    Oh man I really envy the transition-zone folk. Here in CT, soil temps are still in the upper 30s. Mowing seems so far away.

    I chose last year to purchase my N-ext products from you, Pete, (instead of the other guy) because you are a down to earth, real, genuine guy. I absolutely LOVE how you serve the Lord and Bless people every opportunity you get. I once again made a purchase from you late on Thursday of the Cool Blue Grass Seed. Please, Please, Please, pass on my gratitude to the people in your warehouse. It is CRAZY how fast they are working. My order shipped early the next day and is expected to arrive on Sunday. You have an Amazing team. Because of their hard work and dedication, I am able to get my renovation started earlier than I anticipated.
    Keep up the amazing work, Pete💪🏻

    Pete, I'd be curious to know in the coming weeks the effect (if any) of over-seeding on a newly renovated lawn. I've always heard not to do so for at least one full growing season. Let us know if you see any effects. I'm also very interested in the bluemuda and how it does over time. Interesting stuff...

    Can the 5-0-5 be used with a hose end sprayer? I have a family member who is taking care of 2k sq ft. Going with the beginner guide but it’s pretty pricy to go with protene due to it’s only 2k sq ft to cover, would substituting protene with 5-0-5 be ok to do so?

      Also wanting to put down a pre emergent in June (prodiamine) will that be ok if I plan to over-seed with rye in October? I read that you can seed 3 months after pre emergent.
      Was thinking:
      Feb 1/3 rate prodiamine (before 55)
      March full rate dimension (at 65)
      June 1/3 rate prodiamine
      Oct PRG over-seed
      Dec 1/3 rate prodiamine
      Just making sure it won’t affect germination...thanks! I didn’t put any down last season after March and poa was outta control.

    • @GCITurf
      @GCITurf  3 года назад +2

      Depending on the weather it would eventually die but with that said if you allow it to happen that way the Bermuda has way less time to fill back in and create a thick yard this is why I force the ryegrass out of existence to open the door for the Bermuda to thrive.
