I think I know how to describe why Marko (and the band) makes you smile so much: he sings (and the band plays) to us like a good friend who's been with us our whole lives.
Personally for me: this song is up there with Firedancer and Revelations for me. I didnt dig this album as much at first, but I just finished listening to it again for the first time in a while a few minutes ago, and THIS time, I absolutely loved it.
I have not heard of this group before.......Really love it! There is a sad beauty to this song....I get hooked on the lyrics also. Thank you for sharing!

dude how have you not reacted to "weaver of dreams" yet?
I do think this is the weakest song on Ghostlight, though the lyrics are typically excellent. But compared with Hello Cabaret, Beyond the Horizon and even Revelations, in my view, it falls short. It's not bad, I just don't think it's as good as the rest of the album.
It's amongst my top favourites
