You are a most intrepid tour guide John. I was getting dizzy from the precipice view, even sitting here in my office chair. Thanks for sharing the beautiful places with us. The falls are indeed magnificent. I just wish they were a reasonable drive from here in W. Texas. Cheers, and stay safe and well.

Your knees were knocking; I quit breathing. Spectacular indeed, but that vantage point is not for me.
It is glorious scenery and the energy of water and rock must be exhilarating and recharging of the soul when one is there to experience it.

Many thanks my friend! Maybe a few big nuggets down there!! 🤿
@@visitscotlandtours1 Unfortunately not but there is gold in the area😀
What a beautiful feature in the relatively tame landscape of Scotland, Of course I come from a region where waterfalls are everywhere, but what I find stunning is, of course how the trees have carved out their little niches in amongst the cliffs and the riverside. Of course we have plenty of trees as well but you have tree types that we simply do not have. The Rockies are dominated by pines and spruces because although they may be slower growing than poplars and many other deciduous trees, they remain green and growing year round and have eventually choked out other tree types so seeing the old gnarled oaks and beechwood trees you have there, among others, is what I love to see. Seeing the two or three thousand year old trees that simply cannot exist in my country is a sight that brings awe to me. Now North America has very old living trees as well, we call them Methuselah Trees because they can live many thousand years but I have never been able to travel to California where they can be found, that is of course not to mention the Giant redwoods of Northern California as well but they are young whipper snappers by comparison to the Bristle cone Pines known as Methuselah trees. The first spot you stopped at at the very head of the falls you stopped and pointed your camera at the falls from behind and beautifully gnarled and cracked old branch of a tree that was still alive, but that particular branch was dead, and I stopped your video to appreciate the beauty of that branch and I am want to call it an oak but of course I'm no expert is it an oak or is it another kind of tree?
What a great nature experience and mystical place. Thank you so much for sharing.
Once when up there I became aware of voices, but not Scottish, nor any language I could detect. I looked around and saw two large breaded men, carrying something over their shoulders. They had a sort of singing, deep very resonant voice, but appeared to just be yapping about everyday events, very relaxed. As they got closer, just vanished. Their clothing was like nothing I've seen either.
The others with me never saw nor heard anything at all. It was just where some large boulders are over the fence as you walk towards the falls. Never experienced that again, but I wouldn't put it down to a hallucination or such. Pretty sure they were recordings in the landscape, ghosts.
Certainly an extraordinary vision, especially when one is hypersensitive. Very exciting. Thank you for sharing
Thank you John for sharing this magical place … Scotland really does have it all … amazing! Love these tours where you talk ‘off the cuff’ … so special 😊
So stunningly beautiful! What a place! Your country just has the best gems in nature and landscapes. Thank you for showing us this lovely place in its autumn finery. 🤩
Breathtaking beauty and no worries, the power of the water completely drowned out anything coming from the knees! My own knees would never survive that trail so I'm very grateful for the tour and the history too. Blessings!
As you would say John ……absolutely gorgeous ….. stunning location and very therapeutic sound of the waterfall … I could sit and contemplate life there for hours ..
Scotland one of the wonders on this earth. Magnificent.
You really are a joy to watch and you need to get paid for these videos because it’s excellent advertising for Scotland ❤
Aww thanks Selina. Maybe one day Visit Scotland will headhunt me or another tourism organisation
Thank you, John. Such a beautiful location. One to add to my ever-growing bucket list. Scenery to calm a troubled soul, after a day's toil. Very refreshing. 😊
WOW John that is an incredible virtual tour and so breathtakingly magnificanent and absolutely gorgeous! You were a whole lot braver than I was just sitting here watching when you went out onto the rocks and looked down on those sheer drops.
You are braver then me!! I loved the video...Thank you for sharing this beauty!
Thanks for watching! And taking the time to comment. see you on the next tour!
Thanks for taking us on this tour of the falls. It's yet another stunning part of Scotland. You always make it so interesting by adding the history in too. Thanks for sharing.

