I really can't get over the fact that the new X one doesn't have an iDrive knob. I don't like controlling my vehicle with the screen. It's more distracting for me so it looks like I'm gonna be sticking with the second generation. Currently i drive a 2019 sdrive 28i and i love it!!
thinking the same but it has an AWESOME voice control though. You can use it for litterally everthing. Just say "my butt is freezing" and it turns up the heating seats. You can even say thinks like "turn dowm the left back window, but only half"
Hi Nice Bmw
After driving it for about 2 weeks now, 2 things irk me:
1. Auto stop start. Can only be disabled by choosing Sport mode. That means I'm losing the efficient mpg for city driving. And you cannot change the ambient light color.
2. The body roll feels a bit too aggressive. It sure feels alive, but it feels like the car is trying to throw me away when making a turn lol.
Everything else, I can tolerate. Although it's strange that you cannot choose the fan directions. The fans are either all on or off. Cannot choose to blow in leg only, or body only.
I mean, you can turn stop start off in the idrive menu so no, you don’t need to put it in sport to deactivate but you do need to manually do it every time you start the car. Sucks there isn’t a button anymore for it. About the ambient light color, you should be able to change it I’m not sure why you say you can’t.

It’s a sensor that requires soft touch to activate, he was pressing a little too aggressively 🤣
