The Grafton Ballrooms. Grab ‘A’ Granny night back in the days…..!!! About 1979-80 I was at the ABA Championship’s at the old Liverpool Stadium. Won’t mention no names, but there was this light-heavyweight from the Golden Gloves ABC. And on the back of his dressing gown was. “The Grafton Assassin”. He must of been a bouncer. Well it tickled me, I was only about 13-14. Happy Days.

Noticed Neil in a 20 second scene of Tin Star tv show series 3 where he was playing a taxi driver. Such a cool fella and actor, reminded me of this movie. Quality.

I thought Hollywood repeated the same story since 1922 : Americans always overcome all odds stacked against them , their families, friends , military unit or nation ( never a community or neighbourhood beyond Westerns ) - irrespective of truth or luck or circumstances, infinite amounts of bullets ,blasts ,bombs or mere kicks & punches , physically & mentally - they’ll rise above the lot and sail into the sunset with God smiling upon them . The English have James Bond though 🙄👍
@@iiwii8622 Yeah but nationalism as an element in movies is not a phenomenon only for Hollywood these days. It was always that way everywhere....already in literature as well. Hitler made movies.....the Romans had their propaganda and so on.....In the USA Hollywood is not particularly known for nationalistic sentiments but of course you will get that too.
Can you imagine hollywood doing a film like this?.First it would be set in da hood, and the hero would be a misunderstood good guy who was wrongly jailed but who triumphs over this by building an orphanage with his bare hands after falling in love with the pastors daughter, then spaceships start blowing them all to bits.I`ve seen it.

I wish Hollywood would learn instead of spending multi millions on special effects to just have a quality story for once.
That's odd. I wish they would spend millions AND have a great script. That happens quite often actually.
