Desmond Ridder had a terrific year at Cincinnati this guy broke the record and touchdowns and rushing yards his speed is unreal he ran a 55 yard TD that's unbelievable for any quarterback can do that but for him that's what makes him dangerous just an incredible athlete.
Falcons need someone like this
just did
They got him
U predicted the future 😂
We do
We still do😭
That back shoulder fade at 10:58 was beautiful🔥🔥🔥
Desmond Ridder: Next big thing.
Here after I heard falcons met with him at senior bowl
Here because mel kiper jr. had my Saints drafting ridder somewhere in the middle of the first round...intriguing prospect but like i saw some one else comment i never saw him get past his first read really once or twice when the protection broke down. The saints are kind of mavericks when it comes to the draft so well wait and see. Im hearing though that defensive lineman/linebacker,offensive lineman, and wide receiver are the deep and most talented positions in the draft. You know Pat Mahomes didn't look great in college either. The graphic said the Saints haven't drafted a QB in the first round since Archie Manning in 1971.Exciting!
The throw at 4:00 was amazing.
As a Steeler fan I will always respect Ben for what he did for the franchise...that being said I am excited to see a young dual threat QB behind center!!!! League is moving to more dual threat style QB play. We need our guy like that to keep up!!!
I really like this guy. He makes throws and scrambles look effortless. He’s down the field several yards right away when he runs. He has excellent throwing touch and yet an obvious cannon. Despite a longer throwing motion, the ball is still out quickly and it looks sharp wherever he slings it. He always seems to step right into the throw. Some lucky team will get this guy in the low 1st unless the hype train heats up for him before late April. Which it probably will since that’s how it goes for QBs every year
The Colts might be a perfect spot for him.
Thank you mr.kiper.
The hype has heated up
@@VB29_92 riddler should be#1 overall
Falcons in the 3rd 🤙🏾
Steelers?
Hands down, the best quarterback in the draft.
Ridder is that guy I would draft him over any other QB in this draft even if folks thought it's a reach
this is big facts
So smooth
Facts
Facts. I don’t get why he’s not getting attention
The Eagles will definitely be in play.
This guy is the best prospect I’ve seen this year. Only needed to watch 1 minute. Forget the big name schools, you need a guy who 1) isn’t 19 2) possesses maturity (he has a kid) 3) has the skills that translate in today’s NFL (pocket awareness, mobility, strong arm, accuracy, effortless motion) 4) the ability to improvise
Alabama opened as a 14 point overdog. Well, that is how much "respect" Ridder is given here. We shall see.
Having a kid at that young age isnt really a good argument for "possessing maturity" tbf. Could even mean the exact opposite...
Completion percentage for College QB is the most stupidest stats for a college QB. I would rather see completion percentage with pressure vs non pressure
Only needed 1 minute lol thank god ur not a GM
Desmond is amazing when he is hot. But when he is cold he can be really bad sometimes (coming from a uc fan)
Steelers draft at 20...I wouldn't be mad at this pick..Can't start season with Mason👀
Among other things he’s going to have to work on his ball placement. A lot of plays his receivers had to turn around and get the ball because he threw it behind them instead of hitting them in stride. Also doesn’t look like he can throw to the outside shoulder of the receiver yet. But he’s got a lot to like though
Im not sure what youre watching. Every throw down field was in stride. Other throws it looked like TB12 and how he doesnt throw the ball where players take big hits!! Could be wrong about intention but looks intentional.
He’d look good in a Steelers uni
Nah... Yall can start Haskins 🤣
Nope ya'll want Malik Willis
@@aaronrobinson6753Willis will be gone way before we can get him
Id rather have Ridder.. he's a proven winner. DAMN DAMN
@@Mrthor3535 winning in college doesn't = nfl success
Hidden gem in this draft
Fucking ayes, falcons got Him!!
Wow this dude got alot better at ball placement as the season went on. Halfway through the video he starts dropping it over that outside shoulder and by the end its every throw. Dude can sling it.
He’s got below average nfl arm strength and horrendous accuracy. if you watched his full games it was bad
@@henryk2065 I mean I'm not gonna sit and watch college football games... but from this video he clearly learns how to drop it over the outside shoulder on a regular basis. Lots of pros still cant do it. It's almost undefendable and he can do it.
He reminds me of a Herbert/Marriota hybrid. He can be good in the right system but as someone said, you only see him throw to his first read and they’re usually wide open. That won’t fly for a second in the NFL
Exact same thing I said to myself while watching. Mariota replica
I was looking for this comment because I was thinking the same thing he’s not doing anything special but throwing to his first read if he not open he runs
Reminds me of Tannehill
He's more accurate than any of those guy are; additionally, his recognition and awareness are far above. He can effectively run a Tom Brady-type offence meticulously moving the ball down or run a mobile west coast-type system. Get him a number 1 receiver, and he can do damage with his ballsiness.
