    If we wanted a health care provider, we wouldn’t be here. I’ve NEVER had a health care provider suggest castor oil - why do you think that is? I understand that many people, like yourself, are looking for holistic approaches, and I definitely support that.
      While it's true that healthcare providers may not always suggest natural remedies like castor oil, it's important to be aware of both the positive and negative aspects of any treatment. @Mel Can Nourish can you use castor oil on a knee after a Total knee replacement. I'm 11 months since I had surgery, but I'm dealing with Arthrofibrosis ( scar tissue). Does castor oil helps?

    • @melcannourish
      @melcannourish  2 месяца назад

      @@m.aliciapatino5201 Yes, castor oil has been traditionally used for its potential benefits in reducing the appearance of scar tissue, including on the knee. Castor oil contains essential fatty acids, particularly ricinoleic acid, which can help moisturize the skin, reduce inflammation, and improve blood flow to the affected area.
      To use castor oil for scar tissue on the knee, you can follow these steps:
      1. Clean the affected area thoroughly with soap and water.
      2. Apply a small amount of castor oil directly to the scar tissue, gently massaging it into the skin using circular motions.
      3. Cover the area with a clean bandage or wrap, leaving it on for several hours or overnight.
      4. Repeat this process daily for several weeks or until you notice an improvement in the appearance of the scar tissue.
      However, it's important to note that the effectiveness of castor oil for scar tissue can vary depending on the severity and age of the scar, as well as individual factors like skin type and overall health. Hope this helps.

      1) Soak a clean cotton cloth in castor oil.
      2) Lie down on your back and place the cloth on the right side of your abdomen, over your gallbladder area.
      3) Cover the cloth with plastic wrap or a towel to prevent staining your clothes.
      4) Place a hot water bottle or heating pad over the pack to increase absorption.
      5) Relax and leave the pack on for 30-60 minutes.
      6) Gently remove the pack and wipe off any excess oil with a towel.
      It's important to note that while castor oil packs may help relieve pain and inflammation associated with gallbladder stones, they should not be used as a substitute for medical treatment. If you're experiencing persistent pain or other symptoms related to gallbladder stones, be sure to consult with your healthcare provider.

      @@naheedakhtar4815 You can use it for 30-60 minutes at a time, once or twice per day. Your choice. You would use it until you notice changes. Good luck!

  • @architecturalheritage

    Please do not use castor oil packs to soften the hard tissue after an operation stich even when healed, it does not soften the tissue it will collect fat under the skin and you will end up with fatty necrosis lump. Never use it on eye lids either it will block the eyelash pores. Wishing you all good health.

    Has anyone used castor oil for kidney stone pain or elimination?

      @@JesusSaves-JohnKJB Many have but haven’t reported back on results. I would say try it but if you begin to experience discomfort, stop immediately. Also note that this is a natural remedy that requires consistency and patience. Best of luck and keep me posted.

    I read that castor oil packs on the stomach was OK. I’ve seen many videos showing this as well. (?)

      It is perfectly fine on the stomach but just not during pregnancy and menstrual cycles.

      I've been doing that and got cramps and can't stop peeing. I am also in the luteal phase and just learned that we also shouldn't use it in luteal phase when trying to conceive. Now I'm very worried.

    • @melcannourish
      @melcannourish  9 месяцев назад

      @@neetuh4850 Don't worry. Just stop doing it. To be honest, the window of time is short if you're trying to conceive. You really shouldn't do it during your period. Although some say it's fine, I wouldn't as it draws out blood creating additional bleeding. After your period up until ovulation is fine to use it but as soon as ovulation occurs, do not. Everyone ovulates at different times. Some shortly after their period and others ovulate late. You would need to know your exact timing. It may not be worth doing it until you no longer are trying.

    Thanks so much, watching them melt away within 48 hours felt so good, and yes, I used what I mentioned the other day. It actually took a bit more to make them totally disappear, I just go’ogled Melissa Thanderski and days after I still can't believe the comfort.

    Would it work for a beast cancerous lump? I had biopsy but I am
    Young no husband and they told be they will either remove entire or half of my breast. No one can promise me what they will do until I go on operation and no one will wait for another one . I will not relay on some oncologist / medical doctor who will see and want to just cut it all . I prefer to die than loose a breast. I want to use patches to make it smaller ? No one will

    • @melcannourish
      @melcannourish  9 месяцев назад +2

      Hi Carolina. I'm sorry to hear this. You can definitely try using it to reduce lump size but of course, there is no guarantee. I recommend you be consistent with it if you decide to try it. Please know that castor oil packs are not cancer treatments and DO NOT replace treatments recommended by your MD/Oncologist. Castor Oil packs can be used in conjunction to treatments or prior to treatment but not in lieu of them. I hope this makes sense. Best of luck to you.

    • @melcannourish

      Because it naturally pulls toxins out of the body and within this process it will pull more blood as well making you bleed a ton more than you normally would.
