The Dad is a baker by trade, isn't he? Has his own company, I think? He's incredibly fast at preparation, obviously after years of experience. Smashing channel because it does make people curious how you raise that many children. The parents are so laid back. I admire them tremendously.
Noel has worked since a young age. Fair play to him being the providing man for his fam. And sue is a proud .hard working House mum, ❤❤ together they make an amazing family. I wish i was apart of there family. Adopt me❤
Yes I have noticed before when Noel is cooking he has all the large knives like a professional plus the speed he prepares food I think he could well be a trained chef, just as well with his large family to feed !
I have just made this meal...and it made five portions ....me and my partner for tea tonight and lunch tomorrow and loads for my mom...it was a hit...beautiful xz
Greetings from the USA 🇺🇸 Mr Radford you and your wife are the best parents in all of Great Britain in my opinion I love you guys and your children thanks for sharing your cooking ideas and recipe I appreciate it
I woke at 2am no sleep watched a few Raadford family Christmases and Noels birthday. Such a lovely family how they control them all is unreal the children are a credit to him and his wife, watching them all open there presents was so exciting they all have a wonderful time Christmas lunch and presents. Both should be proud well done Prince Harry should take a tip from your children they are so happy 🤗🤗🤗😉😊
In my childhood, my mother would stir fry corned beef with onions, then add Silverbeet and once cooked serve on rice. It was a dish i would typically get once a week as you could really stretch the meal out and be full. Great video.
Yes Noel! We’re watching this at 9pm and are both starving! Looking forward to having a go at making this! Also, do a TikTok of the way you opened those cans, it’d be a hit!
Lovely. Quickest and easiest meal with a laid back cook that doesn't keep talking about how good he his and his dish looked appetising and wholesome. First time I have seen him. Will look out for him.
" Yay !!! Noel's cooking a favorite meal . We your fans have voted for a Radford family cookbook ... with todays food prices tasty and economic meals are wanted . "
Now Noel give us some pastry recipes and tips for pie making Please. love how you and Sue take everything in your stride having a big family and relying on no one to care for them but your selves. Your family are a credit to you both.
This week's hot topic is our small family's different corned beef hash recipes. Mine is chopped potatoes, carrots and onions simmered in half a pan of beef stock until just about to drop. Add cubed corned beef and re heat. Stir once to mix the ingredients and serve. I sometimes put it in the slow cooker on high for 4 hours. My daughter throws sliced potatoes and onions in a pan adds the corned beef and simmers till cooked, stirs and serves. Mum used to put sliced potatoes and onions and corned beef, covered with stock, in a casserole dish with a lid, in the oven for an hour and half. Daughter's boyfriend makes mashed potatoes and adds corned beef.
Kath, I do a lower carb version. Chopped cooked cauliflower to,replace potatoes, fried onions, chopped corned beef. Mix up in bowl. Transfer to oven dish, sprinkle with cheese. Into the oven to brown. Serve with gravy, peas and carrots.
Hooray! Noel's back in the kitchen 😊. Surprising he doesn't mind cooking at home since he does so all day at the pie shop! Noel's version of corn beef hash is very different than the North American one. Interesting twist. Besides the crock pot lasagna (very briefly shown), I'd like to see any of Sue's kitchen favourites/shortcuts.😊
Thank you for returning to your cooking vlogs. There's always something to learn from your recipes and techniques. Plus, your gentle manner is encouraging and warm. Greetings from the Pacific Coast of the US from a fellow Brit.
