    Today on Hiking Dancer:
RR and Lil’ Chap woke up sick.
    They hiked 19 miles.
RR thanked her subscribers for helping her pass 10,000 in number.
The question of to do or to not do music was answered. Definitely answered 😎.
Chap made up a song while sitting on tyvek.
We learned that some people are stupid and have no regard for private property.
We are reminded that stupid people make life hard for smart people.
We got to watch perseverance in action.
I was reminded of why I’ve followed and loved this channel from its inception.

Hee hee, I like the positive potato. Music, no music, I don't care. I like that your videos show a variety of stuff, much of it mundane, because, of course, a lot of a hike is pretty mundane. Ohhhhh, look, Hammer!! A fellow Pennsylvanian. Go, Hammer! I am following his thru hike also.

As a subscriber, I'm kinda likin' dis here channel right dere. You should have lots more of us before too long. As for the music, you seem to be a good show runner. When it's there, it seems completely appropriate, and when there isn't any music, there is enough going on, either with your narration or just unfolding events, that I don't miss the music. So, it's a good mix. Whatever seems natural seems to work.

Julianne, You're a better woman than I am. I don't think I could hike 19 miles if I was sick. I do understand why you did it, but darn. The scenery was great, really pretty. I am thoroughly enjoying your videos. You and Li'l Chap are doing really well. Hang in there. I hope you got to feeling a little better, at least. Did you make it to PVC in time for breakfast? Take care of each other. Try to hike close so you can keep an eye on each other since you're both not feeling well. Stay safe. See you in the morning.

Hey, you are a dancer and music is part of you. Keep doing what you are doing. I remember that water source well. I too made the mistake of carrying my entire backpack down to it. After that I would leave my backpack at the top and just take a ditty bag with my water bottles, filter, and a snack down. With regard to the closed oasis, I recall that she didn't feel safe continuing to stay there due to meth addicts breaking in; nothing to do with hikers.

Sorry you're both feeling sick! Must have been from over exposure to fresh air while you were Cowboy Camping!! ;p ;p Good choice to nero/zero in Idyllwild. Makes me wonder how close I was to missing you all on the trail or in Idyllwild. Saturday (4/13), I hiked from the Cedar Springs Trail to the PCT and then out the Spitler Peak Trail. I met 3 PCTers heading down the Spitler Peak Trail and ended up giving them a ride into Idyllwild. Anyway, hope you enjoyed the zeros as much as others are enjoying your journey. Safe travels and Happy Trails.

I prefer videos with no music, only because most of the music backgrounds are inserted into the video at too high of a volume. It hurts my ears and I have to fiddle around to adjust my volume back and forth to accommodate the sound levels of both the speaker’s voice AND the music. I don’t know if music options are limited, but I’ve never heard classical background music that would accentuate the beauty of the scenery. Aaron Copeland music, for instance, would be lovely as a backdrop to the stunning vistas, or the Grand Canyon Suite by Ferde Grofe.

Go a bit slower and maybe you’ll shake it off in 24 hours, looks like you both are otherwise healthy. It could also be a bit of allergies as everything is blooming none of which grow where you two live. Tough times don’t last but tough people like you two do! 5000 feet is also getting to the zone where altitude matters with your 02 saturation which makes you more tired so lots of things working on you.
