+purpletoo12 With HDMI cables I would only look into a good quality one if I needed something over 3 meters. I have a dollar store HDMI cable for my Apple TV and it works great, I also have another one for my Xbox and it works just as well as my expensive HDMI cable .

I was wondering if it was possible to remove or disable select inputs, I only need hdmi1 and hdmi2, and my remote isn’t always detected so I only want to have to press the input change once to swap between the two.
I was pairing my Samsung phone with my less than 2 year old LG blu ray intertainment center. I received a note saying as of June 30th i will no longer have youtube access. So if I want youtube I have to buy a new Blu-ray player. Is the reason behind this the fact the can't run commercials when I pair my phone and Blu-ray? Does anyone out there know?

In the downloadable user guide, you are provided a list of numbers that correspond to your TV brand. While holding down the TV Power button (the little one, not the man power button), press the number that corresponds to your TV manufacturer. You should now be able to turn your TV on and off with the DVD remote.
Your directions are great and very helpful. However for some reason mine still doesn't connect no matter how many times I go through the steps, It only gives me one check mark 😭

Sandy Fandl just in case this is a bluray player. Not dvd player. And all smart bluray players have an App Store . Where you can download apps such as Hulu. However you must be located in USA , in order for it to work

acguevara Sorry to hear you got scewed also you know i never had a remote control that just stopped working i can understand if i dropped it or threw it against the wall but i didnt and i cant return it to best buy where i brought it cause my wife threw out the box so im out 100 bucks.

acguevara well thanks but i dont think the universal remote with help with setting up the picture in which i after do every time i put another disc in the player its funny you know sometimes the remote works then its goes dead ill never buy another lg product thanks for your input.
I couldn't agree more. So many people including me were told to return our DVD players. He don't even bother to help people further. Just dismissive. I am glad I didn't listen to him because I got my player hooked to the internet. I feel bad he may be wasting peoples times. Some people may order their players from online. Such a shame they have to send it back to where they bought it from and wait another few days for a new one when it can be something very easily fixable. Some companies if they go to repair the "defective" device and find there was nothing wrong the customers have to pay for the second device. I hope he hasn't wasted anyone's time and money. He should be a hell of a lot more helpful than that.

What if you only have the speakers? Will they work with a receiver?

I wouldn't buy a blueray - that's a waste of money. Everything is digital now. What you should consider buying in the future would be an Apple TV

+Chloe Khor the movie also needs to be 3d. when you insert a movie that is 3D than you have the choice to play in 2d or 3d
The movie, DVD player and tv are all in 3D yet somehow it still doesn't work? I tried the 3D picture test and it seemed to work fine
