I saw several podiatrists and physical therapists over about 25 years. They kept saying plantar fasciitis. Spent a lot on them and the orthotics. When the last doc wanted to operate I asked a chiropractor if she could do anything. She looked at my feet closely. Said your ankle is out of place and set it back in place. I was finally pain free. It did take a few months because it would work itself back but the pain wasn't bad like before and eventually it stayed in place. Now I can wear sandals and go barefoot some daily.

Hey guys I have pain on the top of my foot on the side near my arch. I've since switched shoes to give me more support but if I walk a lot at work the pain returns. Any idea what that is or how I could stretch it out so it doesn't hurt as bad???
Bob, I'm so sorry for your ataxia and other problems. I hope you can figure out a solution and get back to baseline. There's another cause of foot pain that is rarely diagnosed but quite prevalent - cat scratch disease (bartonellosis). This difficult to diagnose and difficult to treat, often asymptomatic infection is caused by the bacterium bartonella henselae. Its most distinctive symptom is tenderness on the bottom of the feet when first arising, which recedes after a few minutes of walking around. Other less specific symptoms can include arthritis, cognitive issues, mental illness, fatigue, ocular migraines/double vision, a rash that looks something like cat scratches, and many of others.
My second and third toes feel like they have rubber bands around them after a few miles or if I spend a lot of time walking on cement floors (like Home Depot) Someone mentioned Morton's Neuroma. I haven't seen a doctor yet Do you have exercises for that? I had surgery on one of my feet when I was about 23 years old which involved pins. This foot is pretty flat now and it's the one that hurts the most. The pain has made it unbearable to hike and shop.
I know that feeling! I don't remember what it's called, but they did a video. Search for Bob and Brad foot pain and you might find it. There are exercises with a ball or a rolling pin. The plantar faciaitis exercises helped me too. Also, I wear only flat shoes and changed to a half to a whole size larger. It does have something to do with the tendons in the arch so do all those exercises and massages.
For a year I kept getting the same diagnosis of planter fasciitis on my right heel pain. It hurt to put weight on it and I started to walk funny trying not to put weight on it. I did the support shoes, the inserts ect.... Then final a pain specialist asked if my previous doctor ever did an epidural on the L5 vertebrae? The L5 nerve runs all the way to the bottom of your right foot about the same spot the pain is for planter fasciitis told him no... we immediately scheduled the day procedure. After that surgery, I stood up and absolutely 100% no pain! Instant relief from having pain for a year. Also Doing reflexology on the bottom of your feet will sometimes diagnose whare problems are in your body. Tell me more about your giveaway!
I have pain in my foot making it hard to walk, under my big toe area. I'm not very old but I was homeless at one point. Which is hard on the body. But, I just started getting it. I am a single mom so I have to hope this goes away.
Please hear my pleas. I am a parent to a 17month old with bowed legs. There aren't any support group out there or guidance to help us through this. I have so many questions and not much answers. He's currently in PT. I don't know if he should also get a podiatrist to have a look at his ankle as well or if that's part of being bowed legged. I also want to know what will help. Walking yes I know. But with or without his supportive New Balance shoes? What about ride on toys and those Balance bikes for toddlers. I'm just so desperate looking for answers to prevent my child life long pain from this.
The condition I've found that seems to describe my problem the best is cuboid syndrome. Are there any PT exercises or massages to help? (Of course, a diagnosis would be good....)
I have all types too, from using pedals for years at machines we used in a business we owned. Terrible isn’t it? Changes the way you carry yourself and after awhile you get all out of balance, on top if the pain issue.
Here's one for you. Can you help? Six years ago and now yesterday, I get a terrible pain in my left calf and almost crumble to the ground. The doctor (last time) diagnosed it as inflamation. I needed to take lots of ibuprofen for a few days and avoid stairs for two weeks. Suggestions on what I can to avoid this?
Along w massage, I found Baretraps "Rebound" sandles literally bounce, massage feet so I can walk really well w "Planter Fasciitis", & can go barefoot some. And stretch the Hip flexor, opposite foot on knee, stretch, first in morning.😇
I greatly appreciate this video! I've read about having shoes with low soles and that people should walk barefooted. However, I can't find an answer for me. I have high arches and high insteps. Low soled shoes tend not to have arch support. Does a person like me need arch support in my case? Or would I benefit without it in a low, flat soled shoe? I was looking at Xero brand shoe bcz it fit what you showed in your video. Lightweight, bends, low soles, wide toe box. If you can answer me, that would be great! My Dr only recommends heavy thick soled shoes to everyone... New Balance, Brooks, and 1 more similar to those. Bcz he told my hubby the same thing and our feet are very opposite. 🙄
My right foot is feeling stiff and only right couple of toes...was walking 3 miles per day and standing a lot shooting pictures for local college..so may have so strain on that side of foot. any other advice? thanks guys..

