    I'm prone to self-sabotahing. There isn't one day where I felt completely comfortable with myself or with my own well-being. I try not to be too hard on myself, but it still happens, no matter how much I try to stop it in any way. Anyway, great video. Keep up the good work.

      From my experience and being in a group of people who seem popular and interesting. Really no one is 100% ok with himself and has his/her problems.
      It is just that in a group of people they forget about their insecurities and try to enjoy the moment or maybe just forget about them.
      I think we all look at ourselfs down when we are alone. And only talk with close friends about it.
      I am really talking about those people you know that have some crazy ass instagram or life. Some of them dont even enjoy their life😂 so let that pressure go and be happy for you. I mean try, cause I dont think anyone can be 24/7 happy.

    This use to be me. Once I learned how to cultivate presence through meditation practice to the degree of losing my programmed self identity (I’m not a name, or a job but rather I am energy, or Spirit having a human experience) I could step out of the story and observe the subconscious programming in action rather than be the victim of it.
    That’s how everything changed for me plus working with cultivating the frequency of the heart through Yoga and Heart-Brain Coherence training. I also healed lifelong autoimmune condition doctors couldn’t by doing this work..
    the programming runs deep and causes dis-ease on many levels. Anyone can learn to apply this to shift self-sabotage to self-empowerment.

      Absolutely true. Well done. Whilst this video might be amusing it doesn't give anyone actually a good starting point other than highlighting duality or an old world mentality as I like to call it. You can't let go of a subconscious believe if it's subconscious.. obviously.. you'd have to make it conscious first or make changes at a subconscious level.

    for almost 5 years i have been this cycle .. whenever i make progress i just regress back and it's so consuming ! for years i feel like i am doing nothing. but recently i am getting out of the circle by being present and writing my thoughts , journaling and meditating and exercising and self care it's getting better.

    Wow, thank you so much Clark for a further 👁️ opening video message. You’re truly awesome at explaining things. Recently, I’ve been noticing taking a few steps forward, only to take a few steps backwards, to the point where this evening, I broke down feeling hopeless; hence, I tuned into your video.
    One reason had to do with a past rape in the Army, that I thought I was completely healed from, but apparently not, since I kept sabotaging my exercise routine to become flexible, healthier, and toned again.
    Plus, every time I intend to maintain a schedule for my new goals, I’ve experienced sleep deprivation, flu-like symptoms, computer and phone issues, and other blockages, that are BAFFLING 😳.
    I no longer want to play the very popular, Individual and Collective BLAME GAME…
    but it’s becoming increasingly challenging lately.
    Will continue watching. Appreciate You, and will check out other info.

    Finally! I found myself.
    I've been into the self improvement journey for over a year now, and I discovered that I've been doing it for the wrong reason: to make people regret not giving me attention.
    And I now know why I've been doing it for that reason. It's because I was bullied when I was 7years old, and I had a teeth accident when I was 13. These two traumas changed me to a people pleasing person, placing my worth on people's opinions.
    But now, I love myself. I'll become better for ME.

    i relate. i just manifested the perfect job as a full time college student. great hourly wage and a 10 minute drive from where i live. yet i almost quit because i’m an introvert with social anxiety and felt nervous asf to work with customers. literally almost gave into self sabotage before i even tried.

    When you start improving some part of yourself, when you engage in self-sabbotaging is your old self having convulsions just to show himself. Keep your cool, take note but keep moving forward. You're either moving forward or backward, there is no stasis and self-sabbotaging is your reminder for that

    I have numerous albums inside me as I'm writing and performing Rap (for myself) 17 years already. I'm procrastinating on putting something out for 17 years and I self-sabotage at the same time. There will be an end to my procrastination and I might surprise myself once I open my door so that the art can get out.

