Definitely had a ton of fun watching. The bank is awesome. I was disappointed with the dentist who pointed out flossing was not done, yet his teeth were still not white at the end! LOL. The ending was hilariously entertaining. We really like your voice over. You seriously belong in radio. You have a voice for it! BTW, I once saw a DIY'er who covered her piece of wood with painters tape first, then used adhesive spray on the back of a piece of paper with a template on it. After she carved the shape out, she peeled off the painters tape easily and did not have to fight with adhesive that might have stuck to the wood. it was a brilliant idea.
Wow! Thank you guys for those very kind words. I sincerely appreciate it. I'm usually very good with spray adhesive, but I think the heat got to me and I just layered it on like crazy this time LOL! I'm definitely gonna have to tuck away that painters tape trick in my back pocket for use in the future.
I use Inkscape. It's a free vector drawing program. There's a little bit of a learning curve to it, but it's totally worth the time it takes to learn how to use it. As for the acrylic circles I've had them laying around for a while and I think I got them at a craft store.
Watching RUclips videos is seen as a useless and lazy endeavor to most. The video more than anything would be able to change their mind. Illustrating that RUclips videos can be entertaining, educational, and eye opening. I cannot begin to describe how much this single video has changed my life. What started as a search for a fun project for my dinosaur loving son has become an experience to remember for a lifetime. As soon as I laid eyes on the green wooden surface of this little dinosaur and the coins he joyfully holds in his belly, I could not look away. I think I may be in love. I’ve been inspired to follow my true passions in life as this little dinosaur has done his, holding coins. When I was younger, I suppressed my love for dinosaurs for something that, at the moment, seemed more fulfilling like getting a job and starting a family. I was so excited that my son shared my passion for dinosaurs that was the first thing that made me realize I had forgotten to explore my own. The rough times I’ve been through, death of a family member, a rocky divorce, have left me down in the dumps lately and feeling like something is missing from my life. But now this dinosaur bank has inspired me and fulfilled what I’ve been missing. I’m going to fulfil my dreams. Thank you Dimitri. You're a true hero.
i love the vibrating cup scene..hilarious, awesome build.
Everything this guy says is delivered like a sassy action movie one-liner
loved the Jurassic park bit at the end :)
Glad you enjoyed it :)
This guy is CRAZY GENIUS !!!!
And what an amazing ending!

Wow, what a cool person you are! I've enjoyed watching this video so much. Thank you😃
Wow!! You have some neat tools! We are glad we found you from The Great Alexander’s channel! This is a really cool project!
Thank You!
I used to have something like this growing up. Cool to see how something like this is made.
That's awesome! If you have any photos of it I would love to see it. DM on IG if you find any :)
So cool. My boys would love this. Is there anything you would do differently next time?
Drill a hole in the bottom and cover with a grommet? Unless I missed it, he would have to unscrew the plastic to remove the coins.
I need to scavenge some Plexiglass because my son now wants one of these.
Awesome work!
I would love to see it when it's done!
@@xyzcreate Absolutely!

A good way to encourage a child to save some pennies. Nice.
This was exactly what I was going for. Make it fun and hopefully they will start doing it!

Thank you so much! It's really encouraging to hear that.
Wondering if i must make it for my son
What a great idea. How did you make the template? Also, where did you find acrylic circles?

I had to buy 20 by mail order to get the 2 I needed. I would gladly part with the spares at 2 for $5.00 + shipping.
The clear domes off dummy CCTV cameras could give more space 👍
My friend.

Where can we get a copy of the template?
Whoops! Looks like I forgot to add it. I just updated the description and it is at the very bottom.
Put mineral spirits on a rag a dab it on the paper pattern let it sit for a minute and the hard to peel paper pattern will come right off!
That was a fun build and an entertaining video! Great job!

Как для пятикласника на трудах было бы норм.
Но почему было не выбрать четверть и установить стекла впотай???
Nice idea 😊 ॐ
Thanks!
Dude that was a great video. Subbed and can't wait to see what's next.
Thank you so much!
Do you take orders for you to make this T. rex bank?? I would pay you to make this bank fir my grandson!!
I was expecting the T Rex to be painted red for some reason
I would the one dowel uder hands longer and put them on it for movable hands :)
Can you upload a pdf of your template?
The templates can be found at the bottom of the video description
A heat gun will help out with removing a heavy handed spray adhesive!
I didn't even think about that! I'll have to tuck that away for when I inevitably get myself into another......sticky situation.
@@xyzcreate noice 🤣
A T-Rex built for eating past presidents, haha.
