@@aramirez15942 case issue, maybe you need extra fans, maybe you room is too hot, dont put it on the ground/carpet. If nothing helps, try getting another CPU cooler
He's pretty fucking stupid. It's as if he only looks at the benchmarks and prices, not counting any features, future proofing or anything like that. He literally only looked up the prices and said fuck it this is my next 700$ build.
THANK YOU JOEEEYYYYYYY I built this computer and it runs like a dream for literally everything Ive played on it so far ♥ For anyone who's wondering- It's VERY worth it!! If you buy EVERYTHING that Joey has listed then you'll run a higher price range than 700. But if you stick with just the basics that you need for the build then you should stay right around the advertised price! (like, I dont think you NEED extension cables and stuff... but man do the white cables just look so nice...) I built it step by step while watching the video and everything went smoothly! The only things I did different was 1. I put a wifi card in mine and 2. I used a usb led strip because I just so happened to find it at the dollar store for $5 while shopping for something else lol I even followed his guide for installing windows and everything just went so smoothly I almost couldnt believe it
@@mandy842 I bought EVERYTHING listed and everything from amazon. The price ended up being around 900-ish dollars. But its VERY easy to knock off the extra two hundred dollars by taking out the unnecessary things such as the funko pop(of course lol), rgb strips, extention cables, and hdd (plus i got a wifi card so that could be subtracted from the total cost as well). Some things were out of stock on amazon but as far as I know you can still order them, you just wont receive them until theyre in stock. Once they were in stock, since I had already paid for them, I got my standard Prime 2 day delivery from the day that they were restocked. If you buy the bare minimums of the system you should stay right around that 700 dollar mark. Function over fashion!!
Nergal Hey uh I hate to say it but after doing days of research, with $900 you could’ve gotten a way better pc part since prices have dropped. I’m actually planning on buying a PC with the CPU being the Ryzen 3600 and a 1TB SSD (SSD is faster than HDD) , a b550 mother board and more all for $880 bucks. I wish you could’ve been like me and instead built it by finding parts rather than a RUclips video but since you’re happy with your build, that’s all that counts!
Its a learning experience I guess. You only learn through experience! I didnt find out until fairly recently that pc parts even drop in prices. I think as far as SUPER NEWBIES go, these kinds of videos are perfect for us. Gives us a very solid starting ground with a guaranteed outcome that we can learn & expand from. Im dead serious when I say that I didnt even know the difference between an ssd and an hdd when i first started this.... So having all of these parts linked & guaranteed to give me good performance for the games I play was a very comforting start because I knew there was no possible way i could make a mistake as long as i stuck to it. So now maybe in the future if I ever build another one, Ill try my hand at shopping for myself and picking out my own parts! But for now, this one runs like a dream for me and im super happy with it and really excited that I was able to build it myself♥
Can't believe i didn't build this back when prices were actually good because i have a 1650 super and a r 5 3600 pc for 500. its not bad but this would've been worth it.
You know what i like about this guy? That he builds Gaming PC that can run all games maxed out under 1000$ Not like many other youtubers who builds garbage over 10k overkill pc’s
I dont agree it's hard REALLY hard I've spent 4 days trying to find where parts go because every body is different parts and I'm already positive I broke things so I wasted $915 I'm still working on it :/ not even sure its gonna work tbh
Stannis the mannis I’m embarrassed to say that I legit shoved as much cables as I could inside and placed the lid shut 😂 It took me the whole day to set it up and even to start it. Was too exhausted and worried I would mess up something by rerooting or doing cable management
J-Hope’s Sprite make sure your cpu cooler isn’t overtightened. Mine wouldn’t boot because my cooler screws were tightened so much that it was not letting the cpu pins sit in place
JoshQwerty it turns out the power supply unit cable that the power supply came with was like kinda screwed up like it didn’t stay in so i bought a new one and it works now :)

