    Leuke video weer. Idd, uiterlijk is natuurlijk smaak gebonden. Ik heb zelf ook een 1300gs, die vond ik aan de hand van de eerste foto's toen ook niet gelijk mooi. Zo is het me ten aanzien van de GSA inmiddels ook vergaan...... In real life veel mooier. Ik heb op een ASA versie proef gereden. Voor mij een geweldige optie..... Je opmerking over prijs is denk ik niet helemaal juist..... in die zin, ik heb via de BMW configurator een 1300 GSA (met vele opties) samengestelt voor EUR 36.100,- Als je die in de "gewone" GS samenstelt (met dezelfde opties), komt de configurator uit op EUR 35.600,- Ik heb in ieder geval vorige week besloten, na 9000 hele fijne kilometers op de GS, te gaan switchen naar een GSA met ASA.

      Interessant dank je wel! Kan ook te maken hebben met recente prijsverhogingen. Heel veel geluk met de GSA! Sowieso een goede keuze!

    Nice general overview. I would like you to try it with the ASA version added because I think that is a big deal on a bike. It might even change your mind one way or the other about how you like or love the bike. (or don't like for that matter).

    Thank you for the video. The bike on this green color and with the billets parts and the golden is alright but for me the best composition of paint and looks is the triple black. Because this bike is like a war tank, so the dark black and grey paint is the right color for this machine. On the standard 1300 GS I prefer the trophy colors. The matrix front light is much more well integrated on the whole bike here than on the standard GS, but the bike you tested has the short windshield and the long one suits this GSA better. The design of the bike isn’t intended to be pretty. The target is to feel and look solid, imposing. The beauty attributes are linked to brutal stability, confidence inspiring and trustworthy. It’s like you said it has a lot of road presence, unlike the standard GS this will be comfortable for two large people on longer rides and it’s of course more than enough to go to your favorite neighborhood cafe for a nice coffee but also to another one you choose to go a 1000 kms away from home. There’s the beauty of it. The potential and the capacity beyond our regular routes and routines. This is a bike that if you buy it, you’re defying the short radius diameter of your life. I do like a lot the standard GS, it’s a capable bike, and a fun bike if you desire to ride it in a more adventurous manner, but this GSA in some aspects is the same bike, just on steroids . If I had the 1300 GS, I probably would trade it for this but with the ASA system incorporated. Then I would feel truly satisfied. Try the clutch less version. I think it’s a true upgrade. Ride safe, and yes, ride the bike more and let us know what else it inspires you to say about how it rides differently from the 1300 GS, namely the behavior in city traffic does it compare well?

    I think this is a great looking bike. Makes the R1300 GS look dated already. Never owned a GS so don't have a mental block comparing it to one I've owned before. A beast!

      I am riding the 1300GS now, no issues at all. Hopefully it stays that way.

    Je gaat natuurlijk niet je eigen motor [1300gs] afkraken….ik heb op dezelfde motor gereden[dusseldorp alkmaar]] niets mis mee.

      Zeker technisch niks mis mee maar kan absoluut niet wennen aan het uiterlijk en ben hartstikke eerlijk over mijn motoren hoor