We call it potato pie. My late mum used to make this, she was a blind widow when I was 11 so meals had to be cheap. ( never thought of putting in beans or tomatoes, that would help make more portions for someone like me who lives alone ☕️)
… how have you never thought about putting beans or tomatoes in if it’s what your mother used to make 😳 and why the heck do you need more portions if you live alone???? Are you excessively glutinous? He was feeding about 20 people and if you need more than that, I can’t imagine the size of you, I’ve never known anyone to eat that much, but, if that’s your thing go for it, triple up the size and you’ll be able to eat non stop all day 😊
@@autumn5852 not because they are greedy, it's probably they want to make extra portions & freeze it, so they don't want to cook all the time, I think you were a bit rude to that person, just my opinion,
@@gillianmiragliotta9452 You’re right, I live alone and I make a big portion of whatever I’m cooking portion it out and freeze saves lots of time and fuel. 😊
That looks absolutely delicious and Noel should have his own Cookery RUclips channel and sue and Noel are brilliant couple I enjoy their channel five show and the uk proud of them
Amazing the amount of different versions there are of a hash! This version reminds me if what we used to call a "sausage slosh" - but the potatoes were in top with grated cheese.
Looks good, will try this . I usually put sliced corned beef in the bottom of casserole dish , pour baked beans then mash potatoe on top and in the oven to crisp up. But I like Noel's version .
A simple dish, I think Id put potatoes on top so they go crispy under the grill. We all have our own twist on recipes. Thanks for sharing. PS. How do you keep kitchen so tidy?
Nice to see someone feed a big family so cheaply and well and not needing the cooker on for hours. 3 suggestions/comments 1.if they do not like onion ( which it absolutley needs) try onion powder. 2. Try Farmoods for the corned beef tins they usually have it quite cheap and it's usually a brand like Princes or Frey Bentos not some cheap and nasty stuff. 3 You could ring the changes by using ham if you have boiled/roasted a hock or ham joint, ( always a few to be found reduced after Christmas) or use leftover chicken from sunday lunch, I am sure there are many alternatives, that your smart viewers could come up with.
That’s a new one on me, for making CBH . Looks interesting . I just mash my corned beef and potatoes together with lots of butter. And cheese on top . But layer it with beans in the bottom of the dish . Must go in the oven to bake , rather than the grill . But I’ll definitely have a go of your recipe , in us the granuals I think . 👍
I'm from Manchester and corned beef hash I know is ,potatoes cubed ,onion ,carrots, cook till done add cubed corned beef and thicken with gravy granules really cheap filling and tasty red cabbage or beetroot ,lovely
They’ve probably gone back to school by now. He has Mondays off I think so it was probably filmed then. I love Cored Beef Hash but I usually make mine in a large frying pan, & fry the potatoes first. Would the corned beef be warm through enough just under the grill ?
With winter here, it looks like a very hearty meal. Going to wait for a day when we've been out shoveling snow. Its going to be a welcoming meal to come in to. Happy New Year to you all Radford family!
Noel, thank you for doing the cooking vlog. It feels like a very long time since you’ve done one. I do understand you are a very busy man, but I really enjoy them. Thank you once again.
Never in my life seen corned beef hash like this! My family always cooked it in a big pot! Potatoes, carrot, onion, corned beef 😅 will definitely try this one x
Love his cooking vlogs. Hopefully he keeps several of his children handy to be his assistance’s. Passing down his talents in the kitchen are important. Wish I could purchase & ship some of his pies to me in the states!
Love corned beef ash, but don’t need tin toms & beans or gravy grans. Use carrots for sweet flavour. Spuds will thicken dish. Just saying, simple and delicious. Enjoy, what a version you like.
There's so many variations on corned beef hash! You can make it any way you want - just as long as you have corned beef, onion and potatoes in the house!
I think if I cooked this and told OH that he was getting Corned Beef Hash he would have been really disappointed….because it’s just so far from what he expected….but if I cooked it and called it say….”Corned Beef & Bean Bake” or something like that….he’d love it!!
Love your cooking on a budget. One I learnt was sausages, onions, crushed or cubed pineapple and baked beans and I have it with a baked potato. Hope you try it.
Hi Noel I'm going to try your recipe but the problem is I've only got three people at home so do I have to have the amount you're doing what do you think Elaine
I'm definitely going to try this version. Our gravy we have here in South Africa is called Boston. It's powder form. We do have granular ones. Looks 😋 delicious
