    Man you gotta come out to Long Beach sometime. We have 2 long travel Tacomas 2nd gen and a 3rd gen we built from stock ourselves, a 1450 truck, few mid travel trucks Tundra, Frontier, Silverado, I'm building a Baja Bug, a few drift cars, lifted STI on truck all terrains. We're mechanics/fabricators (for boats) and off road is one of our hobbies. Our vehicles aren't the nicest looking, but we use and abuse them for fun lol.

    Why do people say wide body??

    • @desertdime
      @desertdime  Год назад +1

      The people I have heard say it when talking about trucks usually come from a car background. Car people say wide body when getting the wide fenders.

    Learn to hold the camera steady.. your hands shake too much

    • @desertdime
      @desertdime  2 месяца назад

      Haha trust me I know. When I watch the footage back I’m always thinking Michael J Fox recorded it. It’s just how my hands are. I’m trying to get better with it but what can ya do

    • @johns818
      @johns818 2 месяца назад +1

      @@desertdime Bro sorry if I came off cynical.. btw I like your content and I'm subscribed. Here's a tip tho: always use a mount with a counter weighted handle. It won't completely eliminate shake but it will make the footage significantly less jarring. But if you can afford $150 to $300 you can buy a gimbal. Anyways keep up the good work I'm a fan of the channel.

      @@johns818I appreciate the support. Yeah a gimbal would be nice but with the run and gun style of shooting I do especially when in the desert, I try to keep the equipment to a minimum. Maybe for these interview style shoots it would work but even so it would be hard to get all that in the wheel wells to get a good look. What would be ideal is a camera body with internal stabilization
