Love you guys. Thank you for being so generous with your knowledge. You're changing people's lives daily and may you be ever blessed for doing so. Big hugs of gratitude from Ireland.
I am in early 50's and took up daily serious exercise about 10 yrs ago. Seems like I am continually getting hurt in the last year. Knee, hip, and now ankle. Since obamacare started and made health insurance prices go outrageously high, I have not been able to afford health insurance therefore every-time I get injured I am forced to research injury and self treat. You both have been such a blessing. I truly appreciate all the info!
Your information is invaluable . We love you both in my household. God bless you both and ty for sharing both of your health issues . Prayers for both Bob abd Brad 🙏❤️👍
I purchased the Bob and Brad foot massager. I love it! I had to contact customer service and had a great experience with that as well. Great product and staff!
The best thing I found for planters'faciitis was standing on a step and dropping my heel to stretch the achilles tendon, which released the tension on the planters fascia. It sounds counter intuitive, but it worked in just a few days.
If nothing seems to work... I saw a video that recommended a 4 minute stretch against a wall for plantar fasciitis. It was very painful for the first week or so but over a month it fixed my problem along with your morning stretch routine. I now do a one minute wall stretch for both legs as a preventative each morning.
@@Jared_Berkey Sorry, I searched but did not find the video. The point was to do a normal against the wall calf stretch for a full timed 4 minutes instead just say 30 seconds on the affected foot. It was very painful for me but doing it every day over the course of 4 weeks the pain gradually went away. The person who recommended it and did the video I saw was an avid runner and this did the trick for him after trying things for years. I believe it was an old doctor friend that recommended it to him.. Years later I now stretch for 30 seconds or so on each foot in the morning and I have been pain free. I could not believe how painful this ailment can be and the although the 4 minute stretch was painful, the results were wonderful.
I LOVE shoes with wide toe boxes. It makes me self-conscious sometimes because I feel like it draws attention to my larger-than-normal feet (I'm size 11-11.5 US woman's shoe), but comfort is way more important!
Thank you. Even a pedicure once in a while helps for foot pain. I was so busy last 2 plus years that I just could not get away. So grateful now it helped my feet. 🤔❤🇺🇸
You can incorporate books or something stackable and sturdy to bring yourself higher on a prop like that stool. I used books to prop my butt up in my chair to have the back reach a lower vertibrae. Thanks for the helpful content
What would I do without you. I can impart your knowledge and recommend you to my fitness class members. Thank you so much for explaining and helping to ease or prevent problems. You are such down to earth, informative genuine Gentleman. Thank you so much.
Can you work on a video about hip joints? I have problems crossing my legs when I sit on floor somehow have 2 plywood board each side of me that won't allow me to cross my legs. I can do one. But the other one won't follow. Is there any type of stretching or idea how I can be more limber.?
I was diagnosed with metatarsalgia. I started playing soccer four times a week in early February and my pain started in late April. My doctor recommended replacing my cleat insoles with Superfeet insoles and to buy metatarsal pads that are held in place by a loop that goes around the second toe. I haven't played since I was diagnosed five months ago but walking feels less painful because of the metatarsal pads. I also bought a couple of pairs of Altra sneakers. All Altra shoes have a wide toe box. Unfortunately, most (if not all) soccer cleats are pointy and squeeze the toes together.
9:30 if you don't want to buy a massage gun before knowing if it'll help a good alternative you can use (coming from a family member who walks half a marathon a day for work) is to use a tennis ball. Whenever you're sitting down at your desk or watching TV just roll the tennis ball with your feet and it'll massage it without needing to wreck your thumbs. You can also use harder balls like a dekhockey balls, etc..
Thank you. I purchased a pair of running shoes with narrow toe box even though it says 7 1/2 Wide. I started to have Morton’s neuroma last summer. I changed to 7 1/2 EE, placed proper orthotics, now it’s better. I don’t think shoe manufacturers realize how important the toe boxes are. Also the massage you mentioned surely helped. You guys are great!❤😊
I never knew that the excruciating, crippling pain in the ball of my right foot had a name, Norton's neuroma. I also would put a ball of foot pad on the actual painful spot which made it hurt worse, so I took it out. Now I have hope that I'll know what I'm doing so that I can relieve that pain. Thank you!
I have a pair of those Frodo shoes that were out a several years ago that have a place for each toe. I haven't worn them for a long time, but I still have them. I had a large 16 oz size can of veg by my bed to roll my feet on in the mornings when I had plantar fasciitis. It works well. I also make sure to keep my feet well moisturized and flexible by spending at least 5-15 minutes every night rubbing lotion in and massaging them before I go to sleep.

I know you've already made several videos on treatments for these ailments, but thanks for consolidating them into one video like this. I'm 27 and have morton's neuroma and plantar fascitis in the same foot! Rough year but I'm healing slowly but surely, may use a 2nd cortisone injection and hopefully improved footwear + toe spreaders will do the trick.
@aiGeis I have Mortons Neuroma and have had 1 cortisone injection. You mentioned you are healing slowly. I'm interested how the mortons is now after 9 months?
I have to say that I had a very irritated nerv in my left foot. I could barely walk because of it. I went to multiple doctors and they didn't know why.
