It’s hard to evaluate him because he’s got all day to throw and the level of competition. Plus he’s throwing to a lot of wide open receivers that will hardly ever be that open in the NFL. 1 thing I do like about him is his accuracy.

The kid threw 62 TDs to only 11 int. He's got a strong arm that can throw some heat when it's necessary but usually he is throwing on time to receivers that are running great routes or that are really good at getting open. Even when they did play the bigger D1 schools they were never blown out but he threw for big TDs no matter the competition. The NFL will be a much faster pace but we will see what he's got on pro day or combine. Interesting for sure.

The ball isn’t so zippy off his hand, but he knows how to play to his strengths. He knows how to go through his progressions as well. The only hurdle I see him having short-term in the NFL is holding on to the ball for too long.

Pros: Accurate. Great touch on his throws. Quick release. Scans the field well. Makes quick and precise decisions. Gets rid of the ball within 3 seconds consistently. Only throws the ball where the receiver can make a play. Good back shoulder throw. Agile inside of the pocket, throws on a dime when outside of the pocket.
Cons: arm strength, can he move the ball downfield at will or will he be a nickel and dime type of qb? Alot of signs point towards the latter. Durability is a concern. Can he handle a 17game regular season or does he get injured like a Baker mayfield, tua or wentz.
Very interesting prospect. Overall hes a 3rd-4th round type of prospect

This guy is a prefect example of someone who would go undrafted in normal QB classes but will probably get drafted because of the nature of this class. Ridder could become a diamond in the rough and so could Willis and Strong. I just do not see it for most of this class though. You obviously don't draft him in the first round or high. But this is a guy you want to give a shot. lots of potential. At worst he'll be dropping dimes in camp with no pressure in his face.

I hate when people overlook proven talents (in college obviously, before they play professionally) for someone who is just super athletic without the talent. It’s a lot easier to get someone to be quicker and stronger (to a point of course) than it is to teach them how to play football

He worth a 6th round pick. He could develop into a decent back up QB and possible starter. Although Tom Brady was taken in the 6th round he was 6 foot 5 inches in height and was overlooked because he played in the shadow of Drew Hensen at Michigan. Zappe is a shorter guy and it will be more difficult for him in the NFL.

But he can be used on the Goal line right away,,, but he has to learn how to read defenses to be ready to start ... maybe he will or maybe he wont. He needs some tine to learn.
