Your foot massage and stretching exercises worked beautifully for me, Will! I used the X6 PRO Massager, did the toe stretches and did the calf stretches that you described. Then I did a 30 minute walk without feeling any heel pain, it was such a joy to be able to do that! As an added bonus I felt the muscles in my lower back tighten to the point that I stood up perfectly straight without any conscious effort to do so. I just can't thank you enough because I haven't wanted to do any walking exercise for the past 18 days; I found that to be rather depressing because I've become so used to walking for at least 40 minutes a day. As I mentioned 2 days ago I'm 73 years old; I plan to walk long distances through a busy airport in a couple of months and I did so want to be able to do that comfortably, now I feel confident that I'll be able to! Your video is the most useful one I've ever seen, thank you again Will! (Pete)
I have to say a big thank you to Will as after having a back op in Dec 2022 on T9-T10 for a disk which pushed on the spimal cord losing most of the use of legs and lower bodysince watching lots of videos but Will i am more able to get around legs are getting stonger still have a way to go but hopefuly my life will not be in a wheelchair so thank you once again Will
Thank you for all your knowledge and the healthy tips you share with all of us. It’s all so inspiring and works wonders. Very much appreciated Will!🙌❤👍
Thank you., Mr. Harlow. I did purchase your book and find it useful for this almost 75 y/o man; your explanation on using the Cain or Walking-Stick on the You-Tube has been wonderful, also; I was doing it wrong before. I use the cain more to assist when walking with hip pain rather than leg issues and have discovered much relief after some practicing. Your suggested usage works well as long as I am using the tool. I highly recommend the book and I recommended it to my Chiropractor who is also a Physical Therapist. I showed the book to him and he knows "It's just the basics", as you said, but it is good to have the book on hand at the home. Thanks, Wil. Monte Miller in Vancouver, Washington USA.
Definitely exercises I will incorporate in my routine! At age 63, a 12 hour night shift takes its toll, no matter which shoes I wear. And these exercises are short and simple enough to do in a tea break or when doing the paperwork! Thank you so much!
Will, I'm almost 50 but I love following your advice ❤. I walk everyday at least 8-10 km, I do aerobic and fitness, I'm in perfect form. My problem is finger pain!! I have pain all the time, and they are almost all the time red and full with vesicles. I changed shoes...but nothing.
Thank you for this! I’ve been having plantar fasciitis issues as of late, even though I have custom-made orthotics. I also have arthritis in a couple of my toes. All that combined has led to compensating as I’m walking.
Hi will , Thank you for tips it has been really helpful !! have been trying finding the link mentioned in your video for your book but cant find it... Thanks Lee
I had another session with Plantar Fasciitis this year. I was able to relieve it with some better arch supports and staying off my feet, but wish I had known these exercises for the feet! I will incorporate them starting today! Thank you!
Thank you so much for the advice Mr Harlow I've had bad foot pain for the past week. I've been doing everything to release it. You are so handsome too!! :-)
Thanks Will for this video, I suffer from foot pain(right foot) some time I am walking then suddenly this sharp pain in the ankle causes much discomfort. I hope these would. Be beneficial
I think my foot pain is a result of a ruptured Achilles and not great PT after. It hurts the most on long walks and workouts when it is the bearing foot. I will try some of your tips. Calf stretch and massage? Thank you
My heel was fine up until 3 weeks ago at which point I began to experience heel pain each time the flat part of my heel struck the floor as I walked. I noticed that just before the heel pain began I had increased my fast walking exercise from 40 minutes per day up to 1 hour per day. I had done the 40 minute daily walk almost every day for over 2 years and unfortunately I had not done any of the things that you describe in your video. Do you think that the increase in my fast walking exercise contributed to the heel pain? I'm 73 years old. Thank you for your recommendations in this video, they were perfectly timed to address my problem. (Pete)
Hi, thanks for all the great videos you make! Do you know or have any experience that the glutes medius can affect the lumbar spine? And can I do eg your exercise for glutes that I saw in another of your videos :) Thanks!
We practice heel to toes for one foot first? Then after , we switch to other foot, or we do both feet at the same time? I saw you only did on the right foot. Thank you.
Bob and Brad say to not to strike the heel but to strike mid foot.....what do you think ??? They did a video about it because I just watched it. I say we are built to strike the heel first....
I will appreciate if you could cover the top wide part of the fool just above the palm of the foot. I have arthritis in my pallid bone that I managed to control since last 25 years. But now feel my heals at the back of the foot are slightly moving in-words when I stand. I have Henry bad pain on top of my left foot and internal side of the knee of the same leg ( the part facing the internal side of the right knee)’ when working in the kitchen over 3/4 hours or walking long distances. Especially the outer side of top of my foot. Apologies don’t know what is the name for that. Much appreciated 🇬🇧
Thank you for your tips. I have pain in the ball of my foot and tightness at the back of my knee - do you think the two things are connected and do you have any exercise suggestions please?
I have pain in my third and fourth toes at the tips when I walk or run, any tips as to what I can do. Have a half marathon in 2 weeks and thinking about pulling out. Thank you
Is there anything to help pain on the top of the foot? I've developed pain in one foot wearing any shoes because of a raised blood vessel on the top of the foot. There is no pain going barefoot. Thanks.
Hi, I have plantar fasciitis. And it has become completely unbearable to walk. So, do you think that these exercises would heal my heel pain? I do some of those exercises but I still struggle with pain
@aigul5881 You need to see a foot and ankle specialist. A scan of foot tell a lot to specialist. Custom insole, night splint guard, stretching - all can help.
Hips have been aligned, shows how much out of wack your hips were..hips been one of the natural hinges of the body, the other being the shoulders. If your hips are out, then so is everything else to your foot.
My feet don’t hurt. It’s my toe nails. They r not long or too short but it’s like there’s pressure on them from my shoes. My shoes fit fine not tight or loose. Why do they hurt?
That's true the only way my entire leg and foot felt 100 times better is when I massaged the crap out of it stretching my leg didn't feel to go but my foot felt so much better

