I am not a big GB fan but the first two movies are super awesome. However before i saw the movies i was watching RGB cartoon and definitely consider it among those vintage 80's & 90's cartoons which i treasure. At first it seams like an average movie-cartoon spin-off show but after watching a few episodes i started to notice cool stuff that stuck-out to me. Infact there was actual scary & creepy stuff. In fact sumtimes it got down-right dark & demented. Very creative designs paired with great story writing made for genuinely entertaining SatMorn faire. One noteworthy episode i saw as kid was the Doomsday Door. I was on pins & needles during most of that episode. It is still one of my top creepy TV moments and i watched Stephen King movies as a kid lol. I also had a few of the toys, including the Proton Pack and PKG meter. That being said these Figs look absolutely perfect and perfection does come with a high price. Sawan is HUGE comparatively and will look great on the roof of that famous vint firehouse with the Ecto1 Cadillac parked surrounded by the crew shooting the beams. "Who ya gunna call? A mortgage counselor."
I went with the one pack via EE so there was free shipping. I'm super cool with just the Samhain bein trapped accessory. But that's just me, and it made the whole purchase much more palatable 🤷🏻♂️
I got the poster as well and the total was 350 including the exclusive figure. Scarecrow from the batman animated series comes out on the 31st. Mondo crushing it this month
I went to check out and noticed that shipping charge. Just for domestic shipping, $30 is ridiculous. I'd love to know Mondo's justification for that. I hope they have discounted or free shipping by the time Egon comes out. I took your advice to make our voices heard and contacted them about it.
Shipping to Canada is $60 (CAD). Plus they use DHL which I've seen charge an additional $130 brokerage fee on some of the 1:6 figures. I really want the deluxe set, but I may just order the individual Ghostbusters from BBTS since I can't justify $340 to $470 for each two pack. That'll be like $1360 to $1880 for all of them!!

So that extra $100 for the big ghost becomes an extra $300 if I buy from Mondo. BBTS charges like $20 and uses USPS, who hands of to Canada Post. If you do get charged duty/taxes, it's a reasonable amount, like $5 fee plus 5% tax.
So Jay, I found your page during rattler haslab. You've popped up several times since I discovered this figure this morning an hour before preorders. Seems like at the end of this there'll be 8 ghosts in addition to the ghostbusters, 4 of which are deluxe. Can't wait.
And I also wish I could buy the bad guys without having to buy the good guys. (I'd care way less about shipping costs if I didn't have to pay a $101 premium for a 2nd figure that I didn't want in order to be able to spend the $101 for the figure I DO want.)

Yep the shipping caused me to buy from a Canadian online retailer instead cause the extra shipping cost is 30 to 40 percent more in my own currency. If they offered free shipping, I would have gladly bought from mondo directly. My plan was to get the single only but if mondo offered free shipping only on the 2 pack, I would have strongly considered it. I asked mondo about shipping and they said only 1/6 scale figures get free shipping.
I would think for the price we would see some light effects in the pack and some more accessories. Why not an additional possessed Venkman head from Mrs. Rogers Neighborhood? Why not a set of ecto googles? Why not a slimed head with flat hair? Why not an angry Slimer head? The head is a separate piece anyway. Just seems this needs a little more to come close to justifying the price.
I still don't get why they're on 1/12 scale, when the original announcement said they'd be 1/6 scale (which would've put them at the same size as Batman, X-Men, Spider-Man, MOTU, etc - like all the other 80s/90s cartoon line figures).

I'm actually going to go all in for the Ghostbusters 2 Haslab. I am happy for those who are excited for this one. But I'm more of an Extreme Ghostbusters fan.
I can attest I woke up ready to pay the 202 and that $31 shipping knocked the wind out of me. I have a very small store and I ship things all the time and this shouldn’t cost more than $15 to anywhere in the USA unless they got someone who doesn’t know what they are doing managing their money. If the buster should have been 220 don’t hide the cost in the shipping.
As much as I love the real ghostbusters. I don't need these. I'm happy for the fans who get them. I just can't with that price for the 2 pack or the single.
Was licensing really that terrible? Did it change that much? Diamond Select was pretty reasonable on price for theirs. These are definitely better sculpt wise, but still…

I mean...if Mondo does a RGB Ecto-1, then I'll be in trouble. But until then, I'm 100% putting them with my Haslab Ecto-1. Sure they don't match, but who cares?
I was looking at the pictures and I see price is $202 right got it. My issues no joints they are statues this was the complaint for a lot of adult collectors with other toy line brands. So after seeing this yes they are nice but it's a big pass because you can't get a lot of posses and the Ghostbuster can't sit in a ecto 1. I'm sad about those two points. I think Hasbro has more up their sleeves because of the ownership with the property. I'm going wait see Hasbro cards at this point.

I have noticed that myself that people complain about a $20 that doesnt have 50 pts of articulation but will pay $200 for one who has even less . Weird .
Why would anyone care about crazy articulation here? What they’re showing they do is all you need. They don’t need to be spider man or something. You also will pose them and leave it there your probably 30-40 years old you aren’t playing with them lol dudes are so funny crying about toys.
So $100 American per figure that’s way too much to pay for one action figure. That’s like almost the price of a haslab $230 is like $400 when Canadians get it as well as shipping so clearly way too much

I think the reason why Mondo was able to get those licenses of the real Ghostbusters is because of Funko relationship with all brands and licenses

In theory, these will fit in Ecto 1, but if you attempt it, you'll probably damage them.
