I have everything but table legs for my desk because IKEA was sold out. 😕 Update: My AMD Ryzen came and the box was folded. The original box of the part was damaged as well. Regret everything hopefully something changes....Tried placing the ram again, cpu is fine, graphic card is running and I remounted it. IDK what to do. Update: swapped out mother board for the b550f, correct slight bent cpu and now I’m up and running. I also got the cool master fan because that AMD cpu fan is a pain to put on.
If the cpu has broken pins on the back then yes it’s most likely unusable, I would recommend you the amd rx 5600xt as the gpu, it is around 20 percent faster than the 1660 ti and 1660 super is 15% less powerful then 1660 ti. 5600xt gpu is around 280$.(sapphire pulse) makes the best 5600xt

Is overheating a problem
I bought this and am building it. last thing i've been waiting on was the ssd card which i just got. Tried putting it in but I didn't get a little screw to screw the thing down. After years of watching pc builds. I’m going to build my first PC! I’m to hyped. I ordered all the parts today.
I got the AMD Ryzen 3600x, 700 power supply, and Samsung ssd 1tb instead of the ones listed because the parts were sold out.
Keyboard:Fnatic mini streak
Mouse:6502 from Logitech
Headphones: Hyper X cloud II pros
Monitor: Samsung Odyssey CRG5
Wish me luck! All the parts should arrive September 17, 2020 and I’m going to link a picture of my setup.
Update: My parts are going to arrive tomorrow! I have everything but table legs for my desk because IKEA was sold out. 😕
Update: My AMD Ryzen came and the box was folded. The original box of the part was damaged as well. But the part it self looks fine IDK if I should swap it out 😩
Update: No display and idk what to do. All parts are secured feeling really defeated right now.
This is going to be my first pc build 😁I’m going to buy all the parts in like 2 weeks, would it be possible to have a dual monitor setup?
If the cpu has broken pins on the back then yes it’s most likely unusable, I would recommend you the amd rx 5600xt as the gpu, it is around 20 percent faster than the 1660 ti and 1660 super is 15% less powerful then 1660 ti. 5600xt gpu is around 280$.(sapphire pulse) makes the best 5600xt
same thing with me, i just built it and i get no connection to the monitor
