  • Sitting independently is an important milestone for babies. The best age to encourage babies to sit is between 4-6 months, after they gain head control. If your baby is not sitting independently yet at 6 months, don't worry! She just needs a little extra practice in these positions. So take her out of those devices and get her on the floor. Her little muscles just need a little encouragement.
Remember to sit behind her for short sitting practice because babies fall backwards a lot! I was only sitting next to her for demonstration purposes.
First time trying to edit some photos into my video. Thank you for your understanding.
More to come on what to do for sitting exercises if your baby has torticollis.
