I don't know. Usually they use sandbags. And usually it's not expected that anything will go wrong, not even on a rest run. This is a very rare thing in the video. Maybe it's for an educational movie and they wanted some extra spice?

This "simulation" is honestly awful, and the description is so hilariously misleading I honestly can't read it as anything other than bad faith "Look how scary this giant metal thing is!"
The roller coaster would have to be falling apart and so under-serviced for this to happen I'd assume it was in Greece.
Also the acceleration on the launch track is just so... awful. The track itself doesn't even have a launch section on it, and the coaster just starts accelerating at such an unnatural speed.
HELP WE DONT HAVE RIDES LIKE THESE IN GREECE...

I have been to HersheyPark’s Fahrenheit attraction before (It was my first roller coaster ride) and I remember this video thinking that I will definitely die because by the time I get to the top of the 90 degree angle hill, I will fall out, so when I got there I closed my eyes for the whole ride while screaming like crazy! But then it was over and I definitely don’t want to ride that again 😮💨😮💨😮💨😫😫😫