Mobilization of toes made me realize how painful my left foot toes were! Thanks for advising us about these exercises, Will.

Thank you! I really appreciate your comment!
I find that stretching the plantar muscle by pulling back on the toes is very helpful particularly first thing in morning.
Thank you for being so clear & specific.

Anything for stiff hip joints especially after sitting long hours !
excellent. Very grateful. After 5 operations in 2 years and a fractured foot, too much crutches, too much inactivity.... this helped so much.
I'm sorry to hear about your foot injury - but I'm pleased my video was able to help!

Walk slower. No need to fast walk.

I have the same question!!
Is there any exercise you know for both hands after an operation for Carpel tunnel & trigger fingers ?

Is this for plantar fasciitis?

I’m wondering why it is vital to use the massage-gun regularly?
Hi
I'm having pain while walking just above the second toe..where the toe ends, please suggest some exercises for that
Can I do anything about cramp in my feet which is really killing!
What is the cost of foot massager
Is there anything to help pain on the top of the foot? I've developed pain in one foot wearing any shoes because of a raised blood vessel on the top of the foot. There is no pain going barefoot. Thanks.
Very informative as are all your videos. What size are your feet and how tall are you Will?

I bought usb rechargeable foot roller that vibrates as I roll my foot. It's actually worked and finally my excruciating heel pain is gone.
@aigul5881 You need to see a foot and ankle specialist. A scan of foot tell a lot to specialist. Custom insole, night splint guard, stretching - all can help.
Any help on foot cramps 😞 I'm suffering while driving 😢 kindly help!!!!
after hip replaceent surgery,i can walk inside not out , why?

From what I've gathered over the years is we are not supposed to massage while stretching at the same time, but if it's working for you..
@@roblong3684 I don't have anyone who can help so I kinda got no choice
Sorry, what happens if you are ticklish ❓❓👍👍
Bob and Brad are content thieves
