I'm in the process of making one of those for my daughter out of what I think is ashwood for the body and teak for eyes and ears. Thanks a lot for the templates, it seems to turn out really nice! The sanding was backbreaking though. Also, I think drilling out the bottom hole and the coin slot is way easier to do before cutting the body in half. Anyhow, great idea and great tutorial!
Nice video and thanks for the template. Mi idea on this is one thick chunk in the middle removing the center with band saw. Two thinner pieces to the outside to make a nice thick wood sandwich. Grand kid would love it.
