Today, I am showing you how I make my homemade, dry pancake mix which is perfect for home or travel! Perfect for camping! You can add an egg or vanilla, cinnamon, whatever your heart desires! Make it your OWN! I hope you give this a try and if you do, let me know down in the comments!

Recipe
12 cups of flour
1 1/2 -2 cups of sugar (she added 2 cups)
2 cups Milk powder
5 tablespoons Baking powder
2 tablespoons baking soda
1 tablespoon of sea salt
Whisk to combine and store in a food safe container

My husband passed away within months from yours. I am slowly changing things up to make my house a little more of my style. Unlike you, my children are grown and I am having a hard time learning how to be me without my husband. I got really sick last March and almost died. But the Lord has a plan for me. My children take very good care of me. I am SOOO GRATEFUL for them and my grandson. They are a gift And a Blessing ♥️🙌🏻

My kids gave me a reason to fight.... so I feel you in may heart! I am so sorry for the loss of your beloved. The little changes help.... but everyone is so different. I know one widow who still have her late hubby shoes by the back door, and his coat hanging on the back of a chair. I'll have to give this a try when I run out of the pancake mix in my overflow pantry. I think I'll make room for it in the garage fridge and add buttermilk powder plus some vanilla powder to it. This is the same pancake mix I use! I LOVE it!!! It is so yummy I make 1/4 of what you do now, LOL. I am single so I don't make pancakes that often. Do you know of any other recipes you could make from this mix? Now there is an idea!! lol Thanks Heather!!!

Love mine too! I purchased these at Sam's Club a few years back. I also found the cutest Mason Jar brand wooden spoons set. Came with a few silicone dipped items in an XL jar.

This pancake mix is so delicious. I make up batches to give to my grandkids to make for their babies 3 to 5.

Thank you for resharing making your homemade pancake mix! I finally made the mix! My husband was wanting me to make my sourdough pancakes again, so we could freeze them! So I used your mix with my happy sourdough! I got about 5-6 gallons ziplock bags full of sourdough pancakes! That was my project yesterday! They are absolutely delicious! My husband wanted to make up a couple bags with a few pancakes in to give away! That tells you, he loves them! Now I need to make more mix! Thank you so much! Many blessings!

Thank you for the recipe Heather 😊, Hubby has been after me to make pancakes. I bought a Belgian Waffle maker plus Belgian Pearl Sugar to try making something called 'Liège Belgian Waffles' . The waffles have active dry yeast and chunks of 'Belgian Pearl Sugar' in them, it's supposed to caramelize & get crunchy, sort of how you described.
Just made this today (3-4-24) I divided it up some for my daughter (they go camping all the time) can't wait to try it 😀 You are the best, love watching you. You have me trying to make sourdough bread lol

Heather, yummy!!! Thanks. In my effort to avoid/lessen gluten, I use some of the sourdough starter (3/4 cup) and either mashed beige sweet potatoes or ripe banana in place of the flour. I make small waffles in two ($10 small waffle irons) and keep the cooled waffles in the fridge. My recipe includes 5 fresh eggs (from my sweet hens), 5 bananas or 3-4 steamed sweet potatoes, a little salt, 3 caps of vanilla, 2 TBL cinnamon, and a little sweetener. My grand babies love these. I top with homemade berry sauce or natural syrup.

I’m going to give this a try and maybe I’ll add the powder vanilla I ordered and use milk instead of water for extra richness. Freeze dried blueberries or any freeze dried fruit would be great a great addition when making it. Thank you for your recipe. God is Good.
