Hey Brandon. Honestly I can't remember if they were outputs for the amp or inputs from the CD changer 🤔. This was a customer's vehicle some time ago. Sorry
I think it depends on your stereo and if it can support that input. This kit was provided by the customer, I just installed it for them. So I'm not 100% sure
my dash was recently taken apart by mechanic to replace heater core and heater blend doors. Since then, my XM radio and 6-CD changer do not work. Did the mechanic forget to plug something back in? Both seem to work, but no sound through the speakers.
I did this with the same stereo but the new version of the RP5 and my speakers are playing louder on the left than the right. Any idea what it might be?
@@ValleyMobileAutomotive I have to set it almost all the way to the right side to make it sound centered. All the way to the right still shuts off the left which is even more weird.
Hey Tango, these were customer supplied parts. If you go to crutchfield.com and search with your year, make and model they will show you all the stereos that will fit and what to get for the installation 👍
There are a couple different options available for this vehicle. If you would like to look up what your vehicle takes you can go to crutchfield.com. They have a very good website and customer service.
Question: The red and white RCA cables from the vehicle, where did you plug those into on the new radio ?

There might be something unplugged or a popped fuse?

That's interesting 🤔. This may sound silly but double check that the volume balance is centered and not favoring one side.
