Best tip I've got before starting is go and get your legs waxed.
A few days later start epilating. Use it from then on every 3 or so days for the first few weeks, then go once a week until you want to stop and let your hairs grow.
Brilliant!
I thought this epilator can remove the hair root altogether, such that they wont grow again?
FINALLY SOMEONE WITH REAL HAIR
Ikr!
WTF U JUDGER
I feel this comment. She's even Indian, like me
I know I really appreciated that she showed her hair too. I always chuckle at hair removal product commercials that don’t actually show any body hair. lol!
@@hastidandelior2760 I think she meant she appreciates someone showing their body hair because most hair removal stuff doesn’t.
- buy an epilator with cord (requires no lengthy charging)
General:
- use at night (after epilating skin is sensitive, avoid sun)
- epilate when the hair is short (is less painful) and 1x/week (so that it never grows too long)
- can be used all over the body, even face (do patch test first, in case your skin is too sensitive)
Before:
- take shower in warm water (opens pores, makes less painful)
- scrub before epilating (avoids infections, ingrown hairs, bumps)
- clean skin (no lotion/powder) before epilating (clogs pores and epilator)
During:
- pull your skin when epilating (less painful)
- move opposite of growth direction, move slowly, hold at 90°
After:
- apply ice, aloe vera gel, ... after epilating
- scrub the day after epilating (avoids ingrown hairs)
Correction: buy an epilator with the cord not cordless 👌🙂

I have a braun epilator I’ve been using it for the past 5 yrs and it has reduced the number of hair.I’ve gotten amazing results.I see people complaining about the pain but after sometime it doesnt hurt at all...you build tolerance.
I dont feel any pain. But my problem was having 99% of the hair as ingrown hairs
Hey...are you using the cordless one?
Is body epilator can use on face also??
Bal mote to nahi honge??
@@Nadin1998 how did you reduced the problem of ingrown hairs?
@little_me181 you need to exfoliate the skin regularly to remove dead skin cells and sebum build up around hair follicles
It took two years to gain the confidence of using epilator.. believe me this is wonderful.. and must have

This everything a product review should be. Direct and informative. Good job girl! 👍👍👍❤
Prachi it's always worth watching you, you're content is so different and it always helps me to do something better.
Thanks for suggesting epilator 👍👍
You moved straight to the point. Subscribed.
I would love to change my hair removing routine to an epilator because it sounds like a more economical and less wasteful method. I would surely buy one when I start earning
I agree with u, waxing is super expensive.. N I was in need of a vid on epilators.. Tysm Prachi.. 😘
Hi prachi, love the way you are so honest. And despite few people doubting your honesty, you still take it in positive way and explain with a smile and the same honesty in next video. In this social media age where people get irked over anything and everything, abuse, overreact and what not, people like you who maintain dignity and calmness while responding to negativity is RARE. So I applaud you for that. God bless you baby!
And yes congratulations for hitting 1million..
Very informative. I love how she explained everything. Following her ❤️
Took forever to find a true review that was helpful. All the other videos I've come across were just reactions to using it for the first time. This video was very helpful, I didn't know exfoliating the skin would help. Thank you so much!!!
This is a very informative video. You are awesome! Well spoken and beautiful!!! 🔥
Hi Prachi. Thanks to this video of yours, I bought my self an epilator, Philips satinelle Bre235.i was quiet sceptical about buying one but am quite happy with the results and now I don't need waxing anymore.
Thanks again. Lots of love to you.
You are so real. All you care about is whether you can convey the smallest of the smallest thing to us. Thank you so much!
I never comment on any RUclips videos, but this time I was urged to do the same, the way you explained about using an epilator, it became so easy to be adapted to the same, I used to get red bumps due to wax heat and had to do continuous icing to prevent that after waxing, epilator came as a boon for me, and I got the courage to use that, after watching your video, it didn't pain much, thank you so much Prachi 💙
COULDN'T THANK YOU MORE! Very informative, clear explanation and I can relate very well. Been having troubles with hair for more than 10 years and I haven't found any solution til I saw your video. Again, thank you! ❤️😭
Wow, you are so sweet. Thank you for the useful tips. I am using my epilator for more than 10 years. But because i have very little and barely seen hair, I never bothered to think on some of my problems with the epilator. Now I know why I face those problems. My next epilator session will be so much fun thanks to you gurl!! :D
Im turkish too lol
Man am I the only one who's on the same page as her?
I've been using epilators for about 7 years now. I've had a corded and a cordless one. She's so right about the cordless ones, they spoil easily. I use mine on my face too.
However literally every other epilator review I've seen discourages people cause they scream about the pain and honestly it's not painful at all. You just need to know the right way to use it.
:)
Which epilator u have been using???
MusicForLivin which epilator would you recommend being on a bogey? and how often do you buy a new one?
Right? I love them. They last way longer than shaving

Thank you so much for making this video... It's my first time so i have been searching for how to use it and you've explained it so nicely...
This is very informative. I used an epilator for the first time and it didn't hurt at all, partly because it allowed wet epilation. I am very convinced that epilator is for me because of how quick, efficient and inexpensive it is.
Wow Prachi !!! I was going to search some hacks as I brought this after watching Ur video 😍😍and wanted to know how to use it in correct way also the hack !!! Thanks in tons😘😘😘😘😘

