Map same me too... just got my crown on today 😁 after waiting 5 months 😭 after getting the implant in. They say 3 to 6 months after the implant you can get the crown. Hope you don’t have to wait as long as I did.
Had implant done 2 days ago under local anesthesia. I was not put to sleep. Whole process took around 15 minutes. Didn’t feel a thing. I’ve only taken one painkiller just in case it started to hurt. Didn’t really need it. Cheek is kinda tender but other than that. Not really any pain.
I had an implant years ago. The procedure is similar and took over a year. The dentist didn't need cut back the gums and then suture them back up, as is in this video.
Had 9 implants / posts put in and top and bottom over dentures ( snap in) made...2yrs later I absolutely love them..Best Money I ever spent! Honestly the process and bone graft were quite brutal...it is a process! I would do it again! 💜🙏
This music seems too romantic for this barbaric procedure. Should have some hard ass rock and roll with a loud screaming ass guitar in the background to symbolize the person’s screams from the dentist chair
No screams whatsoever. Shot of anesthetic took care of that. Nothing really bothered me except the scraping of the scalpel on my jawbone. Not painful, just slightly unnerving. The drilling was no big deal. After that, just a few days of mild pain easily manageable with Advil. I'm in the late stages of the process and will be getting my crown in a couple of weeks.
Some of my adult gums were missing. I rode them out till I was 18. Fortunately they made them for free here where I live because it's a genetic problem. Three of my teeth were replaced in total but I had to take a bone implant operation also, that was pretty rough.
I got mine done yesterday. Each tooth were $3,000 but the insurance took 60% off for each tooth. Felt a bit of throbbing the first day and today is better. I was under anesthesia during the entire process. As of today I won't need any pain medication. Video looks like overkill but it's not as painful as it looks.
Your lucky. I’m needing two dental implants and my insurance doesn’t cover it. I just seen by the dentist and it’s going to costs me $10,750 for two molar implants.
I know this is 3 years old, but do you get the option to be put under? Its not so much the pain as it is being unable to move from a chair and the thought of people proding around in my face.
Yes, i looked it up since i will be getting an implant in 3 weeks abd according to kriss ai, a temporary tooth or a temporary restoration may be used while the implant heals and integrates with the jawbone. Are you planning to get dental implants too? ☺
Thanks for this. I’m the sort of person who wants to watch all the procedures done to me, but you can’t really see when it’s in your mouth! In a couple days I’m going in to have the finished implants put in and I’m looking forward to chewing on BOTH sides of my mouth!