#1 on my bucket list is to visit Scotland. I doubt that I'll ever get there, but your tours make me feel like I'm there. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and beautiful country with us.
Spectacularly beautiful John, and God knew you were there, that's why he gave you a wee bit of sunshine for the 🌈. I was looking at the field nearby, perhaps you could get a new permission to detect there....lol
Thank You John! A beautiful video start to finish. The Rainbow was Icing on the Cake!
Isn't that the coolest thing with the rainbow too! Super extra special! What a fantastic fun look at this lovely place. Thank you so much. Very sad for that beech as they are slow growers and can live a very long time.
I truly enjoyed this beautiful walk. I live near a mountain waterfall, so I enjoy seeing another!
I had great difficulty just watching the video with those heights, my knees were knocking the entire walk. Thank you, awesome to see and with my fear of heights, a video is as close as I will get. Just stunning.
Many thanks! The things I do for TV 😂 well, at least as you say you’ve seen it without the risks! Have a wonderful day and great weekend
That was great, cheers John, loved it.
Glad you enjoyed it many thanks 😊

Oh it’s so lovely, what a gorgeous place on earth Scotland is 😍 There’s so much too see and thank you so much for the introduction and tour of these special places. That’s a really high fast flowing river after all the rain and the Autumn colours are spectacular - great time of year.
Hello, Sir! This was such a wonderful tour of a truly stunning and spectacular setting at Reekie Linn Waterfall... Thank you so much for the informative and stunning experience, and I am counting the days until I can get to Scotland for my very first time! Watching this makes me want to jump out of my skin with excitement. Exactly my kind of Sacred Sanctuary, both peaceful and exhilarating! Working on my itinerary, and hoping to add Reekie Linn Falls to the list! I'm grateful to have found your site! Godspeed, and Happy Trails!

gorgeous
Glad you agree 😆
Oh wow❤. There are no words of how beautiful that area is
Beautiful falls. Thank you John for your entertaining tour.
Beautiful place! When you were on the bridge, the mist was so high that I perceived the mist AS the falls and was disoriented - especially since the river flows the other direction. "Only in Scotland could a waterfall fall up!" 😊
Wow! It’s like straight out of a fairytale
What power in the water, had to switch off at about 9mins as I got the heebeegeebees 😄
Absolutely stunning!! I guess you’re better off saving up for a drone John. Or Santa for that matter?
Let it do the height shots. I heard your whole body rattling over the sound of the falls. 😜
Thanks for the wonderful footage mate and for withstanding the tickling feeling for us, which keeps sending FULL STOP! to young brain.😉
Beautiful. Reminds me of the work of 19th century Scottish watercolourists. Plenty there for me to draw and paint.
Awesome tour John, thank you. The rainbow was gorgeous!
Thank you John! I loved walking along with you! Well done!
Absolutely gorgeous! Thank you John😊
Taikuu John, I love all that being outside in the country has to offer. Till next time..

There's just something about a waterfall.
What a beautiful site thank you for showing us ❤😊
Thanks for watching Sheila!
Spectacular is the word! As you went out on the rocks at the first, I wondered if the rocks under your feet were rumbling and transferring that energy to thru you. Thank you for sharing!
Amazing John being from Scotland and driven most roads in Scotland you are showing us places that i have past and never knew were there Top man
I was having a trying day today and you made me smile especially the perfect fleeting rainbow. 💕
Thank you John for sharing!! I live in Hemet, California. I appreciate your wonderful explanation of everything so thoroughly, from your Tour Visits & your Metal Detecting. It allows me to think of where my ancestors could have been. 😁😊
Very impressive views, thanks for sharing. Your knowledge and presentation was of a very professional manner! 👏
I've added it to my list of places to visit when I get to Scotland. It is amazing!

@@visitscotlandtours1 probably a White Horse Whiskey. Think John has been a
Clever boy this year🤣🤣🤣😜🔝
I was nervous with you being out there on those rocks or close to the edge of the cliff! Powerful falls! Very cool area! Thank you for these tours! I get to travel vicariously via my living room!
I felt the same, not fond of heights. And going out on wet, slippery rocks directly over a precipice, 😱 😬 😳
@@terryt.1643 Exactly! I found myself holding my breath each time he got close to the edge, all the while also saying "Please step further back from the edge!"
😮 you made off the rock
Just! 😆
Absolutely Gorgeous 🌈
Thanks 😊
@@visitscotlandtours1 that huge Beech tree looked like it has such shallow roots... no wonder it toppled over 🌳🤔
Beautiful Lands
