- We're having a picnic at Patriot Park. Overall it's a great day. The wind did make things a little chilly in the shade. Still, a picnic in a park is better than a sandwich at home.
Patriot Park rest almost in the center of Pigeon Forge, TN in the heart of the Smokies. From anywhere on the perfectly manicured lawn you can catch a glimpse of The Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The grounds offer an easy walking trail, plenty of seating, and rive wildlife.
If a picnic isn't your thing then we have an answer for that! Visit the Old Mill, same parking lot, for breakfast lunch, or dinner. The Old Mill Restaurant has been a town favorite for decades! After your meal, take a walk on the trails of Patriot Park.

We booked at KOA for this August. Will be nice to stay next to Patriot Park again. Nice to walk the dogs over there and relax in the evenings.
