      from what I recall from various Q&A's and stuff over the years, Megami33 and Hnilmik would've been Trunks and Goten respectively (Lani and Kaiser stated they wanted that element that they were playing the offspring of the mothers they played), I think Lanipator would've been Buu... he's broken Kaiser doing too many impressions of Buu, Gohan would've been the Gohan VA seen in Super Android 13, and there was also talks about Vegeta calling Goten "Kaka-tot" and Kaiser openly said when Gohan would go up against Buu, Buu would mock Gohan and say "What's the matter? Need an adult?" to which Gohan would punch back and say "No... I *am* an adult"

    @pom8238 2 года назад +113

    Yes Goku really did take Cell to King Kai's planet in the original show. When using instant transmission over long distances the user needs another ki signature to lock on to. The only person that Goku could think of in the moment that would be out of the way of Earth was King Kai. Fun fact, they still haven't brought King Kai back to life since then.
    Also, yes you can charge a Kamehameha with one hand, but it's probably a lot less effective. However Gohan had so much raw power at this point that even injured and one handed he was more than capable of matching Cell's full power. He was actually significantly holding back up until that point, and in the actual show it took Goku convincing him that he shouldn't worry about collateral damage for him to unleash his full power on Cell. Add in a distraction from Vegeta, and you get a complete victory for Gohan.
    Goku's reasoning does actually make a fair bit of sense when only factoring in enemies from DBZ and not OG Dragon Ball. Raditz only showed up on Earth because he knew that his brother would be there, therefore if Goku hadn't been on Earth Raditz never would've shown up. If Raditz hadn't arrived, then Vegeta and Nappa never would've learned of the dragon balls and would have had no reason to go to Earth. If the Saiyan saga didn't happen then Frieza never learns about the dragon balls either, and never would've gone to Namek to get them, and therefore never would've gone to Earth after losing on Namek. And finally if Goku hadn't been around to completely dismantle the Red Ribbon Army in OG Dragon Ball, then Dr. Gero probably wouldn't have made the androids or Cell to kill Goku. An argument could be made that if Goku didn't destroy the Red Ribbon Army that they could have conquered Earth, but that isn't guaranteed, and also that isn't a world ending threat, which is what Goku is ultimately concerned about when making the decision to stay dead.
    Another thing in this episode is whether Bulma could have removed Android 17 and 18's bombs. It's possible, however it's important to remember that they are both mostly organic, and android 16 was entirely robotic, so the margin of error is much slimmer, and Bulma has far less experience with surgery that with robotics. So while it's possible that she could have removed their bombs, it's probably best to just avoid taking the risk and have Shenron deal with it instead.
    Not so fun fact about that Android 16 picture at the end. Toriyama has stated before that Android 16 didn't actually go to the afterlife, because he didn't have a soul. Teamfourstar decided to change that, and most agree that it's a good change.

    DBZ Abridged has the most satisfying end of anything.
    19:23 He wasn't running on the Snake Way, if that's what you mean. King Yemma is at the start of it.
    20:27 And this is what pretty much everyone ignores. People love to go "Goku is bad dad cause he'd rather be dead", but at like half the villains showed up specifically because of him. Piccolo was born just to kill Goku. And what happens the one day he comes back? Buu happens, that's what. Then Beerus comes around looking for him, he really is a magnet of danger.
    22:33 Nothing. He was just goofing around with stuff like "pearl necklace for his girlfriend" or something.
    23:03 16 is an androind, a full robot, you can just turn him off and on again. You sure she can handle all organic stuff?

    The thing about Cell is that he really did have the perfect dna combination (pun partially intended) based on what Toriyama had developed for DB races at the time. Frieze’s race has insane durability and survivability, Namekians have the quick healing factor, and Saiyans get a power boost after healing from near-death. Combine the three and you have something that’s incredibly difficult to kill and if you fail, it heals fast and gets even stronger when it does. If Gohan’s last push didn’t do the trick, that would’ve been it because Cell probably would’ve gotten even stronger again.
