STL Finder seems to be useful it shows results from thingiverse and other libraries.

I downloaded a trial version of Sketchup and it doesn't have an EXTENSION menu bar on the top as you have, but through Extension warhouse, I`ve been able to install CleanUp3 just can't see where to use it.

Which version of Sketchup are you using? I have a free version 2017, and as others have mentioned, there's no STL option in it.

@designer hacks what to do if I don`t have stl extension???

I know this is an old video, but I am limited to using 2019 sketchup or older because Apple is mean to its users. Anyhow, I installed both extensions you mention but Cleanup won't work. It installed okay, and I had to find & download tt-lib; but it still won't appear in the drop-down extension menu (all 3 are listed in extension manager). Any ideas?

Why does face creator want to mess with my system files? When I go to install it, SketchUp says that the program requires access to my files. Why? What does it need them for?

Sketchup freezes if inwanna open stlnfiles from thingiverse. What do i do wrong. I did select open stl file format

johan mostert I’d recommend give it some time. Start your import and then go make lunch or something. I’ve found that about half of the time Sketchup will successfully complete the task it’s stuck on, even if it shows the program is “not responding”
