Thank you for the interpretation of Jack Dempsey’s(R.I.P.) power line. The sudden step with the lead leg is called the falling step. I’m a southpaw/switch hitter boxer that has incorporated Dempsey’s technique into my arsenal. One of his most effective techniques is referred to as the Dempsey Double Shift. For me as a southpaw boxer, it’s throwing a double jab and straight left hand. While firing my straight left, I let my momentum (falling step) change me from southpaw to orthodox (right handed stance). My left hand consequently becomes a fast stiff jab and then I fire 🥊🔥🥇 my straight right hand. This technique has allowed me to out box other opponents in my fights. The Dempsey Double Shift basically has knockout potential. The best visual example is just watch the Russian boxer Dmitry Pirog’s knockout of Daniel Jacobs. That’s the perfect example of the Dempsey Double Shift.

I imagine the closer to the centerline the elbow is the more projection of force.

you should make a video about shooting takedowns, to not get them to the ground but just to waste time