@@NotExplicable touché the kid is special
Only gripe is a couple time going back to middle of the field read seems to toss it and his guys have a shot of getting decapitated a couple times. Can't really tell how well he goes through reads from highlights either.
the more i watch the more i like he seems more polished( nice form) ,poised(seems more consistent than others),accurate( he has an average arm but throws a pretty ball and seems to be able to make all the throws),and mature( knows when to slide and when to audible or throw the ball away) than the other top qb prospects this year. Reminds me of Jared Goff alot if im not mistaken the only thing is he can run better than goff and has very good run vision down field but to me if thats the case why not trade for Goff? he can prolly be had for a player we need to unload anyway and a second round pick. im thinking Mike Thomas or Alvin Kamara. Then detroit could draft any qb they want and with double second rounders early in the draft order to load up at wr as the draft is strong at that point. With Kenny Pickett and AK41 plus a couple of good wide receivers Detrout could do a fast rebuild possibly even compete next year. I sort of get the feeling no one in Detroit likes jared goff much i mean they gave him no help this year but trotted him outevery weekto lose almost every game. Goff is not bad at all hes a winning qb and can make all the throw...smh sean McVay effed that guy over so bad and Detroit acted like they didnt even want him , like he was baggage that came with the two or 3 first round picks they got for Stafford. If Detroit made the trade i suggested they could even have the picks to build a defense for a couple years afterward...some very good defensive talent in this draft.Unfortunate that the Saints dont really need anyone on defense aside from some depth at interior defensive line.
because goff has a huge contract
Or saints can draft him while behind jameis winston on a 1 year deal and will be able to play with both mt and kamara
Any team in the nfl can draft a qb for a backup role
2nd round qbs havent panned out since derek carr in 2014 the best being jalen hurts
Hopefully this guy is good but calm down detroit will bounce back someday even if you dont get him
As a Lions fan, if this guy is on the board with the Rams first round pick, we HAVE to take him. Goff gets guranteed money for another year so there’s an excuse to not play him his first year and let him develop a bit. That way we don’t have to wait and see who’s gonna be available next year and worry about them having to sit out a year.
Definitely..
I think he last to the 2nd which is still back to back for the lion's but I'm a Malik Willis fan as well as Matt Carroll
@@CATCH22-313 matt coral is a players qb... he has heart... but I think ridder Pickett is best in this class
Why not take the best QB Willis in the class at 2 ?
@@qasasabdul-aziz5680 far from the best QB in this class and no QB is worth taking at 2 this year. We do need to work on defense more than anything so if we take no QB I wouldn’t be too mad but personally I think Ridder is the most likely to be ready to start next year if any of this years QBs
I didn't like it when a mock draft projected the Steelers will take him in the first round. But after watching these highlights, It wouldn't be a bad move if they did.
I am for him being a Steelers qb as well
@@roberttaylor2916 He's looks good, and with the Steelers offensive line issues, he's mobile enough to pick up yards and by time in the pocket when things break down. But he also display a Canon arm with accuracy. Can't wait to see him against that Alabama defense.
You're literally basing this off a highlight reel. Any player can get one put together and look amazing. He has many flaws as well
@@jwsteelers1 Well I'm pretty sure that's one of the steps that scouts do to evaluate a player is to watch tapes. Unless you have a secret system, that they don't. Know?
@@gaddyify Yeah genius tape. Not highlight reels. Which is why you suddenly love the guy when he's the consensus #5 or 6 QB in the draft
Welcome To Atlanta ATL Baby Rise Up Let’s Go!⚫️🔴⚫️🔴⚫️🔴⚫️🔴⚫️
Ran 4.5, 4.4 40 yard dash as a qb and can make every throw. Please Seahawks get him.
He is a good looking prospect, but man, Seattle has lots of other needs right now… Linebacker, corner, O-line ….
@@funkyflights Plus side for the Hawks if they do indeed draft a qb at 9 is they have Drew Lock to start for them and next year they'll have two 1st, two 2nds, at least 2 or 3 3rds with some of the most cap space. Next year will be the year for them to turn around their team/fill out their needs.
It’s gonna be saints
@@reznortetrault4348 …. Truth .. I’m always skeptical about drafting QB’s though, so many don’t pan out …
@@funkyflights you never know till you try though right?
