That block bet was underrated.
The purpose of the block bet is to set your own price, and being able to fold if you get raised.
That’s got to be a raise all day. A better flush is NEVER making such a small bet.
Yeah but it’s Santosh…
@@bullyboy131 and sometimes to induce a raise bluff when people think your block bet looks weak
@@usernamesrlamo That's ridiculous. Poker is all about making moves that fly in the face of obvious protocol. If everyone always did what they were "supposed to" Phil Hellmuth would be the best player in the world.
2:50 i can hear the disappointment in Schulman’s voice
This where all the hustler regs have gone to...
Robl's not putting out an 80k blocker bet with a better flush. The only flush draws that would make sense that I could see check raising the turn would be Q,9 or 9,7. You have to put Robl all in with the 5 high flush.
I've only watched the first few episodes of season 12, but Robl was running pretty hot... they aren't giving too much away in this clip, but it sounds like he might have had a bit of a downswing coming up
Strange that he just called there on the river ...
It's tough to get called by worse.

@MCFoultier Point being?
@@johnwall1989 the point is, that santosh is a fish
@@MCFoultier how's 10nl working out for you?
Santhosh missed an all in on the river. He wasnt getting the right odds to call the turn unless he factored in that all in so it was a beautiful block bet by Robl.
Santosh had 1.86:1 on the turn so he needed 35%, he had 30% equity so it was very close and he only needed to make a tiny bit more on the river to make it profitable. As for an all in on the river, does Robl ever call with a worse hand than a tiny flush? I highly doubt it, I think he'd fold all sets & straights and only call w/ a higher flush
@@LMW87MMA Runner runner flush somewhat unlikely. Decent chance robl calls. But perfect blocker bet.
@LMW87MMA thats not the point. If he thinks Robl has a better flush draw, he should fold the turn. Hes only getting correct implied odds If he thinks Robl has a strong made hand like two pair or a set, so he should raise the river.
Santos should have 3x his 80k raise end of.... maybe 2.4x minimum.... he is a rich fish enit
@@LMW87MMA Santosh called 1.45: 1 when he needed at minimum 2.33:1. That call is only profitable if he hits and wins another $145k. He was short by $65k...that call will lose him money over the long run if he's not maximizing profit on the river when he hits.
"One of those days" - yeah, I hate when those days happen! 😕
normal friday burning 250k in a friendly poker game :DD
Any actual pro would’ve raised the river after that flush comes in. Robl would have likely shoved or bet way more than $80k with a flush and with the massive turn check-raise, it was pretty obvious Robl had like 2 prs or a set.
it is unnecessary to raise the river with low flush if you're beat you toasted. Btw robl ain't calling any raise after betting 80k he's a pro
It always sounds like this announcer is eating and I can’t stand it lol
Half of them sound like that and it's weird af.
robl sure isn't aging very well.😆
I’m really nervous😅
How do you not slam a flush there against a river block lol
robl was never the same after tony g got to him
Tibungco palette
I actually feel there is enough reason to shove the turn for Suvarna.
So happy to see suvarna wins
And what about Santhosh!??? 😎
wtf how do u not jam that river. robl never has flush there.
Santosh has Robls number
Called $165k for the draw and then just calls $80k when you hit the winner river. Makes no sense.. What a fish!
man sit down 🤣🤡
it does when you have 5 high flush
It was quite obvious Robl was trying to protect his hand on the turn. Especially when he made a defensive bet on the river. You gotta know he had no flush if you’re a decent poker player. Scared money don’t make no money Papi.
I think it was the way he bet 80gs dude looked strong.
It’d of been extremely interesting if robl bet 200k-all in.
Sure sounded like Santosh said “all in”.
I just call.
Like unc Paulie said go to the ear nose throat dept. and get your hearing 👂 checked step child. 😮
If I'm robl I yell "f***$#&" as loud as I can when I see that heart
What a bad call from suvarna on the turn there, the pot odds weren't in his favor
It’s not THAT bad of a call. The odds were fairly close, what made it worse is the river call. If he’s going to call the turn he’s got to raise 80k on the river.
I thought he said all in?
Like unc. Paulie said go to the 👂 ear nose throat dept and get your hearing checked step child. 😮
No gamble no future I guess
miss value so much, call this is bad
Not one comment is useful, including this one.
I'm not so sure , your comment has helped me negotiate some tough times in my personal life....many thanks Dr
Oh nice it is to play so terrible and get there

Robl looks old, wow. Am feeling my age.
Robl is the nuttiest Luckbox I have ever seen
he lost the hand so not really
@@TherealBDL I know. The only time. Other times people don't look him up shoving 42o pre
Both players played that river poorly... Andrew less so.
Robl played it perfect
@@77oregano77 Incorrect...
And since we know the hands... We know for a fact that the *perfect* line (on the river anyway).. Is check/fold...
Any river play other than that, is by definition "worse" than check/folding... The river block bet cost him 80k that he didn't *need* to lose.
@@drewf8619 That’s results oriented, which isn’t how poker is meant to be played.

Now I can tell that i Saw Robl loosing a hand
Robl like to flare his nostril when he has a hand.
Shove the turn and run it twice. Surprised at Andrew. Aftet all what can Santosh have but a draw or a set of 10s then unlucky ?😢
Yeah you should teach Robl how to play 🤦🏻♂️
If he shoves the turn maybe he gets a fold and that's not what he wants. You are results oriented.
Chico 😮 has the horse 👠👟.
I only run it twice if I am on a draw. 😮
