I've been listening to Hoobastank for a long time. Back when I was a kid in the early 2000s was when bands like Linkin Park, Slipknot, Korn, Disturbed, Limp Bizkit, Breaking Benjamin, System of a Down, Gorillaz and Godsmack first came around. It was called the age of Nu metal.

Good grief, Crawling in the Dark was huge. The Reason was Huge. Actually, they had quite a few multi-platinum hits, so they're nowhere near being one hit wonders. Your friends probably know several of their singles without realizing it's the same band that did The Reason.
Omg! I was just watching a documentary on Yt rock n roll true stories on P.O.D., and your name popped up. It made me remember that I was in this video! I remember that shoot was long, but fun… and I still have the shirt you signed for me after we wrapped. You all were so nice (to me, I can’t speak for anyone else. Haha jk). this song shows how life gets better kids. I got beat up in middle/high school and when I went to college, they were all crawling at my feet for help! They were NEVER going to be a part of me. Now, I get to sit down watch the action while they all have tons of babies with no daddy and no life while I'm successful and with a great man

@@curtfox91 yeah the old classic Hoobastank from 2002 had a very similar Nu-Metal style like Incubus, but after their 3rd Album from 2006 the band changed their style quite a lot and evolved into their own completely unique style and sound, becoming more of a modern Alternative Rock band and leaving the "Nu-Metal" genre behind.