@ JBean, I agree with MMama - sounds like you have scar tissue and need massage. It can be painful so start off gentle and get aggressive. Shots lose effectiveness, and your body can only handle so much steroids. Hope you regain normal movement in toes. Work them every day.
Ive been jogging quite a bit and noticed I get a lot of pain in my big toe. Its up a ways and on top. Guessing its the tendon or the bone taking a beating.

It does get very painful, though, and the toe has been partially numb/reduced sensation as well for a number of years, on the underside, and the side of it that is closest to my third toe.
Thank you had foot pain for last few years ! You got this Bob. We got our famous PTs back. 😀
Toe separaters can make a wonderful difference in how your feet feel.
Hello Ella how are you doing today
I need that massager I been suffering from for pain for a long time now . Mine came from driving so much for uber .. you can use a frozen bottle roll it from under your foot roll back and forth..
Massager is amazing
I was hoping to hear about Metatarsalgia - ball of foot pain.
Hey guys I have pain on the top of my foot on the side near my arch. I've since switched shoes to give me more support but if I walk a lot at work the pain returns. Any idea what that is or how I could stretch it out so it doesn't hurt as bad???
What brands of shoes have large toe boxes? Closed toe shoes all make my toes sore after a few hours.
I have midfoot arthritis. Every step is painful. Can you please help?
Have you tried rolling a tennis ball or rolling a frozen water bottle back and forth?
Stepped out of bed and my my…the shooting pain in the middle of foot…I hoped on one leg to the bathroom…I didn’t wanna deal with it
Bob, I'm so sorry for your ataxia and other problems.
😮
Dear Bob - wishing you all the best with speech therapy and health in general.
My second and third toes feel like they have rubber bands around them after a few miles or if I spend a lot of time walking on cement floors (like Home Depot) Someone mentioned Morton's Neuroma. I haven't seen a doctor yet
Do you have exercises for that? I had surgery on one of my feet when I was about 23 years old which involved pins. This foot is pretty flat now and it's the one that hurts the most. The pain has made it unbearable to hike and shop.
I know that feeling! I don't remember what it's called, but they did a video. Search for Bob and Brad foot pain and you might find it. There are exercises with a ball or a rolling pin. The plantar faciaitis exercises helped me too. Also, I wear only flat shoes and changed to a half to a whole size larger. It does have something to do with the tendons in the arch so do all those exercises and massages.
@@melsterifficmama1808 thank you!
@@DOLfirst I hope you get better!
@@melsterifficmama1808 thanks! Today I taped a thing to my foot but haven't done much to test its effectiveness. 🤞
For a year I kept getting the same diagnosis of planter fasciitis
on my right heel pain. Also
Doing reflexology on the bottom of your feet will sometimes diagnose whare problems are in your body.
Tell me more about your giveaway!
Can i BIKE ? because i can't hardly walk 😢
Yes, biking is great exercise as well!
Nothing ever for the top of the foot!
Hi and hello Dear Bob and Brad You save our lives and you make life easier for us God bless you dear Bob and Brad
I have pain in my foot making it hard to walk, under my big toe area. I'm not very old but I was homeless at one point. Which is hard on the body. But, I just started getting it. I am a single mom so I have to hope this goes away.
Bringing hope & cheering us on always 🤗 👍…thanks guys 🥰 🙏!
Thank YOU!
Good video, but what about neuromas???? So many people have this from wrong foot wear, thinning of fat pat as on ages, etc.
They have a vid on cuboid syndrome. ruclips.net/video/9-Q14n4zplU/видео.html
I need it!
My left foot is hurting, can't bear weight!
Love and support to Bob!
What about neuromas?
I have arthritis in both of my feet. So what can be done for that.
It is in the middle of each foot.
Really enjoy your program.
God bless you.🙏👋👍
Sounds like it's probably something else but I'm not a doctor. Like plantar fasciitis
Zero drop, natural foot shaped shoes have been life changing for me, both at work as an RN and for my work outs!!
Great!
Bob&Brad, What about pain above your feet ?? Painful and tightness what causes this?? Along with knee pain?
This I can relate.
I have both of your massage fund. I’ll need to use it on my feet. Thanks, guys!
I have all types of foot pain from driving a bus for 22 year's.
I have all types too, from using pedals for years at machines we used in a business we owned. Terrible isn’t it? Changes the way you carry yourself and after awhile you get all out of balance, on top if the pain issue.
Same here...20 years of driving the bus... Developed problems in both feet ... Lose weight and more pain comes SMH
You guys read my mind, been having foot pain in the mornings and after sitting a while.
BOB ..YOU Pick Your Feet..DON'T Bob..😒😖😏..You too Brad..😄😄😂😑😏
I was waiting for mine, pain on top of foot. It hurts!!
Hello 👋 Annie how are you doing?
Here's one for you. Can you help? Six years ago and now yesterday, I get a terrible pain in my left calf and almost crumble to the ground. The doctor (last time) diagnosed it as inflamation. I needed to take lots of ibuprofen for a few days and avoid stairs for two weeks. Suggestions on what I can to avoid this?
