lucius fell out of favor with Voldemort because he failed to deliver the Prophecy in Order Of The Phoenix.* *Side note: if you don't recognize the actor who played Rufus Scrimgeour, that's Bill Nighy, also known as Viktor from Underworld and Davy Jones from the 2nd and 3rd Pirates Of The Caribbean movies.*
27:17 I actually love this scene so much, in particular because it feels so awkward and clunky. The weight of the whole series is on them, they're at an all time low, and they've lost all direction. But they, and the audience, needed a little cathartic breather before the final act
I love this movie. The sombre tone, the bleak surroundings, the sad scenes of goodbyes. I think it creates such an inimitable atmosphere. I think it’s the best Harry Potter movie
9:16 is one of my favorite scenes, though from what I remember from the books I think it was actually Harry’s wand that cooked here as it sort of had a mind of its own and was protecting Harry with a spell of golden flames that just decided to shoot out of it.
i don’t often see the comment on HP reactions for this movie. but one thing they don’t touch on is how when harry is disguised as Runcorn looking for Umbridges office one of the reasons he stops is because he notices Mad Eye’s magical eye in her door to her office. so sick 🤢
"We can wound, but not fatally harm each other". When people ask why Voldemort did not Avada Kedavared Snape in Part 2, instead WOUNDING HIM and then let Nagini finish the job... This is why.
I WISH MALFOY TURNED GOOD. I wish they never cut the deleted scene from the last movie with him helping Harry. I won’t describe it to avoid further spoilers, but I’m assuming y’all have already watched the last one by this point and it’s just not edited or posted yet.
Of all the changes the movies made, having Ron say to Harry, "You have no family" is easily one of the worst. Book Ron would NEVER say something like that to Harry, no matter how upset he might be.
Ngl, the fact that very few ppl if any at all can recognize Davy Jones behind the actor who plays the new Prime Minister, is a testament to how the CGI on Pirates of the Caribbean is one of the highest forms of art
You saying Cho is good because you don't remember why they broke up im the books, the movie they make like Harry blames her for the Dumbledore's Army thing, when in reality in the books she wouldn't shut up about Her dead ex boyfriend Cedric, she even asked Harry if when he was dying he said something about her, which Harry responded in the best way as possible "yes Cho he said tell my loving girlfriend i love her" cho said "really" Harry said "no because he was getting murdered!!!" And she runs away crying, and she would always say to Harry "oh Cedric did this and that" so annoying!!!!! They did Ron and Ginny dirty in the movies and i don't know why!!!
The hallows are set to kill the owners of the them the same way they took the life of the original brothers. Eg: Owner of elder wand - killed by friend (Dumbledore killed by snape) (Harry broke the wand before Ron gets greedy) Owner of resurrection stone - killed by suicide (Dumbledore told snape to kill him, Harry decides to killself) Owner of invisible cloak - greeted death as friends (James potter protected his family Harry potter goes to the Forrest willingly)
Since Harry Potter is ending, are you going to react to the Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts movie, to end the journey? It's a perfect full-circle moment :)
@ Yeah it was a little rushed but it was necessary bcz they couldn’t have divided the final book into 3 parts bcz it would have made the movie too slow and it would have got boring bcz the final book mostly contains the informative part till the action at end, so I think it was reasonable🫠
@@Kmelody1279 I just didn't like how they went from place to place without any explanation or planning. In the books they planned for months. The books are too informative for the movies ofc but still
When I binge-watched this series for the first time, undoubtedly this was my 2nd favorite movie of the series (after The Order of Phoenix). It's so different from everything else because I can feel the close-to-real-life world vibes from it. They went through so many places (finally getting out of Hogwarts) making it feel like the Wizarding World is not some fairy tale in this series. They really feel like just other human beings living among normies with superpowers and that fs elevates the stake of this mission to find the hocrux.. that Voldemort is a real threat not only for Harry personally, but the whole world.. bc we can finally see the bigger scope of the world from this movie. What I'm saying is.. when I watch all the other movies, I always forget there's a world outside Hogwarts and I feel a little disconnected emotionally from the characters bc of that heavy magical nuance when we're at school all the time.
They should make a spin off titled The wholesome adventures of Luna and Dobby They gave a glimpse of 2 of my top 5 interacting and I left me wanting more
Dumbledore gives Ron the delimunator because he knew Ron would always wuss out 😂 The harryhermione shippers were eating good with this one. 😂 The dance scene with O children is quite good. Feels sad but hopeful. Great movie with a really good ending. Many magic mysteries here
My girl Hermione went through it this movie 😭 Gosh she deserves the praise her character gets
Dobby's first words : harry potter!
Dobby's last words : harry potter! 😢
Nice finally Harry Potter Part 7.1 1080p is out
Wow is this forever a piece of the Gek lore?😂

She separated the person from the conflict and went after the conflict. 👌🏻👏🏻

Dobby's death will always be the saddest scene in the film franchise for me. He's just so pure and loving.😢
Is it their first time watching?Do you know?
@@rafiakhanum9646it’s a first for some of them - maybe just Briggs but I think someone else needed a refresh / it had been awhile

The couch should check out the deleted scene of this movie, where the Dursleys are leaving the house but Dudley comes back to Harry to say goodbye.

The fact that draco didn’t say anything when he sees harry ron and hermione 😩

Seeing "Otto Hightower" aka " Xenophilius Lovegood" aka Rhys Ifans looking so different was pretty awesome

Its sad that they skipped Dumbledores whole backstory in the film...
I was waiting for yall to recognize the actor that plays Luna’s father, he plays Otto Hightower in HOtD!!
Finally I can watch one of your Harry Potter movie reactions with my visual issues I don’t have to watch the coffee table!! Woo hoo!!
It's amazing how many things they changed in this movie. The worst part is Grindelwald betraying Dumbledore. In the books he never told Voldemort
I’m not ready to finish these hp reactions….can we have Fantastic Beasts reaction as well ? It would be fun right after finishing HP

Cannon, you do not dare touch Jackson! 😂
this is my favorite harry potter movie, the vibes on this one are insane
Did you guys know Luna’s father is Otto from House of the Dragon?
Hermione remains to be one of the best female characters in fiction.
42:22 damn right...
11:44 Carter🙏😭
Pretty relatable 😆I remember teenage-me rolling my eyes when watching this scene
😂
Dobby appears in every book since the 2nd, except for the 3rd.
Bathilda Backshot is crazy 😭

Harry didn't attack on Hagrids bike while passed out, his wand did that on its own.
THE LAST SONG IS SUCHHH A CLASSIC YEPP
The hallows are set to kill the owners of the them the same way they took the life of the original brothers.
Eg:
Owner of elder wand - killed by friend
(Dumbledore killed by snape)

Owner of resurrection stone - killed by suicide
(Dumbledore told snape to kill him,
Harry decides to killself)
Owner of invisible cloak - greeted death as friends

Harry potter goes to the Forrest willingly)
Harry’s wand acted on its own when it sensed Voldemort - Harry didn’t do anything except try to maintain consciousness
We are at the peak of the Harry Potter adventures why are the duration of these reaction videos getting shorter?
Probably copyright, the first two had to be reuploaded which hurts the channel. So they're playing it safe by making it shorter.
React to "from" series!!

20:40 I wonder what would be faster, a wand or a gun xD
Lovely runner kdrama
When?????
Book cho no way. Film cho yeah maybe. Book ginny yes way. Film ginny no no.
When is the next stream lads?
I love this film so much. I think its got so much buildup. But i love the direction. Only thing is the filter which im not a fan of.

its not pennywise its Henry/Vecna/001
