- Take a look back at the footage I recorded at Busch Gardens Williamsburg during the final year of the Big Bad Wolf suspended coaster. This is the first time I have released this footage in 60fps.

I will never stop missing this coaster.
Maybe the best BBW footage I've seen!
Thank you, Robert!
Im so glad its returning next year i cant wait
Well, another video on another coaster I wish I could've ridden! Thanks!
THE best footage of BBW out there
Thank you so much, Chris! That always means a lot coming from you. Keep up the great work.
That looks astonishingly clean!! Like you took the video yesterday with “modern” equipment.
Love this. Hope you are good Sean!
Thanks, Sam! I hope all is well with you.
My first coaster ever, and you preserved it so well. Thanks for being the guy willing to lug a tripod around the amusement park all day!
Ha ha. You are welcome. I remember going to guest relations that day and asking if I could bring the tripod in the park with me. The staff was awesome and even checked to make sure I got some good footage as I was leaving the park. Bringing the tripod in the park was the best thing I could have done as I also used it to record my most popular video on the same day.
This was my ride back in the day 😎 probably one of the best suspended coasters ever created
Saddest roller coaster removal of all time. Every kid in Virginia's first "big" coaster since you only had to be 42 inches to ride it. Even beyond the nostalgia and sentimentality, it was a damn good ride. It didn't really feel "old" either. Just there one day and gone the next. Sigh.
It was a great ride and easily my favorite at the park back then. It would have been interesting to see what the ride would have been like if the park decided to replace the ride with an upgraded version. Having said that, I really do love Verboten.
Hey Sean! This is wonderful footage! Is it ok if I use it in a video I'm making on Big Bad Wolf? I'll provide credit to your channel of course!
Thank you, Ryan. Yep, feel free to use it. I hope all is well with you.
You have some of the best on/off-ride footage of both defunct and current rides out there! I wonder when can we see another TV special from you one day?
Thank you for watching! Unfortunately, I no longer upload TV specials or ride manufacture videos. The ones I used to have on my site were removed a couple months ago. I did this to help satisfy RUclips who kept telling me I had videos on my channel that were ripped off other channels, which none of it was. I never received a copyright on any of that stuff. but took it down anyway.
It’s more noisy than something like The Bat! Wonder why, but kinda like it, adds character, like an Arrow🖤
I have always wondered about that sound. Iron Dragon at Cedar Point has a similar sound, but Top Gun/The Batt at Kings Island doesn't. It might have something to do with the larger wheels and more banking. Not exactly sure.
I wish this coaster was still around, but Verbolten is a worthy successor. I remember riding this once back in 2008, it was a top tier Arrow suspended coaster based on memory. I think the closest experience I could get to being on this is riding The Bat at Kings Island which I plan to do next year. This coaster is iconic and is sorely missed, but Verbolten is good too.
Hi! Great footage, can we use this for a documentary about the ride? Thanks!
Yes. You can use it. Please provide a credit either on-screen or in the description of the video. Thank you for asking.
Original upload date: August 16th 2009
Yep, the original version was uploaded two days after it was recorded. August 14th, 2009.
Am I just dreaming but didn’t the wolf have a water effect as it swept close over the Rhine? Like water cannons shooting upwards as the train passed over? Not shooting at the riders but just a visual for ones watching.
I honestly hadn't heard of that before. If that did take place, that would be cool to see.
