    Hands down the best jazzrock bass player.Not to mention one of rocks greatest voices. The Cream changed everything back in the 60's. still I.M.O the best 3 piece band of all time. Still listen to them.R.I.P

    Rest In Peace Jack the lad, from Govan’s Harmony Row.
    Your up there with the best now and putting on a show.
    John Bonham on drums and Jimi Hendrix on guitar.
    With your good self on bass Sir, you were the best by far..

    The first album I ever purchased was "Cream, Fresh Cream" as a child in Queens N.Y. after hearing "I'm So Glad" on a transistor radio. The bar had been set high, early. Perhaps the best 3 piece band in over 50 years.

      Me too ....kinda...I think it was Jimi Hendrix and then the Monkees and a few Beatles and then I heard Cream on the radio and ran down to the record store and they gave me the date they would have the album.I showed up there in the morning...no line of course...and bought that album and ran home and played it and my life changed. It struck a nerve. I was so excited. Very fond memories. RIP Jack you were important to me.

    Some day, all those masterminds from the 60 and 70 music scene will pass away, then the world becomes a dark place. Well it it already, cause they make no music more.

    Eric Clapton and George Harrison wrote the song badge. Next time give the assignment to somebody who put some effort into researching.

    Badge? Clapton wrote and sang that, not Jack.

    • @CB-xr1eg
      @CB-xr1eg 6 лет назад

      He didn't say Jack wrote or sang it, he said he helped create it, as he played bass on it I would say that is correct.
      I wish twats like you would fucking listen!
      Besides that, Harrison and Clapton wrote it together.

    • @justafanintexas7913
      @justafanintexas7913 6 лет назад +1

      Clive Bindley - Jack Bruce never heard of "Badge" until Clapton put it in front of him. Clapton and Harrison crafted the whole song, including the bass lines, opening and percussion fill at the bridge. "Here Comes The Sun" was written at the same afternoon session in the garden and share the now famous "Badge Riff." Do you want to know how I know that - because I asked Clapton when I had the chance. I fucking listened, shit for brains.
