This was much smoother than the last fast imp game you posted. It seemed like you were able to get a much larger army into his base faster, especially more bombards. Your unit control was superb. I wonder why your opponent didn’t prepare for what should have been obvious when you didn’t feudal at 25 pop. I kept expecting him to tower you, that should have slowed your build.
This strat has become so much stronger ever since they've changed the projectile speed of gunpowder units. They actually hit moving archers and knight now.
i think the badaboom with the bbc on the xbows was very important, he may had a chance at fighting your all in army with 4 xbows more...anyway, really sharp excution great to watch!
Bbc outrange xbows and it s not like the xbow army can ignore a bunch of handcannons. Personally i think the malay player should have mixed in a few lightcav just to snipe bbcs
I would've gone for all his ranges to prevent him from being able to mass up more units, but your approach of just going for the kill shot and getting the TCs and actually engaging the xbow army (carefully) was clearly the winning move. xbows are so much more accurate and fire so much faster than hand cannons that a slightly larger xbow force could pretty readily widdle down the whole hand cannon army if not for that 15:18 baBOOM.
Sebastian Ballesteros i am thinking about more radical and fun changes.. instant firing gunpowder units, switching gold bonuses with aztecs, 30-50-70% cheaper trash, lumberjacks not needing drop off point or castle age bombard cannons. HEAR ME DEVS 😄
@@alejandrorodriguezalcon6534 If the game keeps going then you're at a huge disadvantage with Fast Imp. The whole point is to attack hard with stronger units while you're opponent is mid boom. If you attack hard and don't finish or don't cause enough economic damage, you're in real danger of being crushed by the mass resources of a good boom. It's a high risk, high reward strategy. If you don't win the game quickly then yes you'll need horse collar, but it also means your strategy failed and you'll need to start booming at home, meanwhile there's probably 6 stables in your opponents base spamming knights straight into your base, while you have a total of 8 lumberjacks and 8 farms to make pikes (no halbs for turks).
So if fast imping is fimping, then slo fuck right as I am typing this someone from Hera's twitch chat mentions it. Where am I gonna place my desire to make a dad joke now? :(

It shows how many villagers are collecting each resource up at the top under each resource bank. The only thing it doesn't show is how many are building or the itemized breakdown of which way of collecting food they're on i.e. farmers, hunters, shepherds, foragers, etc.
Reason for Turks is free Chemistry which takes 100 seconds. It gives the opponent too much time to react to the fast imp. Italians / Portuguese / Spanish would work with a Malian teammate.
@@Rodmantis 100 seconds research time more, but instead of producing out of 1 or 2 castles you can produce from multiple ranges and handcanoniers are cheaper for italians as well. Also there is the cheaper age up which should help. All that summed up doesn't compensate for 100 seconds of research time? I am a noob, that's why it looks like a good idea on paper for my eyes

So what's the play against this? One time i won (2v2) naturally by eventually outbooming but also prepared skirms and redemption monks the moment i saw turks being picked, seemed like the most cost effective way to deal with that in Castle age. Too bad my teammate chased the bombards with knights, couldve ended the game 5 mins earlier if he let me convert 'em damn it.

Turks have historically mounted javeliner en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jereed called Jereed.(It's a sport also) I think that they should access Genitours directly. (Not based on a Berber ally). This would be fair and could be a good trash unit with Sipahi upgrade. I think they may consider this.
He deletes the walls that lead to the closed off forest areas which ar not accessible for his enemy anyways. So to be clear he is not deleting his front walls which lead to the open space between players. The map generates these 'useless' walls automaticaly as arena players know
Still janissarries are horrible :/ They have to fix it. Janissaries and Spahis were the stronges army for centuries in the world. They beated with a few soilders against huge crowded crusader armies. (Also, they should add Great Bombard)
If it is before 1453 still they need to make Ottoman soldiers stronger than that :/ Ottoman soldiers (and justice & tolarence) were the best in these (and next) centuries...
why monastery and not university?? re the relics goign to generte enough gold to pay for the monk and the monastery? The university is still needed for ballistics

Also most of the other non-siege engineers civ are already bad at siege or they have other strong options but Turks is known as gunpowder civilization but they don't have strong gunpowder unit. Janissary is not stronger than Hand Cannoneer, probably equal. %25 bonus is not so useful bonus. Turks' only good bonus is free chemistry. Therefore they can perform early imperial rush. Other than that they have just 3 unit, Janissary, Hussar, Heavy Cavarly Archer. Turks Cavalry Archer is only strong unit comparing other civs.
@@Asterix958 janissaries have probably the highest range attack damage in the game, they're enough to counter cavalry, and hussars can deal with anything threatening to them (like siege and skirmishers). And cathafracts has no counter in the game, not even paladin is a great option because of the trample damage, also remember that very few civs have paladin available, and even less civs have full upgrades on them. Tell me, what is mayans or Vikings suppose to do against cathafracts?