This is the best tech Chanel because he actually has taste is how he builds his pc’s (vinyl wrap, pop figures) and he is actually GOOD at gaming so his benchmarks are very accurate.
Your criteria is wrong like if I was a good gamer and had taste in good decorations but didn't know how to build a cost-effective or even a matching setup then I am a bad tech channel but I'm not talking about this youtuber I am talking in general.
So I built this PC in October of last year. This video is a great build guide, but some things I would like to add: 1. If you want to future-proof (upgrade) get a b450 tomahawk. This motherboard (ds3h) can barely support a 3600 with a 1660ti. 2. The fan splitter is REQUIRED. There is only one fan port on the motherboard. 3. The fans are, meh. For the price, really good. But mine in particular (may be faulty,) don't have screw holes on both sides, so my intake fans were exhaust for a while. I had to SCREW the screws in. 4. This PC is damn good. It can play GTA V at high settings, 1080p, 45fps. 5. I would also get an NVME SSD, just for speed. 6. You're going to need an external Wi-Fi reader, because the PCI readers won't have enough space. 7. PC is not the quietest, so be sure you don't mind some noise. 8. If you are doing heavy work, the PC will get a little slow. I did work in Unreal Engine 4 and it struggled a bit. 9. An airflow, ATX case would be more optimized. 10. This PC will (if the market goes back to normal,) be around $815. That includes tax and shipping. 11. Watch some other PC builds as well, and pay attention. For first time builders, it gets confusing. Other than that, this PC is great! It does everything I need it to.
How much is a typical External wifi reader? Is that a standard for most PCs to run an external hard drive instead of a PCI? Sorry I don't really understand how that works
@@RatedOmni Normally an external reader will cost 15-30 dollars. I cheaped out and got a 7 dollar one. don't do that. Typically people just go wired with the ethernet port on the motherboard. I would, if you're close to your modem, go wired.
I hope this helps, but as of August 30th, this build with all the additional parts (extention cables/hard drive) will run you about 860 without shipping costs
Dat1Giraffe no it’s just that amazon changes prices all the time depending on how much they have in stock so a lot of it won’t come out to exactly 700, it could come out to more so that’s why it’s best to wait at the items lowest offer
Started RUclips because it’s my dream job and decided a core I3 wasn’t enough so after months of research I found this vid. Gpu came today and it is honestly surreal. Thanks Joey for an amazing tutorial!
I'm building this and I'm very excited, the only piece I'm missing is my motherboard it should deliver by January 11th. I should also say I'm using the RX 580 8GB instead of the GTX 1660 and I'm doing a black and white aesthetic instead of pink. I'll let you guys know what happens.
IMPORTANT: If you are experiencing game crashes for Fortnite or other games, make SURE that you do not install the latest version of the BIOS driver, the newest driver will crash all your games and cause you days of headache, not to mention you will probably try to see if there are any hardware or software problems. Just follow the instructions exactly how it is in the video and select your Bios as f42h update - 2019. This should fix the crashes *edit*: Your ram may also be faulty (like mine was) so to fix the crashing (even if your Bios is f42h) is to set the RAM overclocking speed at 3000mhz (or lower ; - keep testing at which speeds your pc works fine at, mine was 3000mhz) instead of the 3200mhz as said in the video. Overclocking ram that's faulty can cause your games and your pc to crash at random times.
SodieN Yea don’t update the bios with the recent 2020 update go ahead with the one before November 2019, everything was a good and Fortnite only crashes for me because my ram is faulty and doesn’t do well with xmp profiles (factory overclocks)
@@cornhub7080 sry i dont own a vr headset but u can look up the specs then benchmarks then the game u wish to run and it wuld show u the frames and stuff
what games do you play on this, how much did you get the gpu for, is this build loud, and is it good for upgrades? ill come back if i have more questions
@@123bellaa4 Minecraft and overwatch mainly! For the gpu i got it slighty before Covid so it was a lot cheaper. Yes, very easy to upgrade if u know how :D. finally well i dont think its too loud, but if u really want want it quit i recommend getting some 'be quiet!' fans. I've heard they're very good!
Note: Just to let you know you don’t have to plug the fans into a fan header and a molex. You can actually cut the molex and the fans will still work just fine. Just remember you might have to adjust the voltage in your bios to make leds brighter. (My experience do as you will)
Just reminiscing. This was my first PC build back in 2019 moving from a PS4 Pro (just minus the pink and custom spray paint) This was a great first experience. Props to this vid been a subscriber ever since

THANK YOU JOEEEYYYYYYY
I built this computer and it runs like a dream for literally everything Ive played on it so far ♥
For anyone who's wondering- It's VERY worth it!! If you buy EVERYTHING that Joey has listed then you'll run a higher price range than 700. But if you stick with just the basics that you need for the build then you should stay right around the advertised price! (like, I dont think you NEED extension cables and stuff... but man do the white cables just look so nice...)
I built it step by step while watching the video and everything went smoothly! The only things I did different was 1. I put a wifi card in mine and 2. I used a usb led strip because I just so happened to find it at the dollar store for $5 while shopping for something else lol
I even followed his guide for installing windows and everything just went so smoothly I almost couldnt believe it
Nergal How much was the price and did you buy all the things from amazon? I thought some items were out of stock

Joey is selling merch confirmed
Brayan Tellez 7 joe poopybum
So which giant wears XXL
His the only pc builder Ive seen that go in-depth from start to finish including downloading everything after building it
So I built this PC in October of last year.
This video is a great build guide, but some things I would like to add:
Joey back at it with the budget build bangers
This is almost exactly the list of pc parts that I wanted to get a week ago, what a coincidence!
I hope this helps, but as of August 30th, this build with all the additional parts (extention cables/hard drive) will run you about 860 without shipping costs
I added everything to my cart on amazon n it was 730 u prolly added something else
Dat1Giraffe no it’s just that amazon changes prices all the time depending on how much they have in stock so a lot of it won’t come out to exactly 700, it could come out to more so that’s why it’s best to wait at the items lowest offer
@@ItsPsy_ yall go to pc part picker and it'll give you a rundown on who has the cheapest parts

This should fix the crashes
*edit*: Your ram may also be faulty (like mine was) so to fix the crashing (even if your Bios is f42h) is to set the RAM overclocking speed at 3000mhz (or lower ; - keep testing at which speeds your pc works fine at, mine was 3000mhz) instead of the 3200mhz as said in the video. Overclocking ram that's faulty can cause your games and your pc to crash at random times.
I was just about to update lmao I've had this PC for two months now
Thank you so much
SodieN Yea don’t update the bios with the recent 2020 update go ahead with the one before November 2019, everything was a good and Fortnite only crashes for me because my ram is faulty and doesn’t do well with xmp profiles (factory overclocks)
