The pocket was so smooth. Yellow was right where u needed him.
I'm currently testing out your FC Castle BO to bust through and stop this play. A castle on your face would have made this a lot harder. Still super enjoyable game to watch.
Fast Imp’s coming with their BBC’s on teamgames is overpowered!
If I tried this strategy I would've either died to a fast castle + castle drop or I would've lost all my hand cannoneers to those war wagons lol

You can use the build order's buildings to form a second wall layer more back; this will give you some time to reach imp intact, and bombard that castle down.

Yeah, if grey went agreesive CD before min 15 , it's very tricky to hold with that late up time. Only rewals doesn't save , also need to make few monks asap and pray for luck in conversions.
Second thing that in first fight 9 wagons lose to 8 hc is kinda nonsence. It have to be easy clean up, if players on the same level.

True but purple didn't support like a good pocket (eg: Yellow) should. He just boomed while orange copped it

Honestly, without the few yellow knights at the start of your offensive, this could have turned out to be a very different game.

Gotta say yellow was a smooth criminal with how he came in at just the right time with the proper comp to defend you. And then there was Bucky and Pronk arguing nonstop, if it hadnt been for such a smooth play by you and yellow that game coulda gone south real fast.

Besides the best fast imp civ in Arena, Turks,
I have tried many civs with gunpowder units.( Contrary to fast imp monks civs.)
Italians and Byzantine, are intuitively awesome, with cost reduction.
Bohemians with gold mining and chemistry in advance has been tested.
However, fast imp means that we must stay long term in dark age.
Who has the best eco in dark age?
An answer comes to my mind: Burgundians !
After few tries, I can do same upgrade smoothly (30+2+2) as the video.
With eco updrade: wood:2/ farm:1/ gold:2., meaning Burgundians will have crazy eco fast imp.
Also, 200 stones has no need to sell in (30+2+2) BO, the stone can be used to build walls or make more aggresive fast imp.(Burgundians 29+2+2)
An extra bonus +25% attack for gunpowder unit is available too.

I too often get bummed down by bm be either from stream-chat or in-game-chat. It's so professional of you to not loose your executing plan beat, while also pushing against that behavior when it popped out. Good job!

in theory yes.
They save fewer overall resources than Byzantines on age up, but yes, their cheaper gunpowder may make up for it.

I love it! I understand Orange frustration thought. In game it was 30 min! Purple was zero helping. I understand that they arent doing it on purpose but seriously if you are that bad you really need to look up some Hera guide videos and practice.
i like that you always seem to stay calm. orange and purple flaming and you use it as an negative example. after all its a game. i quit dota2 and other games because of the whole toxic community and i am glad my friends suggested aoe 2 to me. reminds me of my childhood and usually people tend to be nice

Are hand cannoneers really that strong to be worth fast imping for them?
High ranged damage, able to protect the bombard cannons and are cheaper to get to compared to archers.
@@gherlwinfireson8582 Hand cannons come out of archery ranges right? So would they technically get buffed by fetching upgrades via Blacksmith?

@@TheUsernamehuh I see. I ask because in some strategy games, upgrades don't discriminate if the units come out of the same type of factory.
@@luminatrixfanfiction They are only affected by archer armor upgrades, which means they are very quick and cheap to fully upgrade. They compensate for this lack of upgrade potential by having generally good base stats, which makes them quite powerful in early imp.

I'd say not. A fast imp player is behind in eco so the best counter is to leverage a larger eco by going all-in on castle age units. Redemption monks and skirms is viable.

How do you delete all the walls with 1 click?
After you select all the walls (double click with the walls you want to delete in picture or hold shift and drag a box around them) then 'shift' + 'delete'!
there's a easy way around twitch adds when they come on just jump to another stream and then jump back it rests the add timer.

@Hera how OP would it be if the Byzantines' had access to Bloodlines, Blast Furnace AND Siege Engineers?
That would make cataphracts and camels broken. And with siege engineers even basic onager is decent.
@@zachariastsampasidis8880 I think Byz should have had one of those 3 tech considered how much they got power creeped over time. Siege engineer is more balanced I think because bloodline or blast furnace affect both camel and cataphract.