The video is great but some titles with the materials used and the components would be beneficial too. Could you please tell me what was put on top of coping before impression was taken?
I seen where your teeth can grow back from cavities etc. Not if they been extracted. Research it you will be amazed, at least I was. They used the root of a plant called "Comfrey" and organic egg shells grinded into a powder it's more but it's amazing
I have undergone implant 4:49 on 11 and 12 of upper jaw. Taken antibiotics and other as per dentist's advice. On 8th day stitchs are removed. Now l am getting pain on throat and fever in evening time ,which gradually increases to 102 degrees and gives relief after taking paracetamol 500 Is it normal or to get any medication. My age is approaching 58. U.K.Mishra, Bhubaneswar
I had dental implants which was very costly, and first part was very painful (bone graft ), the second part of it was not painful, it was just an adjustment period .Strangely, I felt a pressure around my eyes it was odd, I asked my dentist to loosen them hoping it would alleviate this odd pressure, but he declined because he said "It would loosen over time." Then a few months later, the implants began to hurt, a deep throbbing pain, and it caused facial pain. Sometimes, I felt a deep throbbing in my jaw, that pain was off and on. Then it began to hurt so bad that I saw my dentist and he said, that my body was rejecting the implant . :( I had noticed it was emitting bad odor. It was gross I brushed, cleaned, water piked, use this dental stuff 3-4 times to gargle with it was some stuff that my dentist gave me. I did research on that and found that a few other people were also having the same implant odor issue. My ND told me odor means an infection, but none was found on the dental scan . As a precaution I took a series of four ozone injection over four weeks if a hidden infection existed, it would be wiped out. After the series of ozone the odor remained. I was fed up . After a couple months, of almost no sleep and pain killers I just had the painful one removed. I could finally sleep and no longer require ibuprofen. Then the second implant began hurting more, same story. I was just tired of it and had them removed pain and pressure, pain odor are all gone. Everything isn't for everyone. I'm super sensitive, I wish I would seriously taken that into deeper consideration, and perhaps having one put in and see how it felt instead of having four implants placed. After more research I have begun to wonder about the risks of drilling into the jaw bone . I know there is a lot of information out there about cavitations and low level infections brewing that may trigger health problems I have discussed with with my dentist he said most peoples immune systems can kick it out, but that has not been the case for some of the peoples cases that I have read about. I did a lot of research about this so that I had a greater understanding of the possible risks and health ramifications. A friend was discussing with me a new technology will soon exist where they may be able to just help people regrow teeth.
So you had the implants removed?? Ya see that is my concern. I can barely handle the extraction and bone graft i just had done 2 wks ago on my bottom first molar. Painfu, adjacent teeth hurting , jaw aching. ive turned the corner now somewhat but I dont know if i wanna go for it. I have the other first molar that is scheduled to be implanted and bone grafted. Its just soooo much energy, time and worry for me. Thanks for your candid post. if you have any other infor please respond :))
Thanks so much Sophie for this information. It is a huge benefit that you've shared this. I myself am a really sensitive person and a slow healer so I just don't think I can go through it so effortlessly like everybody else is. My teeth are already super sensitive my molars recession etc and I think it's a big deal especially when you're older if you're 20 no big deal but if you're 57 it's a bigger deal. May I ask how the procedure went for them to remove the implants? I can only imagine oh my goodness.
Regrowing teeth wouldn't that be an absolute amazing thing? I have tried to take impeccable care of my teeth I salt water I use the hexadine, I brush with soft brush I basically don't eat a lot of the time so that I can avoid dealing with the cleaning and flossing. I'm tempted to do the number 19 bottom left for smaller that the orthopedic guy really wants to do. He would put the implant in and then the bone graft all in one felt swoop. His credentials are excellent and he works with three other people and that's all they do and they're a pretty solid practice. But that doesn't take away about what kind of patient I am. May I ask if you were younger or older? And which teeth you had the implants removed from? I truly am only doing this because I can't chew or eat many things I just don't bother and it's not really for the aesthetics more so than having the ability to eat normal. I have a friend and some family members that actually think I have a eating disorder because I pass on a lot of food I just don't eat it they don't realize the real reason. Thanks so much for your wealth of information I really appreciate it.
I am 5 hours out from having stage 1. This ish hurts to the high heavens!!! Please do not let your dentist send you away with over the counter meds. You will end up in the ER. I will be glad when it's over.
I just started the process of getting implants. I was originally going to get one tooth replaced, but then another tooth got loose when the first tooth was pulled, so I needed a second implant 5 days after the first one. The extraction process was the worst part and very traumatic, even though I was numb from local anesthesia. The dentist really had to work to get the second one out because the filling was very big and deep. The pressure and the cracking sounds were hard to handle. I had a death grip on the arms of the chair during the process. The sounds and sensations of drilling for the implant were also unnerving, but not as bad as the extraction. After it was done, the next pain came from my wallet. My insurance only covers a maximum of $1500 per year. The total bill that I had to pay out of pocket was over $9000 for two teeth! Ouch x 2. It is crazy how much these things cost!! Would I recommend it? Hard to say. I did it more out of necessity than want because my teeth were not in good enough shape to do a root canal and cap. Root canals are expensive too, but not nearly as much as an implant. I guess implants are supposed to hold up better than caps.
I have to get two teeth implanted. Dental surgeon says two screws are needed for each tooth, but the RUclips videos on this show only one titanium screw for each screw, this I am not getting well. Kindly clarify. Thank you.
I just had done my teeth in Turkey. Since the value of the Turkish lira is low, it came very cheap and at the same time it is very high quality. There are clinics that I would recommend to anyone who wants it.
Na. It does not beef under a metal detector. I have two tooth implants and have never faced that problem. The metal is just too small for it to be detected
Three months between 1st and 2nd visit is good. How long between 2nd and 3rd visit? And I see the gums fully covering up the implant at the end of the 1st visit, and at the start of the 2nd visit the implant is magically exposed without needing to cut up the gum to get at it
I have few teeth missing myself and they want me to do this i am so scared and nerves smh. And please follow me on RUclips at #DisneyDiva and thank you and be safe and sound
No u fuknod- if they drop shit down into ur lung, and u inhale it... u have to have immediate surgery and they cut ur back from shoulder blade to kidney... u will live, but you have to sue the dentist to pay for the extraction surgery, which wud have been avoided if u just took the stoopid needle
I am getting chills in my spine watching this video. I never had permanent teeth for first molars in both sides of lower jaw and had to have a implant soon. God , why I have to go through this painful process?😖😫
I don't know your age or dental situation. But if you are even somewhat happy with your teeth the way they are now, you might reconsider if it is worth changing. I've had braces as an adult, but got complications, so needed a root canal and later implant and crown for where the first molar used to be. Cost me many thousands of euro's, 4 years in total of hassle with braces, and my teeth have never felt comfortable again afterwards. Biggest regret of my life. Only because my front teeth weren't perfectly straight.... 😔
I fell and cracked my two front teeth when I was 4 and I have dealt with crowns and caps for ever and theyve even fallen. I have been considering these for the two and it seems super scary.
Currently having implants in Istanbul The only painful part for me was the Anästhesie but also the doctor was Bit rough but overall she was nice , also as it was my first time I was very sensitive and sensible 😔 After that went back to my hotel dizzy and with discomfort but nothing mayor 😊 Now just waiting for my crowns to be set up leaving in 5 days back to my country. Hopefully everything goes well. P.s price for each implant 430$
Okay but this song makes me sad of how I have missing tooth and now i have to replace them with implants , I wanna cry I wish I had perfect teeth and didnt have to struggle with this in the middle of the age 17
You don't really feel the drill ... the anesthetic they use is pretty fucking crazy. All you'll feel is pressure and they work really fast. You'll be in and out in about 26 mins tops.
Can you put too much pressure on the gauge to cost the implant to come out? The reason I’m asking is because when they were removing the healing cap the implant came out. Now I have to go through the whole process all over again. Any feedback or suggestions for me? Please
the drilling makes me anxious 😥 kriss ai said that there is sedation options and I'll probably have that. i don't think local anesthesia is enough for me not to feel anxious 😔
totes understand the anxiety around the drilling. sedation options can really ease those nerves. when I had a similar procedure, opting for sedation made a big difference for me.
My husband had this done in the first phase today. I have never seen him in so much pain. I am so mad that they try and hide how painful this really is.
Every patient and their pain tolerance is different …. I had one and felt nothing during the surgery and it felt like a tooth ache for the first night only then zero pain after that
I have to get a dental implant at 26 I definitely wish I took better care of this one tooth, praying everything goes well but this process still scares me though eek
My tooth broke after i had my daughter, when I was pregnant with her all my calcium went to her (that’s what my dr said) so it made my teeth weak. I bit into a burrito that day and it broke :( I tried to fix it but I ignored it. So now 8 years later finally getting an implant. I’m lucky it was a tooth that’s in the back 🤣 so you can’t really see it, but I’m excited :)
Just don't think about it, I was nervous to but one day I was like eff it, if I don't do it now I'm not gna do it tomorrow, I just had the screw thing drilled in my jaw and in about 7 more weeks ill return for my 2nd visit, My only regret is not doing it sooner.
This give me some ideas I'm trying to find affordable place because my dentist says that I need a root canal and I'm concerned for the long run that my tooth that needs to root canal might fall out so now I have to do the research on implants and the whole process
I did this 2 months ago, healing very well. Not a big deal at all, but stay away from hard chewed food during the first week, if you start bleeding, the body will have a hard time fixing itself so you will be given (or bring by yourself) something to bite on and put pressure to stop blood flow. Some kind of woolen cloth. I would do this again and again, what hurt the most was the painkiller right before the surgery, and feeling blood and shit dripping onto your tounge when they drill into the bone was both scary and interesting lol. I got my treatment for free, thanks politicians.
I need at least three put in because I have missing adult teeth. Didn’t lose them, I just never got them (they didn’t exist to begin with.) it’ll be a few years though before I do anything
Jeep Wrangler Same with my daughter. She’s 11. She has one baby tooth that doesn’t have an adult tooth underneath. Orthodontist says she can keep that baby tooth possibly all the way into her 20’s or even her 30’s until she needs to get it pulled and replaced.
I'm having this procedure cuz i have a tooth that didn't grow. Today, the dentist did an xray on my gum and at once the mystery I have always wanted to know was answered, there's no tooth inside my gum to come out. Turns out, I have two missing teeth since apart from the once scanned, I still have a baby tooth and this too don't have an adult tooth to begin with. So, I wanna get rid of my single tooth denture so I'm having an implant some time from now.