This is so informative! I feel like I can't trust the sponsored videos on epilators but thanks so much for giving your experience and tips after years of testing and use!
Using arms and legs is cake walk but using it for bristles on my face on the other hand... (even close shave leaves grey shade) . The pain can make me reveal National secrets.
Thank you for the great review and all the tips! You convinced me to go for one. Fingers crossed it goes well for me!
Omg girl u gave all the info so in depth & very clearly without saying unnecessary things like others. It was worth watching👌
Well... You can also use sensitive head cap its 0% pain... And works the same way
Really helpful video. I was so skeptical about this. Now i think i might give it a try.
And u r easy on d eyes,u know. Thats wat i like abt ur vids.. not overdoing ur looks and all. Minimal makeup.. feels like some friend, just sharing her experience. Keep up d gud work😍
Epilators hurt at first. Use as she said take a shower or bath to open pores. Then Wow face scub remove dead skin. Then epilate. Slowly. Then use Lacto calamine to moisturize Then use the scub again 2 days later i epilate my legs and underarms. And only have to use one time a month. After epilating 5 years
I have to say this is one of the best beauty channels so far. Love it thanks

Let's support this creator and watch her video in full with ads instead of skipping ahead or jumping to the commenters who have laid it all out there.
I had Philips Satinelle in 2000's and used it exclusively for underarms. In 2015 I bought Braun cordless. I love the freedom it gives me to sit anywhere and epilate. Biggest pro is that these costlier models can be used wet also. I literally put all epilator heads and attachments in water with dettol and sanitize everything. Also it comes with a trimmer, shaver, smaller heads etc. which makes it so easy to use for bikini areas and upper lip. Just stretch your skin properly.
Hey which one is better… Philips or Braun?
Please make a tutorial fr underarm n facial hair removal using epiliator..
Thnks..
U r awesome.. Love u!😘
Nice video. I have bought it and also recommended for few of my friends. We all love it.
I'm new to your channel. I discovered this channel around 2-3days back and I'm so much impressed already. It's like whatever tip i need, I'm firstly searching if Prachi is having any video on this topic. And if I find your video oh I'm sorted then!! Thank You.

Omg, thank you so much! I just started epilating recently and your advice has helped me. Thank you! This is embarrassing but I didn’t realize I could take the safety cap off 😂
Excellent tutorial! I am ready to buy my first epilator. I can deal with the pain but the ingrown hairs was my main concern. Thank u for taking the time to do this video ur advice was very helpful😁
Update: i love my epilator! I followed all instructions on this tutorial but i use tea tree oil after to prevent ingrown hairs. Within time u will get use to the pinching feel but so worth it! Especially if u struggle with having to shave all the time i will never use anything else.
Hey.. does tea tree oil really prevents ingrown hairs?

Congrats prachi on hitting 1M! Very useful video as always!
omg thanks for this video it's all I needed! I love the fact that you actually showed how you epilate yourself WITH your hair because other youtubers show it when they already are epilated and don't have anymore hair on their skin. Also, you're so attractive!
i love your videos. i keep repeating because you give so much positivity
Just the video I needed! Thanks for all the information and tips!
Uhh, I am very much into the topic.
Generally I never had a shower before using it, moisture causes the epilator to litterally jump! Better wait the next day to improve this problem.
There are two most important steps:
1. apply a specific lotion after each session to restore hydration and reduce redness; and
2. don't forget to sanitize the rotating head of your epilator (mine is a Silk-épil so it can be removed for better cleaning. In any case, rubbing its tweezers with a cotton cloth and alcohol provides good results). I said cotton cloth because it doesn't break or gets stuck into mechanisms like other materials.
I'm reading a lot of comments about being so painful that stopped using it.
Well, it's true. My very first time was terrible, it took a person to hold me safely in place and another one doing the job! And for the following 8 or 9 years I hadn't been able to manage the issue on my own (mon had still to shave me, but at least the pain was slightly manageable and I could maintain a certain composure!). I started epilating alone at about 18 or 19 years old 😊😊
GoodMusicManiac999 Z Hi ..please let me know if the epilators are safe for Brazilian kind of bikini hair removal
@@Fireflyinair
Uhm, I guess so. I know someone who does bikini with epilators, but for me it's too painful there. I'm sorry not to be more exhaustive!
She means take a shower so that the warmth expands the pores, and then DRY off completely. You shouldn't epilate while the skin is still wet
Hey which brand epilator you use?

Hey prachi... 🙂 I just love watching your videos again n again because i enjoy ur videos... U r so real..
Major kudos for actually showing yourself using the epilator on your leg hair.
I agree with all your tips. I also prefer epilators, but the only inconvenient is that I always have ingrown hair that iritates my skin and it's painful. it's awful! But it lasts just a few days, so it's totally worth it (:

Thanks to this video I decided I want to start epilating. I just bought mine today and I came back to this video to recheck on tips. Thank you!
Can u please share ur experience..
@Ashima sharma Sure! I use it non stop when i got used to the pain, but developed foliculitus so I had to stop. After that here are some tips: use warm shower/keep warm towels before epilating since when i was done with one leg the other leg´s pores were closed. Or if you have time do one leg, then the other the next day. Scrub gently regularly. Do not use irritants like perfumes in lotions, try aloe gel. If your leg is too hairy like mine, try to trim if the hair is too long or else the epilator will only cut the hair instead of removing it completely
Your tips are really useful. I have brought an epilator after watching this video. While it does a good job, but just like waxing, in epilating also few hairs remain. You have to spend a lot of time on it.
This is all I wanted to know..😍
Thank you Prachiiii.. It helped alot..👍
