I'm curious to see if I'm alone here: did Operation Underground just need some spawn zone tweaks to make it into a truly great map or was it always doomed to fade into obscurity?
I think a few more paths or inter-changeability between the current paths would have made the gameplay more dynamic. Like possibly a railcar that moved back and forth with armor, similar to elevator situations in buildings, or even some environmental effects such as light being restricted in parts or certain times and only light sources were muzzle flashes or fire of some sort.
Truly don’t find anything wrong with other ten no vehicles. Personally would love to see all bf5 maps larger and bigger player count. Maybe add some more vehicles. Weapons and skins are ok. As are player customization.

Yep my 3080 Ti from early 2022 is still putting in work but I'm finally about to upgrade to a 4080 Super to get ready for the Hunt engine upgrade and the STALKER 2 release later this year

I would've said this would be the most popular map right now, at least on console every one is going for this map in conquest. Maybe Lofoten would be the lowest map since it is only in TDM.
I really enjoyed this map - i play on EU console servers and this map appears so often in rotation or just in community servers. Once live service got suspended i spent hours playing hardcore community games on this map. it can just be mindless fun sometimes. Spawn balance was defo an issue but the accomplishment felt breaking the spawn camp was so good.

I feel I got this map so much, it was Narvik thats the forgotten map now!
But this is honestly my favourite map too get! Tight, intense fights, and there is a clear front line!

Thanks! Oh man, Narvik is rarely seen these days for me too... I think that one might have dropped off early because people burned out playing it so much in the multiple pre-launch betas.

Out of all the infantry close quarters bf maps this was my least hated.

*Operation Underground* has been the most searched for map of Amy sweat since it's release.
The start of Rotterdam CQ suffers a drastic player exit as players go search for another Underground or Al Marj/Arras to get them back into the map.
It's BFv's linear map for intense high kill infantry games. A rehash of Operation Metro.
As someone mentioned above, on Tactical CQ, Narvik is the title that would fit the title for _Forgotten about_ due to experienced players leaving at the end of Devastation rather than suffer the slow paced, snow map with bad layout leading to too many players shying away from objectives, bombers facing flags and tanks positioned to shoot across the map with little counter.

I love bfV and bf1 so much. I was honestly so sad when they decided to move from working on BfV to 2042. One of the worst decisions they ever made.
Shame BFV ended support so quickly and then we got 2042, it had a lot of changes I actually enjoyed. As much as I adore BF4 and BF1, BFV had a more deliberate and slower pace that I loved.
Portal deserved better, they could have been dropping content for years to come. I’d have happily bought Portal as its own game if they’d kept updating it and adding old content.
BattleField 5 has been forgotten in general, but I love everything about it
It's still beating 2042's daily player count by almost 3x on Steam alone lol - I wonder if consoles are helping to prop up 2042?

Nah bruh you gotta be kidding me. This map, Panzerstorm and Iwo Jima are some of the most popular maps in Asia region.
If i see this map coming up in rotation, i usually leave the game and find another server. The only part of this map i like is the C building
Don't think this map is forgotten, I've had a lot of fun on this one whenever I get the hidden flamethrower pickup, especially as the germans, you can basically stop the enemies advance by yourself!

I've been spawn camped and spawn camped as the Allies multiple times, The section of the map that gives me the most grief is the mid point for what ever reason

Oh yes! I haven't played enough for any video coverage yet but my PC can handle DayZ at 4K/60 FPS+ just fine.

It's a map that is played often in Oceania servers.
I don’t think operation underground was a forgotten map because me and friends played the hell out of it on breakthrough, the maps I never played is halvøy and the lofoten islands, because me and friends play breakthrough, and grand operations mostly, I play on Xbox maybe for other systems don’t play operation underground in bfv
I also would say that Lofoten islands is a forgotten map since it is only in TDM I believe

Worst map in bf history
It really isn't. It's simply linear and infantry only, hence higher skilled players and the use of meta weapons stands out.
Exactly the same as how Operation Metro on BF3 and Operation Locker on BF4 were the most played maps for sweats aiming for high kill games, this is BFv's variant.
Quite funny when you see the lower tier experienced players resort to shotguns or Type 2a 😂
