Hi Robert, I love your shows with so many information in it. I live in Holland and have some different variations of the album Girls Girls Girls. I never knew the one with the white letters 1964 reissue is rare. I bought my copy 10 years ago for only 15 Dollars in excellent condition.

Thanks for another fantastic show, never miss any. I´ve the Clambake Monaural release from 1967, but it´s stamped with "Not For Sale Promo Use Only". This must be more valuable than the copy shown at Nº 10 on the list!.
Not by a lot, if it's an ink stamp. But if it's an embossed corner stamp, that's worth even more. I'll be doing a shoe on promos in the future. Thanks for watching.

They still had some of those 1964 Roustabout covers during the 1971 orange flex transition. My own 1971 flexible vinyl cover is identical to my silver top stereo cover.

Also I sent out today an email to you regarding my copy of a Elvis Country with a tan label but after Moody Blue of 1977 cause of the inner sleeve. Was brand new and had it opened. What you think of it? I sent pictures as well in the email.

I noticed something about the deleted soundtrack albums (It Happened At The World's Fair", "Frankie and Johnny", "Spinout", "Double Trouble", and "Clambake")
In 1969, they were all individually reissued on Stereo 8 (except "Frankie and Johnny", which wasa a twofer with "Something For Everybody"), and "Clambake" even got a cassette release (PK-1280). It seems odd that RCA would reissue tape editions of deleted albums, as evidenced by the then new block RCA logo on the tape sleeve. Also, would it be safe to assume there are no US orange label copies of "Frankie and Johnny", "Spinout", and "Clambake"?
A good idea for a future video would be to discuss why separate mono and stereo copies were made for each new album until the late 1960's.

Hello Robert, thank you for another great episode! I was curious about a version of Girls, Girls, Girls that I have in my collection. It has the same label found on the 1962 edition, silver letters, 33 1/3 long play as the monural edition looked, but the label itself is flat, there is no ring and the vinyl itself is much lighter than normal, not dynaflex light but you can definitely feel the difference. It is a U.S. copy, a 6S/6S I believe, and it really stands out as odd! The copy I have is the only one I' ve ever seen like this and there's not much info out there about it either, so, just wondered if you might know..
Not saying I know for sure, but sounds like simply a difference in pressings between factories. I need to do a show on these factory differences and what, if anything, would make them more valualbe. Thanks for watching.
I’ve heard the same story about the “Return To Sender” sticker. I know for a fact because my uncle had a friend in the record store business on the East Coast.

Awesome video, so much great information, i just checked my AFL-1 of Girls,Girls,Girls. Its AFL-1 on a white sticker on the top corner
And as you may already know, not the same as the one with the AFL1 on both the cover and record.
Great show Robert. I also have the Kissin' Cousins LPM without the cast picture, with the infamous bonus photo as well. I'm still looking for G.I. Blues with the 'Wooden heart' sticker at a reasonable price.

The 1976, “From Elvis Presley Boulevard” With the Side A/B variation is not rare. I literally have 10 copies of the album and they’re all like this. I asked a couple other collectors as well and they told me the same. 😢

Robert, I have 3 Tan label variations of “Back In Memphis”, “Elvis Country” and “Elvis Now”. You know, Side A as opposed to Side 1. Any thoughts?
Someone emailed me recently and said they had that same label variation for From Elvis Presley Blvd. I guess there are more out there than we originally thought.

@@FrankieLovesElvis - To the best of my knowledge, the Side I & 2 is of lesser value with the Side A & B listed as being $50.00 vs Side 1 & 2 being $20.00. May be more now.