    This picture is exactly my life. Up and down, I feel like I'm always working toward my goals but end up at ground zero, pretty much the same spot as before, even years later. Don't understand why it keeps happening, I didn't have any trauma or anything like that :(

    👍great work on a tough topic. Phenomenon of reenactment, beyond realm of choice. Reflex to self destruct, most of my energy goes to damage control. Like those auto immune diseases where the body mistakes itself for the antigen, sort of a spiritual version. What a spaz. Guy! You are all ❤

    I've been noticing my self-sabotaging habits, and sleep was the biggest one.
    I would sacrifice sleep to do more work -- client work, marketing, sending proposals, etc. But I was so fatigued that I wasn't actually effective, which meant that I wasn't getting the clients and customers I wanted.
    The root of it was that I felt like I needed to EARN sleep (and food and non-sleep rest), and since I didn't have enough clients, I felt like I didn't deserve to sleep.
    I'm consciously noticing my thoughts and impulses around this to become aware of that inner voice, pausing, and shifting that inner voice to choose a more adaptive behavior. (Sleeping, eating, and resting to fuel my body and mind.)
    It takes enormous effort to be consciously aware in the beginning, but I'm seeing the slow shifts. Not just my bank account (got those clients!), but also how I view myself and my worthiness (the real value).

      I recently heard a thing I love that speaks to this. It's about shifting the perspective from "have I done enough work to deserve rest" into "have I rested enough to show up fully for my work". Because I, too, have a tendency to neglect Lunch and bedtime ❤

    I'm a 17 year old teenager,and really insecure about myself..I HV started working on my body,and myself,but the only thing that kills me is my self..while being honest,my brain just makes me hate myself alot.. hopefully after watching this and taking action,it might get better

      You are still Very young. Give yourself time, working on one thing/ habit/ goal at a time. Cumulative efforts will grant you massive change in 10 years. As you are young, you've most likely got time.
      Enjoy yourself as well, but with temperance.
      Self sabotage can become worse, the harder you work on it, when you avoid the discomfort. Good luck to you 🍀👍🏼✅

      Well, it sounds strange, but coming from someone who was insecure and at one point got attention and girl I thought I wanted. Just work on you and try to not give importance or follow people you think are popular in your group if you dont want to
      There is power in being you and being real. I do have my bad moments or think I am not enough sometimes. But, detachment from what people believe of you and from what you feel imo improves your confidence. I am not talking about becoming no feelings cold person type, just improve your confidence and be bold. This helps in all parts of life.

    I’m working on this now! Started doing deep inner child work and I realized my relationship with my dad impacted me on so many levels and I never realized it
    It was crazy because for years I’ve been about personal development, I went to see Tony Robbins, Eric Thomas, read as many books as possible
    And for years I always felt stuck
    Either I see some success then lose it, or the harder I work, the more I sank
    Or I would know there was something I should say or do but literally would freeze and not do it
    It was subconscious blocks from my childhood and its insane how quickly things changed once I identified those stories with my dad, reframed them, forgave myself, and nurtured my inner child
    Immediate shift in all areas of my life

    I know exactly why I self sabotage with my exercising/dieting.. because I’m lazy and don’t want to work out when I know I should, and I give in to my cravings for junk food lol. I’m 5’10” and 190 so I’m not FAT, but I do HAVE fat that I would like to get rid of. I do exercise but not like I should, I’m actually exercising while watching this video lol

    @clarkkegley I have binge watching your videos on subconscious programming. I love them! I am interested in subliminal audios, you mentioned we can find many online. Do you have any specific suggestions or any specific ones you use.     I don’t mess anything up. I just crash after progress as I have my eye on the finish line. It’s called true classic depression or anhedonia. When you take action yet you crash the next day, it’s real disorder. This is playground stuff here

    I’ve been doing so good but now I’m eating icecream daily, over eating, binging shorts or shows, gaming, staying up late, avoiding messaging someone.
    I’m real tired of it. I suppose I need to meditate but I procrastinate on that too.
    There is a demon inside my head I dont know what it is, but i know subconsciously that I don’t want to face.

      Then realized I can die at any moment. I think I thought I had heart problems and went down a rabbit hole 🕳️ but nothing was wrong. The fear just stayed in me that I could experience the near fainting and its been persistent
