This video also shows a comparison of sizes and the fauna is categorised in biomes and also indicates how dangerous each biome is, as well showing the depth range. The leviathans within this video, include the reaper, ghost, sea dragon and sea emperor.

Why is mushroom forest danger
Hey man just wanted to say thank you for all those tutorials you've made the past years. You've helped me platinum both games. Quite a wild ride, will never forget my first encounter with the reaper leviathan in the first game and the shadow leviathan in below zero. Can't wait for the third one whenever that releases

Thank-you for all your work on the Subnautica games. It’s been like a long journey and so much fun to go through it all with you helping. These games are ones I’ll go back and replay every once in awhile just because it’s so fun to start from nothing and build up and have the ocean at your fingertips. May I note that actually the Emperor leviathan is actually passive and friendly. She actually helps you if you help her and is a huge part of the game my guy. (The part where it is noted 12:13 )

It's surprising the fact that passed 5 years since the full release and still a great game
when I was first playing subnautica your videos helped me a ton :D I have been following your channel since. I would love to see more subnautica / below zero videos
Fantastic video, great shots and music. A great tribute to an *amazing* experience. I very rarely relied on your videos as I fiercly aimed to complete the game myself as much as possible. I enjoyed the challenge but was grateful for the few times your videos were there, (i.e. figuring out the tablets).
Second, my two favorite creatures were/are the Jelly Ray and Ghost Ray, and maybe It could be just my whiskey spiked coffee, but is the Ghost Ray missing from the video? Ive searched everywhere.

You only forgot one creature - it lives in the Ghost Canyon, Ghost Forest, Tree Cove, Mountains Corridor, and Junction - the Ghostray.

The lost river entrance next to life pod 2 has yielded not only crystalline sulphur, but nickel ore, both sufficient quantities to craft 1 of everything and then some
The big blood kelp entrance? That one genuinely terrifies me
@@bossm60 life pod 2 entrance leads to a juvenile ghost, the ghost forest is the room name IIRC. Kill leviathan and pick the area clean, even bring the prawn suit down for large nodes
@@mtammocan8314 the entrance to the forest is in the blood kelp though, where you can find the adult ghost, as well as my favorite combo: warpers and crab squids

1. The survival knife does 25 damage

Too right the void is insane, and too right it’s one of the best survival games around.

Those crabs… are in my nightmares not because of Their appearance but because of her EMP and can I ask you something when I got impede I hopped out of my prawn suit and went back in and I had 75% power. Explain that power explained that.
I just started playing subnatica and the stalkers always killed me until I figured out if you hit them they run away from you and stay Away from you
4:55 "extreme caution requered" 1 herbivore ray, mushroom forest is safe, the other biomes near are dangerous (dunes, blood kelp and underwater islands)
The inner mushroom forest might be safe. But the outer edges need major caution.Kelp Forest on one edge with a reaper, blood kelp on another with warmers and crabs squids, and dunes on another. After spending over1000 hrs in the game you get a complete awareness. Hence extreme caution is required

Why is the mushroom forest considered dangerous? Haven't found anything aggressive there
Well the NW mushroom forest has the Dunes and Blood Kelp Biomes next to it. And Reapers do travel around the edges with high agro. TBH I always thought the Mushroom Forest was safe...but I've had hundreds of comments stating otherwise. Hence the Danger status
You forgot the rock puncher.
The rock puncher is only in Below Zero and not Subnautica 1

Yup. The further on you get in the game. The harder they hit. They go from stage 1 to 4 on damage