Then get my gums cut open all over again for the implants, take painkillers and antibiotics, and wait for the implant area to heal while not being able to eat my fav foods. Plus it's $8000. I thought the video was brilliant - great visual explanation - and I found the music very calming.
It isn't bad at all. I had mine done with Novocaine yesterday, and have only needed a little ibuprofen.

My age is approaching 58.
U.K.Mishra, Bhubaneswar
Recently did my first and second procedure - no issues observed at all
I am getting implants and I was cut where the implants are for the crown. I didn't see that done.
Omg why did you remove it? Did the surgeon told you something?
So you had the implants removed?? Ya see that is my concern. I can barely handle the extraction and bone graft i just had done 2 wks ago on my bottom first molar. Painfu, adjacent teeth hurting , jaw aching. ive turned the corner now somewhat but I dont know if i wanna go for it. I have the other first molar that is scheduled to be implanted and bone grafted. Its just soooo much energy, time and worry for me. Thanks for your candid post. if you have any other infor please respond :))
@@Kauailove You're welcome, and I added more detail to my original story just in case you want to read it.

I need to implant 2 molars in my right side...I want to know how long does this process take?????
The next pain came from my wallet kkkkkkk

“The pressure and the cracking sounds”. I just had a tooth extracted. Your comment gave me ptsd lmao it explains it perfectly tho

I did this 2 months ago, healing very well.