He’s a great qb he did so good here in Cincinnati for the bearcats, he’s gonna play so good for whichever NFL team he goes to 🙏❤️🏈
Seahawks at 9 im speaking it into existence
we Might be able to get him a little bit later than that..👍👍
He's not good at all...he got my falcons looking bad
Welcome to Seattle.
Working out in Seattle today.
What's the Left Tackles name?
So many of the highlights are lob jump balls that will be picked or batted down at the next level. Some of the deep ones are like youth three flies up tosses. Wish him all the success in the world but it's hard to get away with those at the next level.
Hope browns can draft him in 2nd
These the kinds of plays every QB is expected to make on Sundays
No NFL QB is expected to rush for up to 650 yards in a season.....
@steelers please take a chance on him .. it’s time
No we need pickett or jt daniels
@@gini3373 I’m not sure if JT is coming out
No Bailey Zappe or Aqeel Glass best coming out. Pickett is going to be a bust and Daniel's will also be a bust.
This dude is projected to be first off the board now due to football iq and talent
Pierce is a dawg at wr
I pray to god this kid is in orange and brown next year. Lord he’s good.
That would be cool. Pittsburgh SHOULD try to het him too. Someone’s gonna get a great young talent. If no one tries the ravens may get him as Lamar’s back upn
I'm cool with him or Carson Strong
You all dont want baker mayfield anymore? Shoot well take him.Saints can win with baker mayfield.
My could sit and learn from Ryan and Eventually take over
Seahawks 2nd Rd wit his teammate Sauce Gardner 1st Rd...Go Hawks
🔥🔥
He is going to WASHINGTON FOOT BALL TEAM!!
I hope he does. We need to draft a qb .
Welcome to Atlanta!
Why do I see him coming to Washington or Tampa Bay?
The draft will be weak at QB this year. That being said, Ridder will make someone happy...like the Steelers. I hope that doesn't happen.
I was thinking the same thing about the QB position this year. The year ?Mahomes and watson came out though i thought the sane thing( never was sold on mitch trubisky, but the two guys who went after him turned out to be all pros) So you never know. Kirk Cousins,Russel wilson went late in the draft plus the other two i mentioned so you never know.
I want the Browns to take him just so the Steelers can’t. Plus if Baker sucks next season we could move on.
This year isnt bad at QB my guy. Rudder, Corral, and Malik Willis all top 10 picks IMO.
@@barbaraGobert31 your trippin
Go look up Malik willis and Howell highlights
This class has more QBs than last year
Out side of last year first rounds there was no one else
This one u got 6 guys who 3/4 can easily be day 1 starters
I would take Malik willis over Trey Lance
@@danumis_ I'm only speaking of what we can speculate now. The best QB could be in the 7th round.
I hope Atlanta drafts him!!
Third round too
Not liking some of the under throws and seems to sail that ball a touch high at times. Still a work in progress but I still like a lot of what he has to work with.
Desmond Ridder will wear black in gold in September
As a Steeler fan I’m doing a little homework on Ridder, but who is this Pierce guy!
#swayrun1 #ronriveria #washingtonfootballteam #edoliver this is the guy we should take in the 2nd round
The Atlanta Falcons football team drafted him today on draft day in the NFL.
Was trying to figure out who #12 was and realized he's now Matt Ryan's new target in Indy
Cant find pics of his parents anyplace.
I’d say his ceiling is Josh Allen and there’s a lot of resemblance there, but he also has a pretty low floor-I think of guys like Deshone Kizer. The difference between those two is that one of them learned how to read a defense and go through progressions.
I see him closer to his floor than his ceiling, but we’ll see. I just don’t see him look to more than one guy in this video. Although he has great timing and accuracy, it takes a lot more than that in the nfl.
Dude is no where near as talented as Josh Allen, he reminds me more of Ryan Tannehill
@@bryceclark3927 ryan tannehill with mobility.
He looks like a great prospect but the only thing that concerns me a bit is most of these throws he has 0 pressure in his face. Not saying he can't make those throws with pressure but it didn't happen enough to really get a good sample size to go off of.
I think he could be great in the right system. Number 12 can play too
12 is gonna have a good career on The Colts.
Lions need this kid as they future franchise Quarterback
HE WILL BE DAY 1 STARTER
QB 1 in the draft! I hope the Raiders make a power move for him
Raiders don’t need a QB
@@ReneeVLayman yes tf they do
@@ReneeVLayman carr overrated
Are you all serious!? screw it yall can have him im a saints fan well take Derek Carr if you all dont want him lol he is a top ten guy. Not an all pro but capable of leading a team to the playoffs every year.
