Yes. Even when looking at the "proper" Region maps, the colors on the land area strips show glitches: there are both orange and blue painted spots in repeated and "wrong" places around the world.
It's really great for those of us who still support all aspects of physical media. My initial interest in a region-free player stemmed from a variety of TV titles that were only released in their entirety in the UK. Here in the US, far too many studios release the first season on Blu-ray and then abandon the rest. Just bought this player from your link… sure hope it’s good but I trust your judgement 😁
That Blu Ray player is no longer available on Amazon, what model was it?
Here is the updated link: amzn.to/3ODJAwh
@@pizowell Thanks so much. The weird thing I keep reading though is that if you don’t get these models in an enhanced, custom model from 220 Electronics, they are not actually region free. In the capsule reviews I’ve seen the negatives listed as “ some people question its being region free”” which I find confusing.
I bought a Sony S5200 and it doesn’t work at all. Ive tried everything. I don’t have numbers on my remote and this player was bought region free. I paid extra. Can someone please help. I’ve ordered like 10 region B Arrow Mesia BR’s from eBay lol
Thank you for this video. I have a non-region free 4K blu-ray player but have found that I have recently started importing titles or wanting to import titles but they are region B locked. I may be buying the blu-ray player you have linked so I no longer have any importing woes!
Glad I could help!
Anyone knows a place to get cheap prices of blurays? In amazon anime is getting expensive.
Didn't work
i have a 3d blue ray player and for the first time a 3d disc is reading , “ this video is a mismatch between player and disc region codes. How can I change the region code? The dvd version of the movie plays without a problem.
The one you give a link to does not say it plays 4k bluray. Am I missing something?
The Playstation 4 allows you to pick a region..but you can only change 3 times before it locks... Of course I course a different region for my other video collection..
Your channel is SUPER one question I have SOS Titanic region 1(A) but my blu-ray player playes only region 2 is it the same method with the remote press 1 etc is a SONY Blu-ray player.

Hey Piz, I just got a region-free blu-ray player the other day and have gotten a couple of things already, but I wanted to ask you, what are some of the best Region B & Region C releases you believe are ones I should seek out.
1:00 so how do these deals work with 4k discs that are supposedly region free?
You can also use a PC to play different regions.
Hello
Do you know if there's any region-free 3D blu-ray players in the market? Great content thanks
Idk if it’s just me but I bought the player that is listed in the description and it’s not working. It just says that this player isn’t region b on the screen.
I have a PLEX Server and copy all my movies to it so I can watch them without loading a physical DVD. I purchased a DVD set from Region 2 but I cant get it to rip. do you know what a good maker is for DVD rippers to rip the DVD for backing them up?
So I'm sure you can lmao but just to be sure, you can play region b DVDs on the Blu ray player in the description correct?
Yes, that's correct.
@@pizowell PERFECT. Life saver man. Thank you.
I had a question in regards to picture quality. How does the picture quality look on the 1080p player on your 4k tv? I’m torn between getting just a region free Blu ray player vs a 4k uhd region free player. I already have a Panasonic 4k player and I just want something for my region b movies.
I loved many hanna barbera shows from the diamond collection.
Yet it wasnt released in denmark.
Also i had to pay 30$ pr dvd of dragon ball in denmark vs 60$ for the entire collection stateside. 100$ for dbz
Ok i like your video. i have that player but i don't kjnow when to enter the region code. is that before inserting the dvd or after? My box says REGION 1 so i don't know how your dvd players LG BP 175 is region free and not mine...
See all this is great and all, but what about just supplying people with the software to download so they can do all this themselves? I know some machines you actually need to go in and do some work with the hardware but I've seen these discs on eBay that people are trying to sell that have some magic software. Where do I get that software? Why should I pay 30 bucks for a disc with the software, if I was going to do that, might as well cough up the money and buy one that's already been hacked.
Yours loks like an LG BP250, which i just bought, and it doesnt play Region 1 DVDs here in the UK. Ive been told a CD can unlock at a one off price of abut 8 quid. Anybody tried this?
i have been using region free players from 2003 bro this info is old news and you can break any dvd region with your controller
you did it the wrong way to break any dvd player it only takes 1 min , no need to buy a new player .....gee and even eazy for pc you can just change the code to all in you pc
