@@assamarzx yeah i saw a 1660 super for 300 on newegg which wasn't bad but honestly just wait and with this build its very out dated i would get a ryzen 3600 or a intel cpu like a 10400 or 11400 better than a ryzen 2600 then the graphics card i would get a 2060 non super or just buy a 1660 super but a 2060 gives better performance for 1080p if your going to play games like at 1080p or just buy a prebuilt and change the psu usually

Building a pc was so confusing until I watched this, this video makes everything make sense
DO I Need To Be SAVED?
God is holy. No sin will ever enter his presence, for “righteousness and justice are the foundation of his throne” (Psalm 97:2).
Humanity is sinful. “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23).
Sin separates all people from God. “Your iniquities have made a separation between you and your God, and your sins have hidden his face from you” (Isaiah 59:2).

CAN I BE SAVED?
God sent his Son to be your Savior. “In this is love, not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins” (1 John 4:10).
The living Savior invites sinners to receive him “Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28)
Forgiveness of sins and salvation can be yours today. “ For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, that he might bring us to God” (1 Peter 3:18).
HOW CAN I BE SAVED?
Agree with God that you are a lost sinner unable to save yourself. “God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8)
Believe that Jesus Christ died for your sins and ask him to be your Savior. “To all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God” (John 1:12).
Confess the Lord Jesus Christ. “If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved (Romans 10:9)
“Truly truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life. He does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life”( John 5:24).

For people buying this build it is important to know that this does not come with WiFi so you must be able to access an Ethernet connection for the setup! After the setup you can purchase a usb WiFi adapter!
or simply get a motherboard with wifi on it

@@SkidudeCR you can't use wifi. You'll have to use your router and connect a lan cable from your PC to your router.
Josh schmitt If you usually connect to your internet using WIFI, this build, or more specifically this motherboard is not able to. You can get a PCI-E Network Card and attach it to the motherboard though. You will then able to use Wifi as per normal. Of course this results in additional costs to your budget

Edit: I got the tower built in about 3 hours, I am currently typing from it. I installed Windows 10 from Joey's tutorial over installing it on an USB. The build met its expectations, and is very good for a starter. This is my first time building a PC and I would highly recommend it, unless you have another budget to spend. Such as a better build, then I'd recommend it. I downloaded Fortnite seeing that it was free, and also I will be testing out its ability for editing software and music software. I'm hoping to try Halo MCC to see the difference in graphics.

Built this with my son's as their Christmas presents. I used a a higher end SSD (500gb) and a Barracude 2TB Internal HD for storage, but for the most part used everything else on the list. All in it was about $950. Had a nervous moment or two when booting up, but it's running perfect. Thanks for the tutorial, you helped make 2 little boys Christmas (and dad).

Just ordered the parts a while ago and their coming in a week, i'll come back and edit this comment when the build is finished and i'll talk about my thoughts.
Edit: I'm sorry for taking so long to update this comment because I got addicted to the pc and I was just playing games a little too much. On another note, the pc build went great, though i did take a bit more time on some parts of the build than others, it wasn't anything difficult (you'll be able to do it easily). The parts were super easy to add to my cart on amazon since he had them all linked and there were no problems at all. The way he explained it was really well done and now i have a great gaming pc. Sorry if this didn't help at all since i'm not good at giving reviews but as you could tell i had a great time building and following Joey's instructions and i had no problems with the build or the installation and setup process.

I built a pc last year around the same time. It was indeed the worst time to get into pc gaming with rx 580’s selling for $400+ while constantly out of stock and 16gb ram $200. You were lucky to find a 580 at stock price which was around $260, and they sold out in minutes no joke. I wish I waited until this year to build it, you guys can really find bargains now

I have a tip for you. Buy some minor parts now like the power supply, motherboard, and storage drives, and then on black friday or cyber monday, buy the CPU, memory, and GPU when the prices drop. But make sure to do it in the morning on those days before its gone by the end of the day.

And the reason I say to buy some of the minor parts now before buying the bigger components is before Christmas arrives, a lot of items will go out of stock before you know it and shipping and handling around Christmas season would slow down due to the amount of traffic people buying online creating the congestion for items and *DEMANDS* for shipping. Just to give you a heads up.

As someone who as built this PC 4 years ago, I can say that it still does an amazing job in 2023, however, it is time for an upgrade. Thank you Crater for helping me build my first gaming pc!
Lol I built this one too and it's held up great but bg3 melted the gpu
He never indept on how to control the rgb lighting. The Utility drivers were not same when I built this pc 3 years ago and still don't know until now.

Hey man, first of all - cool vid.
I just wanna share some information about installing windows properly.
At 15:10 you selected the SSD which is all fine but your SSD was not connected to the first SATA port. That's why the HDD is on top of the list. That's basicly not a problem but when you install windows on the SSD and have another SSD/HDD on a SATA port that comes before your SSD, it will install partitions onto the other HDD (which are crucial for booting windows).
So if you would remove the HDD at any time or replace it, then your Windows will not boot up, even its installed on the SSD, because it will not find the system-partition that's located on the other drive.
I noticed this, because after you selected the SSD and pressed next, a window poped up, that it will install other partitions, before starting the installation and that happens when your windows drive is not on the first SATA port - otherwise it will go straight into installtion.
So, always make sure your windows drive is plugged to the first port (on most boards its SATA port 0).

Edit: Note: You can see the "system reserved" partition at 18:22 on the hardrive. That partition should be on the ssd. ;)

My interest is ment to be super fast fiber except it's faster but it only works in half the house and that's if it stays connected which it hardly does and for some reason the internet is better outside that inside near it so yeah sounds like we are screwed. 👍

Just finished this build after watching this video 20 times in the past year 1/2. I upgraded to 16 gbs of ram and changed the cpu to AMD Ryzen 5 3600 since it's pretty cheap. Runs great. The case changed since the video so u may have to mount your SSD differently.