Carr if anything is underrated.
Saints?
Keep in mind that everyone’s HIGHLIGHTS look really good. Ridder has great potential, but also had many flaws.
He'll be a low first round draft pick and millionaire.
@@fishbone3333 WTF does that have to do with anything? What he said was 100% true
Bingo
@@jwsteelers1 I went to UC and I love Ridder. He's a high character person....I was simply predicting where he would go in the draft and that it would make him financially set. because he deserves it
If I came off as a dick, I didn't mean to.
@@fishbone3333 He needs to work on having a quicker release
Telling you right now Ridder is the guy that is on top of the draft board for Pittsburgh at their spot. You never hear crazy report about the Steelers and that guy they are looking at except for last year with Najee because of the need. Well the need is there, Willis is the guy that’s being talked about. Telling you Ridder is there guy.
Very good prospect right here!
#denver
My Steelers might take him I like this kid go Steelers
Seahawks pls he looks like such a good scheme fit
I wouldn’t be mad if my lions draft him this next draft!!
I can see him in that silver and blue bro Forreal that would be nice. He’s gonna get drafted later than he should be I bet
Goff is underrated
@@GeronFletcher 2nd round you think or? I think early second
@@TheDeepBluReeftiktok I’m thinking early 2nd too
@@GeronFletcher could be the giants tbh.. I’m GMEN fan and maybe they could trade DJ and a second to move up a few spots.
Future Indianapolis colt!
I see Alex Smith he going be great
good thing he’ll be with his teammate, Sauce, in Atlanta
his throwing motion is similar to a baseball pitcher, most lead off the back and transfer into the front foot but if u look he's leaning on the back foot and spinning into the throw and then lands on the front, which can be risky.
Has arm and leg talent, but needs to not lock onto a receiver and learn to look defense off of his intended throw etc.
Did a draft simulator. My Broncos drafted him in the 3rd round
That would be super nice but think he'll be gone his strong combine performance is awesome he might go in the first round
NUMBER 1 QB for DRAFT!.....Take him Carolina!
Broncos?
My only problem is if he can perform in competition. His best win was against Notre Dame, who is overrated every single year. Alabama had a field day with him, and those are the players he should expect to play against in the NFL. He looks really good tho, and wouldn't mind if my Broncos took him.
Rider swift st brown chark TJ looks good
This guy will be a seahawk

I won’t be surprised or mad if Atlanta Falcons get him in the 2nd or 3rd in the draft!
He is going to be a star. And Willis is going to be a superstar
Wow good call

I really want the Lions to draft this kid.
Reminds me of Ryan Tannehill
Ohhh yea he nice
Cmon Detroit!
Came for Ridder, stayed for Pierce. (Oh, and trigger warning: keep the sound OFF)
Poor mans Lawrence, how did that work out... his release will cause issues in the NFL, windups don't work
Future Seahawk
Vikings ?
I see him in detroit
Upset the tide baby
The idea that this kid could be starting week 1 in Seattle is ridiculous lol.
Come to Seattle!!!
We will trade Wilson next year for picks to get a good qb in 2023 class
Alec pierce looks good as well
He is a more accurate Mitch Trubisky. He is only tossing to his 1st read mostly.
Nice footwork and base as he throws.
Hmm
stares his receivers down on almost every play though and if you watch him scramble he isnt outrunning those college defenses by much. Not sure how well he will do in the pros but definitely an interesting prospect reminds me of Watson some though not quite as fast.
He’ll Be The #11 Overall Pick, By My Redskins! Him, Scary Terry McLaurin + Logan Thomas + Curtis Samuel + Gibson + Mckissic 🔥🔥 Offense Gon B A Tough Out #HTTR
I think he will slip out of the top rounds. The scouting community hates him
*Commanders 🤦🏾♂️
You got Carson Wentz.
This is a Alec pierce highlight also
Commanders I hope we're done picking players 8 to 10 picks early, learn from Jamin! Lets Get the Draft right in 2022 Olave, Ridder.
I can see him in a Broncos uni. Excited to see what he can do in the CF playoffs.
Actually in a Saints or Steelers uniform if they want to trade up or a shit team like the Giants they have two first round (they have the Bears first round pick) picks so they'll have two high first round pics If the Giants decide that D Jones isent the answer i see them drafting him
I really hope man we NEED a qb so badly
Broncos going for Picket
@@SIRHENNY1 I would not be surprised if he was their choice too. Probably gonna have to trade up above #5 to have a shot at him though.

My lord ,
nope not Kenny Pickett, but Ridder is the best draft prospect