Bob I hope you are doing well in your ataxia treatment! 🙃
Along w massage, I found Baretraps "Rebound" sandles literally bounce, massage feet so I can walk really well w "Planter Fasciitis", & can go barefoot some. And stretch the Hip flexor, opposite foot on knee, stretch, first in morning.😇
I WALK TOO MUCH and HAVE Foot PAIN...LET ALONE I WORK WITH STEEL TOE BOOTS!!😔😞😔😪
Now this got me worried about my feet, I can’t walk very much cuz it hurts and am very skinny, which type of doctors I must meet?
My right foot is feeling stiff and only right couple of toes...was walking 3 miles per day and standing a lot shooting pictures for local college..so may have so strain on that side of foot. any other advice? thanks guys..
Bone spur problems? Do you have any suggestions for relief?? Ty ahead of time.😌
Right there with you ... bone spurs on both heels. Have found icing feet on big frozen bag of peas for 20 minutes twice a day, and heel pads inserted in my shoes gives some relief. Have also gotten cortisone shots twice ... wears off after a couple of months. The shots hurt like crazy
My foot cracks painfully sometimes when I walk, when I push off that foot. Puts me out of commission for a bit every time.
Have been dealing with plantar fascists for decades. Had surgery in the 90s. Now pain is back. Fell and now plagued with bunions. My interferential machine is at the end of its life expectancy. Thanks for your videos.
Would you do another video on sesmoiditis and also Bunions. And are they related? Taping, padding techniques…thanks
All the best to Bob an him daughter! I have lot of tension my soles, pain in in my ankles. Toes are sometimes in pain. Stretching of them helps the pain and tightness. High heel shoes are most of unpleasant shoes because of pain to foots and back. Best, Bob&Brad🌞👍👍
thank you for your awesome videos stay strong Bob the tall one :)
Hello 👋 how are you doing today
I definitely have number 5!!!! It’s a weird pain that pushes up & some times after the pain get super bad I feel a sense of jittery. I hate it!!! It’s very hard to describe but it’s a nasty feeling !!!😢
Down through the years I feel like I’ve gotten to know your feet well. I don’t regret one minute of it!
😂
Pick me! Pick me! Man I need that for my entire body!!! 😉
I’ve been told I have Morton’s Neuroma with my right foot & plantar fasciitis on my left. I can barely walk sometimes. I don’t want any more shots! I now can’t curl my toes on the neuroma foot now. Plus now i have a lump on the bottom in my arch. Expensive orthopedic inserts & shoes plus exercises have not helped:( Surgery seems to be the only option.
I got a small red light therapy box . I used it every few hours... the symptoms cleared up with no medication. I used it for a few weeks.
@@Macsrus5 I’ve been using one as well but no relief yet. Of course I work 12 hrs & I’m on my feet the whole time.
Try KT tape! I use it on everything! Make sure you follow the video for it on RUclips... I bet you’ll get some relief! Don’t have surgery until you’ve tried everything!!!
Try a massage therapist. I'm not kidding, they can work miracles!
@ JBean, I agree with MMama - sounds like you have scar tissue and need massage. It can be painful so start off gentle and get aggressive. Shots lose effectiveness, and your body can only handle so much steroids. Hope you regain normal movement in toes. Work them every day.
Loosening laces dosent help , constant burning across middle of foot , creams and pain killers no help 😢
Ive been jogging quite a bit and noticed I get a lot of pain in my big toe. Its up a ways and on top. Guessing its the tendon or the bone taking a beating.
The two of you are just so awesome. Thank you for being you!!
Hello Mary how are you doing today
Had plantar fasciitis and used deep heel cup shoe inserts which completely cured it and it hasn't returned.
What about hammertoes!?
bad video guys, the camera guy is showing u half body up instead ur foot!!
Bob and Brad, Hi. Do you ever answer viewer questions?
Brilliant as always, much gratitude to you both.... so fantastic to see Bob back.
I was kinda hoping that you would’ve touch base on this one cramping on top of your foot? It’s only happened a few times and lasted a few days, where when you walk it feels like something on top of your foot is stuck or cramping.
Hi 👋 Theresa how are you doing?
I bought a pair of imitation dr martens 4 years ago. And that gave me plantar fasciitis. I never thought I would go through this. I love your videos on foot pain. I am looking into buying your foot massager. Some days are great but then I have those painful days when I don’t do my exercises. Thank you two for your videos.
I have major foot issues! 😖
I been having since a teenager so what cause the problem when i walk on it every time
Your show is the coolest! Thanks for everything.
Thankyou guys you are both great in helping people .keep it up

@BobandBrad Not necessarily.
I was just looking for information on the bridge of the foot and felt this would ease future views as to what they may be looking for.
Good luck Bob! We really appreciate you! Prayers.
