Great Video! Got me super excited. I noticed you mentioned there are 4 input ports for the F16V3 as well. I noticed they were analog ports AN1....AN4. I am having issues configuring the F16V3 in the same way that you shared. Have you had luck configuring the analog input triggers on the F16V3? Would you be willing to do share another video on how to configure the triggers on the F16V3? Thanks!

I am trying to figure out how to set up a push button for visitors to turn on a radio if they are walking by and want to hear the show. Can this same procedure be applied to a Kulp k16A-B that uses the beaglebone black? If you wanted to run an fm radio for example from the relay, would you only hook ground and gpio pin 40 to the relay and add 115VAC to the other input side of the relay where your power is supplied from the PI in the video, and then connect your 115ACV radio to the other side of the relay assuming the radio uses less than 10 amps which I am confident it would. Could you show the same video using the beaglebone? Thanks.
Hi Larry, What I show on this video is possible because the Flacon Controller has 4 input Ports that can then be configured to take some actions on Falcon Player (Start/Stop Playlist, volume up/down, Skip song, etc) running on a Raspberry Pi. The Kulp does not come with input ports. But if you want to turn a radio on/off you do not even need to have the Kulp or a Falcon involved. You can do it exactly as you say by using a 115VAC relay. No need to connect anything to the pixel controllers. You can even use something like this...

@@trevilights Thanks for the prompt reply. I see how that could work if the radio is tuned to the fm broadcast frequency and it will just come on and off if power is supplied. Good simple idea. Thanks as usual.
@@larrytrimble3803 Yes, or you can use the switch to connect/disconnect a speaker wire that is always playing.

Hola Eliud. Gracias por escribir. Me da gusto que te hayas animado. En que pais te encuentras? Puedes empezar planeando que elementos quieres incluir en tu show. Por ejemplo, un Mega Arbol, Copos de nieve, Figuras cantantes,etc. Te advierto que es mucho trabajo manual ya que los pixeles se compran por separado y hay que insertarlos en los elementos uno por uno. Necesitaras fuentes de poder, cables, conectores, etc. Vaya, toma tiempo, dinero y esfuerzo. Pero es muy gratificante. Puedes empezar por comprar un controlador y algunos pixeles y empezar a aprender como se conectan y como relizar los efectos en xlights. Con todo gusto te puedo ayudar. En mi sitio web trevilights.com puedes separar tiempo para una video llamada y platicar al respecto y asesorarte. Asi es como trabajo yo.

Hola Jesus. El V4 tiene Wifi, pero solo es para accesar a su configuración, lo cual ya es ventaja. Pero todavía necesitas usar el puerto ethernet para conectarlo a un Raspberry Pi para usar el Falcon Player. O puedes usarlo en Modo "Player" como lo muestro en este video (solo lo tengo en ingles).

hi there i just want to make sure i understand right before i connect my second power supply to my controller i have one to port 1 to 8 so now i want to put one on 9 to 16 and want i did i took other ac wires and plug it to second controller so now i have 2 separate plugs to put into socket on wall is that ok want i did i just try to see want happen when i just plug a power supply to 9 to 16 it do not turn on is that right you have to power 1 to 8 first to make 9 to 16 to work thank you for your help
How are you powering the controller. There are two ways. One is using the ext.power connection and the other is using the V2 pixel port which also powers port 9 to 16. This is set using some switches on the board. If you choose to use V2 to power the board, then that power supply needs to be on. You can also power the controller by choosing the ext.power port. This will keep the controller alive even you do not have power on V1 or V2 ports.
i have a postive wire and negative wire from power supply to controller port 1 to 8 could i put a different power supply to port 9 to 16 with other set of wires and plug the power supply in a different plug on the wall so i have two separate power supply is that way ok thank you

Yes, you can use a different power supply for port 9 to 16 and use that same power supply to Inject power.
hi trevi im stuck on a question i have 1500 pixel i want to know if my 350 watt power surply at running 30 percent brightness could handle that how do you run all your pixels do you hook up 2 power surply and if i hook up 2 power surply would that work thank you
Hey den bel. Your 350w power supply is more that enough for 1500 pixel. You are good. You can use a second power supply if you want to depending on how spread apart they are. If you use a second power supply just connect the positive an negative as you will normally do. Inject power every 200 -300 pixels. That should do the trick.

Call them. I have heard that they usually have ready to run controller ready to ship. Seems their website is not upated. Or look at the Kulp Controllers.
